Extremely terrible car service experience! !!! I have never written a review online, but due to the poor service quality of this dealership, I have to share my experience with customers who are interested in this dealership. 1. Calls never received: When my car broke down, I sent it to their service department, but the staff never called me to tell me what has been wrong with it. When I called to inquire about the repair status, the dealership staff were very vague in their statements, and sometimes no one even responded with very long wait time, even for more than 1 hour waiting on the phone line. But later, the car dealer said that I never answered his call, so the car was left aside and not repaired for 20 days. 2. Infinitely extended submission deadline: While my car had not been repaired for a long time, I negotiated with Domnick, and finally I decided to continue repairs at the dealership. He promised that the estimated delivery time of the vehicle is 2024/02/09. But it took me until February 23, 2024 to finally get the car. During this period, I kept calling to inquire, but they always had to wait for their response. 3. The service staff's knowledge about auto repair is worrisome: When I got the car, the battery failed due to long-term storage and I couldn't drive the car. The relevant staff didn't even know where the most basic ignition position was. 4. The car maintenance was not done properly. Since my car could not be driven due to problems with the key chip and starter, the staff prepared a new key for me. But the new key doesn't work to open my car door, which means I have to hold two Jeep keys at all times to drive, the old and the new one. Besides, I was informed that only the key needed to be replaced in the first time, they told me the car was good to go after the key replacement. While the car broke again after the key replacement, I drove it back only the know that the key slot also needed to be replaced, while they did not inform me at all the first time I drove in. Finally, I would like to make some comments about Englewood: For any industry, it is indeed very important to gain profits, but as a service industry, you should at least serve your customers seriously instead of doing things half-heartedly. Losing your reputation will not hurt you. Not a good thing. Half-hearted service does a disservice to customers and the industry as a whole. This place does not even deserve a single star! Therefore, I implore anyone considering doing business with them to exercise caution, or better yet, look for alternatives.

I wish it was possible to give zero or negative stars. Literally the worst dealer service experience ever. (1) they had car for 3 days and literally never called me once with an update, (2) every time I called for an update I got bounced to multiple people and the answer was always we have no idea when your car would be ready, (3) they never even called me to tell me when car was ready so by the time I found out (just because I called for like the 10th time) it was too to pick it up before the weekend, (4) the problem recurred within 24 hours of picking up the car and (5) when I called to bring it back they has no appointments for a week. 3rd rate operation

Jay went above and beyond to help us.. Best experience I have ever had with a dealership or a general manager.. No bs just give you the lowest price they can do and you take it or leave it.. Cant say enough about Jays customer service! Highly recommend, I ended up leasing from here and will continue in the future.

Unfortunately Cannot Give ZERO Stars: I am deeply dissatisfied with the service experience at CDJR of Englewood Cliffs, particularly with service manager Dominick Baglione. Our son's 2021 Ram 1500 broke down, and the ordeal spanned two and a half weeks. Despite a scheduled appointment, the truck wasn't looked at promptly, and communication with Dominick was a nightmare. Compounded by dealership closures, Dominick's contradictory statements and derogatory comments added to the distress. Chrysler's case manager, Nikhila, provided some relief but revealed the part Dominick claimed was in stock was backordered. In addition to unnecessary expenses, like a hefty tow charge and alternative transportation costs to get my son driven back to his current living place, we received the truck back with a faulty tire. Neglected maintenance issues, ongoing struggles to get the truck to his home, and the exorbitant cost of shipping the truck back down to him -contribute to our dissatisfaction If CDJR of Englewood Cliffs had stuck to their schedule, we could have avoided unnecessary stress and expenses. Overall dishonesty, communication lapses, and lack of accountability warrant a rating far below one star. For those considering a vehicle purchase, I strongly advise AGAINST choosing CDJR of Englewood Cliffs. Instead, I recommend Nanuet CDJR, where the service manager, Maria, demonstrated genuine concern and proactive assistance during this ordeal. This is my story, and I sincerely hope no one else has to endure a similar ordeal. I wish I could say it ended well- but we can't get the truck to my son's destination- over 10 hours away.

While I've always had a great experience with the service department, today the service department was very unprofessional. I don't know if it's due to the new management (Dominick Baglione). I made an appointment to have my oil changed at 8:40 am, and I also had an oil pressure warning. According to them, the car would take 2-3 hours to be serviced and I would be notified of its status via phone. After 3 hours, I reached out and was told there had been no updates. I texted an hour later and still did not hear back. After not hearing back, I reached out to someone at 3:30 pm (7 hours later) and was told they were trying to get the battery to fail, but it kept passing, which would fix the oil pressure signal. As I told them, there should be communication with the customer, and I was never informed about the battery issue. I requested a call back from the manager. Dominick didn't return my call; the advisor called me at 4:30 to let me know I had two options: I had an hour to get the car or they would hold it until Monday. Since it's 4:30pm, they were not giving me time to plan to get another car, and I need one. The manager could be heard in the background telling the advisor what to say to me, "she'll have to figure it out on her own" I told the advisor that he and his team were being unprofessional. I picked up the car and they said that they had fixed everything as soon as we hung up at 4:30 pm.
Jeep of Englewood Cliffs should provide better training to their managers on how to provide better service to their clients. A lot of Dominick's behavior was unprofessional, and he intimidated his employees by telling them what to say word for word instead of speaking with me directly.

This is the first time I am posting a review at YELP, and I feel compelled to do that out of frustration with their service department. This is the worst service I have received in the 30+ years I have been driving. I leased my second Jeep Wrangler Sahara hybrid from this location 18 months ago. The car was new 2022 model but it stopped charging a few months. I brought it in for service and for the next 2 weeks I had to chase them down to give me an update on my car. My service advisor (don't remember his name) was not communicating with me at all and I was being sent from parts to service and back without anyone knowing anything about the status of my car. Out of frustration I called and emailed the person who sold me the lease and after a few days he managed to get someone from service to talk to me. Apparently the charging unit on the car needed replacing and ordering of a new part. Service was telling me that this part was on back order while the parts department had no record of such an order and the service advisor who was supposed to place the order was nowhere to be found. After the part was finally replaced I got my car back. Fast forward to today! My car (still under lease) showed an engine malfunction. I took it in for service on Monday Jan 8 and my advisor Eli said it would be done on the same day. I asked for a loaner as I work in NY and they said they had none. Today, Jan 12, my car is still at the dealership, 5 days later, and my service advisor has never called me to give me an update. Every single day I call them and ask for Eli, he is never available so I ask the other people for updates on my car. The car needed a part replacement the hybrid battery heater, but the order should be placed by Chrysler not them (do not know why). Eli finally returns my calls on Wednesday evening and tells me the part is in and my car would be ready the next day or he will find a loaner for me. Thursday comes and goes and I have no communication from Eli or anyone else from service. I call leave messages no one returns my calls. Today, Friday, I call and of course Eli is not there or they cannot find him. The person on the phone looks at my cars record and says that after replacing the part the engine malfunction light is still on and they are still looking for the root cause. I have never seen such slow and inaccurate diagnosis service for a new car with only 13K miles. I asked for a loaner again until they figure it out and after having paid $700 on Ubers to commute to work, and I was told that they do not have one (despite Eli's promise that he would get me one) and when I I dusted the guy in the phone rudely replied to me "we cannot generate a car out of nowhere". I asked for Dominick, the service manager, but he was not there. Bottom line, my new hybrid jeep under warranty has had significant problems and service at this location is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I will never lease another car from this location

I’m actually very dissatisfied with this vehicle and your service department. I have had numerous issues that have not been resolved. I continue to have to go to the dealer wasting my time. I just picked it up after spending over a week in your shop and it is returned to me with 2 of the issues still not fixed (squeaking steering wheel and auto stop start not working), finding screws in the cup holder, back seat and trunk and then the two B pillar covers fall out because they were not screwed in. Who knows what else was not done? Now I have to go back again to the dealership.I had water coming into the truck and pooling in the battery compartment before they realized that the sunroof rails were bent or broken (was told two different stories). I fear that there will be rust, mold and possibly electrical issues due to the water. The sunroof rails were replaced but I believe the damage has already been done.

Awful Service Department. No one knows anything. Be aware that they will not service Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram Vehicles not purchased at their dealership with under 12000 miles for warranty work. Terrible service. Do not recommend to take your vehicle there.

I do not really write any reviews because I'm just too lazy to write any and I don't like diminishing a company's rep. But this dealership was an absolute waste of time and lack of professionalism. I made an appointment to get my car serviced, all I was looking to get was an oil check and overall inspection. Nothing major, never had any issues, the car is fairly new and works just fine, considering I'm the only driver and I would know if something was off. The front desk worker said the car showed many red flags and the car was a huge liability for them so he denied me service. I asked to print out the red flags he was talking about and what he claimed was wrong with the car and said he couldn't. I took it over to another Jeep dealership not too far from them and I'm happy I did so, because I got the complete opposite experience from them, they serviced my car no problem! Jeep in Englewood Cliffs is a joke and DO NOT recommend!

This dealer and their staff are an absolute joke , they sell "defective" new cars , they are rude, absolutely unprofessional , they don't even have a manager. There is a Jay guy there, he is not the greatest tool in the box ,he only copies and pastes the same reply to everyone , and when you call the indicated number they do not even reply. All their prior reviews will show you what kind of business this is , please read them carefully before you step foot on this establishment and do not for a second buy any of their extra service packages , they are all a scam!!!!!
