Wonderful music school for my 9 year old daughter for almost 3 years now. She has tried violin and now settled on piano. The teachers have all been well trained, kind and encouraging. Organized and responsive staff who have been very helpful with busy scheduling or rescheduling needs. Highly recommend!

Where my son learned piano from three different teachers over four years. I also took clarinet and violin lessons for 10 weeks each. Great teachers and competent staff. Recital can be done twice a year. A big advantage is the reasonable and easy-to-understand make up policy. I trust and recommend it.

Arete’ Academy has been a wonderful experience for my son Nicholas. My son is diagnosed with autism which often means he can be distracted easily and sometimes has trouble focusing. They’ve paired him with a wonderful teacher who understands how to work with him and it has been absolutely great!
Although Nicholas sometimes finds it a challenge NOT to memorize but read the music while playing, everyone at the school is understanding and patient. They have not made him or I feel uncomfortable. They move at HIS pace. And this can sometimes not be the case for parents like me who deal with challenging behaviors from their children.
If your child is blessed with talent and has some challenges - check out Arete’ Music Academy. They may gave the right teacher who can accommodate your child’s needs.

My 6 yr old daughter has been going to Areté for over a year for piano and she absolutely loves it. Every teacher she has encountered has been wonderful, making each lesson fun, yet challenging. She has progressed exponentially and looks forward to playing the piano.
My 2.5 yr old son just started the toddler program, “Sing Me a Story” with Ms. Kaitlyn and we (I, as a parent, even look forward to each class) love it! The stories are thoughtful and well presented with musical terms taught in ways designed especially for toddlers.

The Arete Academy is beyond anyone’s expectations. The instructors are professional, talented and very welcoming. My daughter looks forward to every piano lessons. If anyone is looking for a music school Arete is the place to go.

Both my kids (5 years old) have started taking the piano classes this fall and both now show interest in playing their little keyboards at home. They seem to really like playing piano now and show off their skills to anyone who comes to our home!

This music school is hands down one of the best I've experienced. I brought my son to learn piano there when he was just 4 years old. The teachers and faculties were top notch, not to mention the materials they used. Within a few months, my son was able to play chords and music pieces!!! Arete's facility has all the instruments/programs you would want your kids to learn/experiment too. My youngest son was just 2 years old and Arete even had programs catering to infants! Thank you for being this part of the neighborhood gem!
