I work with John Clarke and I have only had great experiences at Liberty Subaru in Emerson. In 2021, I bought a new Forrester. I was given a price and they said call other dealerships and see who would match it, nobody would. John is highly personable and does not do the pressure sell. I just recently bought a certified pre-owned Crosstrek with low mileage and got another great deal from Liberty. I highly recommend John and the team at Liberty Subaru. I have bought a few cars over the last 20 years and by far, I have had the best experience at Liberty.

Liberty Subaru in Emerson NJ is the best in Sales and Service. My Sales Consultant, Jeff Miletta, is always so kind, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. I had a great stress-free experience, and Jeff provided the best price the moment I decided to purchase my car. I would never go anywhere else !

I knew exactly what I wanted and the price I was willing to pay. Within just 1.75 hours at the dealership, I was driving off the lot with a Subaru WRX in the precise color and options I desired. The only delay was the 20 hours it took for Liberty to retrieve the car from storage, prep, and detail it. When I finally picked it up, it was in flawless condition.
My salesperson, Kyle Commorato, quickly recognized what it would take to satisfy me and set a personal record for getting me in and out of the dealership with exactly what I wanted. What I expected to take a week was accomplished in less than 24 hours. Kyle answered all my questions about the purchase clearly and, after the sale was completed, gave me a thorough tour of the features of my new car.

Kyle is very good salesman who is very patient and transparent in sharing required information about car. We had purchased a used Forester in January only to find out a few months later that it needed a new engine! We were working on a deal for another car when they sold it out from underneath us! They didn't even give us 48 hours. We had previously bought cars from them and have been very happy but this is just wrong.
They have not even followed up since this last incident.
Don't buy used from them maybe only new.

While most dealerships/dealers will try to pressure you into purchasing something whether you are read or not, Jeff M. at Liberty was kind and patient the entire time we were there. We were hesitant buyers and had to come back a few times before making a decision but we never felt rushed or pressured. Additionally, when we finally made the purchase, we did not feel pushed into buying add ons/ extra warranties. They were simply presented to us as an option to which we could say yes or no. It was a great experience all around!

I had such a great experience from start to finish. Chris Armentano was our salesman and he was so kind, helpful, and low pressure. I've had bad experiences car shopping in the past, but at Liberty Subaru my experience was low stress, quick, and easy. I'm still kind of in shock at how easy the whole process was. No one tried to pressure me into anything at all and I really appreciated that. I'd recommend Liberty Subaru to anyone and I'd definitely like to work with them again in the future.

This is our third car buying experience at Liberty, and every time we come here our sales associate is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Today, we worked with Brian G., and his kindness and patience with my mobility impairment only added to the positive experience. Our test drive was filled with facts about the new features of the 2025 Forester, and when we returned we spent a little time building what we wanted into our ideal car. We even stepped into the lot to find the same model. It was in the color we preferred, with nearly all the accessories we wanted, so we purchased it and will be picking it up later this week! Thanks Liberty, and especially our sales guy Brian!

I got my Crosstrek here on my birthday. I walked in with the determination that I'm walking out with a new car and Anthony was the first person sitting by the door. I didn't want to waste time and got straight to the point. It wasn't easy spending 4 hrs at the dealer, but at least I was happy to achieve what I wanted. Thanks to my sales consultant, Anthony Cirillo, I was able to drive out with a car at a decent deal. Thank you so much for being patient and accommodating. Anthony is the best.
