Car buying (leasing in my case) is difficult nowadays. Sales at MSRP and below seem like things of the past at your local Toyota and Honda dealerships.Subarus are special and so is Liberty Subaru.I was considering trading in my Crosstrek for a Forester and when I saw the new Wilderness models, I knew it was time. I returned to the dealership where I leased the Crosstrek but felt I was getting a little runaround and the prices just seemed too high. So I researched Liberty Subaru online pricing and was contacted by David Ramos, an Internet sales rep. To my surprise (and anyone who has checked out Toyota online pricing will know what I mean) David made me an offer that beat the online price. I made an appointment to meet David at Liberty's showroom and was pleasantly surprised at the easy going, no pressure conversation about the new Forester. David then spoke with his manager, Dan, and they agreed to give me equity on my trade and made me an offer that allowed me to the lease the fantastic Forester Wilderness at a price that was effectively $100 per month cheaper than the competition.The purchase experience was seamless, David was great to deal with, management was accommodating and the finance manager, Ryan, was friendly, quick and efficient.I would highly recommend Liberty Subaru as what could be your only stop on the way to purchasing a new car.

Stay away from this company! liberty Subaru in Emerson NJ is just crap, a car was purchased there and everything was fine! The service manager and the service department is junk. They refuse to actually fix anything and the funny part the car is under warranty! They are truly the worst service center for Subaru around. We had to go to Englewood and Ramsey Subaru to get anything done and both were like yes this needs to be corrected. Not only that the knowledge they provided with regards to our vehicle we never received from Emerson Subaru. FYI...we had an issue multiple times with Emerson Subaru, emailed the owner more than once, this person was supposed to be available to that and not once did he respond!Stay away from Emerson Subaru service

Our family just purchased a Subaru Crosstrek from Liberty Subaru and were assisted by Nilsson Guzman. Nilsson was incredibly helpful and courteous throughout the process. He worked with us to make sure we got precisely the kind of car we needed and walked us through all of the features and options available to us. We would highly recommend this dealership as they offer excellent service and work with customers to meet their needs.

My dread of going to a auto dealer kept me from going until I had no choice.My experience at Liberty Subaru was first rate. If I had known that it would be so easy or pleasant, I would have been here five years ago. My salesman there was Tom Quinn. You could not have called for a more knowledgeable or easy going salesman. All questions were answered professionally not matter how simple they were for him. After the purchasing my car, I discovered by accident that I am part of a large semi secret family of Liberty Subaru purchasers. I mentioned to some friends that I had purchased my Subaru from Liberty and they had too. Plus several had Tom as their salesman themselves and were big fans as well.

Working with Jeremy was a pleasure. We had not purchased a car in a very long time. He made the process very easy and calm, gave us options of a few cars and we were very pleased with our choice. He broke everything down so we understood what we were getting into. He then took us to Rob, the business manager and he was also a pleasure to work with, making the financial part of our purchase very understandable and easy. We will most definitely recommend Liberty Subaru, Jeremy and Rob to family and friends!

Awesome Liberty Subaru!This Subaru is on Kinderkamack Road and is easily accessible for repairs and checks. The staff and service boys are congenial, friendly and very helpful to customers.During the day the Subaru is busy and packed with new customers buying snow-ready vehicles and racers. At night this local Subaru, which now services all of Connecticut, New Jersey and PA, is well-lit, especially brightly during Christmas and has a very patriotic USA flag display, lit up.The lot at Liberty Subaru is large and vast. The drive-around mechanics shop in the back is a very clean and convenient place to stop and hand over keys and wait and sip coffee and watch TV inside.Review: 5

I had some problems with my older Subaru. Sareen and the service staff were excellent in evaluating the problems and offering fair recommendations. Dan and the rest of the sales staff were accommodating and helpful in selecting my new Subaru. It was a great experience!

This place has put my faith back in nj when it comes to buying a car. With all the horribly dishonest snack oil selling bad rep car dealerships in nj, i was able place my future weekend toy in order with help of Saleperson John Clarke. The process was easy with no hassle, no bs but just straight talk and agreement. Just a few minutes of my time via phone and email to sign andI was able to secure my vision with them. Now the waiting begins.

Dealership still has yet to respond to my direct complaint regarding their service rep who accused me of lying about a genuine issue I had with the car. Without any information or proof - guy accuses me as soon as I arrive of trying to get warranty service that was not needed. Another rep who was actually aware of the issues with my car had to jump in to correct and shut up the clueless snob. Been over 5 months, and still no response from the dealership. Ironic how quickly they respond to all the positive 5 star reviews, but won't lift a finger to deal with unprofessional employees who mistreat customers.

1) I was given an hour estimate for an oil change and tire rotation which seems reasonable. Unfortunately the entire job took 2:15. Was not provided any sort of update whatsoever. 2) I was asked multple times where my keys were even though I had given it to the valet when I arrived. Maybe the service took so long becuase they lost my keys? Who knows, there was zero communication. 3) At the time of payment I told them I wanted to take advantage of the service special they had on the website. I was told I needed to pull it up on my phone and show it to them. I think that is ridiculous. 4) Every service is supposed to come with a car wash per their website. Not only was this not performed, the work order I received at the end said it was performed. That is not only bad service it is also dishonest. Not sure what other things on that work order was just made up. Awful experience. I wrote my feedback to them and have not heard a thing. I guess Subaru doesnt care about customer experience. Save your time and look elsewhere.

The salesman I worked with was phenomenal! However, I wish I could say the same about the management. I left a $500 deposit on a new WRX and the deal I was given ended up falling through due to circumstances beyond my control. When asked if I could have my deposit back they said that I could not due to (can't remember the exact words but something similar to) "it being a fee for all the leg work they had to do to get me approved to buy the vehicle". If you are discriminating against someone with slightly sub-par credit and making them pay an extra fee to get approved then I must recommend that anybody thinking of coming to this dealership should take their business elsewhere.

Today I walked in to the showroom to look at cars. As a woman I felt a little little nervous going alone. I was standing there for what felt like a long time when Brie, a new saleswoman saw me and approached me even though she was currently training and couldn’t sell me a car. She could’ve just ignored me yet was happy to offer to match me with a great salesman. I continued talking to her and she shared helpful information and made me feel so calm and comfortable that I am going back to work with her when she is officially on the floor to buy a car from her. I’m so excited to be working with a woman car sales person for a change. It’s about time!!!!
