“Extremely good, friendly, prompt service. I have two young kids and a piece of metal in my tire. I was able to make an appointment same day. I brought my kids with a stroller thinking it would take a while for them to check the tires. The employees ensured me it would be quick to evaluate the tires and no need to go for a walk. They were correct, my girls loved watching the mechanics work on the car and check tire. It ended up being a simple fix which was done right away. We were done in about 30min or less and my kids were entertained the entire time. The employees were great and now my tire is fixed.”
“I came to this shop after my old mechanic retired. These guys did a full checkup on my car which other places were trying to charge me for. I thought it was ridiculous that anyone wanted to charge for that but here we are in 2024. At least Brandon and Alyssa believe in running an honest business. Lucy, the shop supervisor, helped me choose the right tire for my needs, while Carlos, the tire technician, was extremely friendly and efficient in his work. Additionally, an Indian gentleman offered some valuable advice on how to maintain the condition of my tires.However, the highlight of my experience was Lucy’s exceptional customer service. He was incredibly helpful, polite, and knowledgeable, and even convinced me to consider purchasing a new set of tires from their shop in the future, despite the fact that I live in Canada. After the repair was completed, safety was their top priority, and they ensured that I had a spotter to exit the premises safely.Overall, I found the price to be very reasonable, and I highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of tire repair or replacement. Even though I live far away, I will definitely return to this shop the next time I pass through the area.”
“This place was fantastic! I blew a tire on my travel trailer on the Thruway And I was towed to Mahwah To a tire place that was supposed to have what I needed. When we got there, they didn’t and I called at least a dozen local tire places with zero success. I called this place and the guy was so helpful although he did not have the exact tire I needed. He was able to sell me another one that was very similar. I ended up buying two which meant I needed to drive back to my trailer. Install the one tire bring the trailer back to him to install the second tire. The place stayed open an hour later for a complete stranger and saved my family vacation!!!! Had it not been for them my travel Trailer would have been sitting in the middle of a grocery store parking lot certainly overnight. My food would have spoiled and we never would have been able to get back on the road the same evening. Good people still exist! Luckily I live pretty local and will be using them from here on out!”

“Great service. I would like to thank Mary and the rest of the Mavis team for installing new tires on my baby. Mary was very helpful and informative. Answered all my questions and also had them check the brakes and car system. They did the installation and balancing in an adequate time frame. She also gave me a discount and included insurance and such in the total. I def recommend this tire center location. The one closer to me is more money hungry than wanting to provide quality service”

“Phenomenal car repair shop. The owner and his mechanics are extremely professional and knowledgeable in their craft. They know their cars! Went to another place to get my AC fixed - it stopped working in 2 months. Come to find out previous shop didn’t install it correctly! They showed me where the issue was, explained how it was installed incorrectly and then showed me how they installed it the right way. I have made them my go-to-shop. I get my oil changes done here now too. Jeep charges 3xs the amount and this place uses the same “high grade” oil. They even showed me the bottle, unsealed it, and poured it into my car in front of me. No nonsense place. Love them! Highly recommend.”

“Found a nail in one of my tires so I went to Mavis in Oakland to fix it since they installed all the tires. I have used Mavis for years as they have installed tires on all of my vehicles and trailers. They are always courteous, friendly and reliable. I will continue to use them but I have to complain about the price. They found a nail in my tire. They plugged it. They didn’t take the tire off of the truck and patch it they just jacked the truck up pulled out the nail and plugged it. The price $50.00. I mean come on that’s insane. 5 minutes of work for $50.00. If they actually took it off and patched it like I wanted since the tires have 6,000 miles I wouldn’t be worried about the price but a plug for $50.00 is just insane and unreasonable. I then asked how much an oil change would be and was quoted $140.00. It’s a Chevy Suburban that uses conventional oil so $140.00 is completely insane. I understand everything is expensive in today’s world but this is getting out of hand.”
