“Mom and pop bike shops are a must have experience if your into bike riding. Their customer service is top notch and their technicians are very knowledgable. Not something you find in corperate run environments like walmart! I E-bike to work and back, keeping my bike in my office every day. I travel 12 miles a day on bike and its enjoyable. Through rain, snow and the hot summers this bike shop has helped me keep my bike in top shape. I save money by keeping my bike equipped with the best tires, bike equipment and keeping my chain clean and oiled. This means it costs me nothing to change tires worn out by Wear and Tear.
How do I save money? Gas prices, insurance, car payments and the like. I'd rather invest in this mom and pop shop then get a car. Break jobs, tune ups, tire replacements all a drop in the bucket compared to a car and all its expenses.
If I need to go somewhere or go out an Uber suffices. This shop is key to living stress free, connected to your environment and feeling free while getting rid of that expensive bubble that is a car.
The owner is polite, generous and sincere when helping his customers. This is a personal thank you to the owner and his skilled technician in the back room making the dream possible.

They went above and beyond to dissect a faulty manufacturer problem and replaced a piece without charging extra and came out with a bike that’s more solid than how it was made. One of the men worked there for over 49 years and knew the ins and out of the mechanics of a bike. I would trust them for all future repairs now..my son is grateful to have his bike back!”

“Trustworthy. I went in with my Giant E-Bike not having a clue why it wasn't powering on after the winter. I went in expecting the worst since I ride in all weather and even brought that up to the technician(battery/motor). They called the SAME day and said it was just a loose wire. Could've very easily sold me on a more expensive fix, but didn't and got it back to me within a few hours.”

“I'm not gonna tell you to ignore the naysayers... but IGNORE THE NAYSAYERS! This bike shop is far and away one of the best shops in NJ. I brought in my old Bottechia, chrome alloy framed bike for an overhaul and they restored it to new. It rides better now than when I bought it 30 years ago! Raphael and the guys at Chelsea know their stuff. (I also loved hearing stories of him working with Eddie Merckx and Bernard Hinault - the LeBron and Kobe of the bike world.) Raphael is the real deal, a classic bike maker and fixer and he knows what he's doing. You can't do better than Chelsea Bicycles!”

“Let’s start off by saying how great there service is ,they are very attentive very friendly and waste no time when fixing or even replacing a tube which in my case I need a new tube and it was done with in 5 min tops ,amazing ! They also have a huge selection of bikes kids, teens, adults and old school type as well they also have a wall full of different accessories that you would use if you break down in the middle of a ride . The location is great there parking everywhere and easy to bring your bike In I highly recommend this place of business I’m happy my kids are happy thank you and keep up the great work !Make sure to support ya local and small business .”
