“My last visit went alot smoother, I don't know if it was the time I arrived or what. But the store was less chaotic. I'd like to offer a suggestion though, multiple customers had 15 items or fewer and were in the regular checkout lines instead of going to self checkout which was moving alot faster. Perhaps an employee can monitor the amount of items in the cart and direct them to self checkout as to avoid them being in regular checkout lanes and clogging those lanes for people who have a significant amount of items. Today's visit there was at least five customers in front of me and my family who had less than 15 items, one guy literally had 1 case of water but was in the line for regular checkout. That boggled my mind, where he could've easily went to self checkout and been done. Now I had 2 carts of items so obviously I'm going to the regular checkout, but to be in that particular line for just one item was a bit much. Other than that this past shopping trip was awesome. ?”

“Been using Metro Petals for a long time. The webshop is awesome and so is the product. I love the fact that I'm buying flowers from the same guy that manages all the logistics to my door. The product is fresh, the prices are very competitive, the service is attentive, and the fact that there's no minimum to order was really helpful in the beginning when I was just testing them out. Now, I don't worry about minimums or really much else frankly because Metro Petals has my full faith and confidence. I've been in business for almost 50 years, so that's saying a lot. “Y'all... This place is magical. I came in with a countertop dishwasher adapter that wasn't fitting my hose-with-a-spray-head style faucet. I had been to 2 hardware stores and stumped some weathered handymen until one of them recommended this place. It was a last ditch effort before having to mail back a 55 pound dishwasher to Amazon, which I dreaded with every fiber of my being.The staff here was amazing -- they spent 20 minutes looking for solutions for me. It was a complex problem and I could only bring the adapter with me and not the faucet head it was supposed to connect to (of which I had only pictures), but eventually these incredible professionals came up with a creative fix involving 2 additional parts for which I had to pay less than $10. Now I'm home and they fit! It works! Literally feels like a miracle. Thank you so much!”

“I do not recommend showing up early for your appointment here, they’ll check you in but won’t call you before app time even if the dock is clear. Once they get to you they are quick unloading. It’s a pretty busy lot with lots of truck traffic. Please don’t be like the ones that stick around after unloading, once unloaded leave.”

“This beauty supply store is a very beauty supply store. I have been a satisfied customer for 20+ years. Today I went in to pick up some hair for me and my daughter's braids, hair gel, beads for decorating my hair. There is so much to see and each isle is stocked. Lastly, the customer service and product knowledge is wonderful and the employees make shopping a pleasure. They are very helpful and polite. I can say that I can never go in and not take the time out to browse. They also always makes you feel like an appreciated customer. This is definitely a business that I will continue to support And I will continue to refer my family and friends to.”

“Bjs always come through for me with delivery options available or even in store. What I love about this place most is that they always have digital coupons you can preload to your card for deals. They also accept manufacturers' coupons too. They have a huge walk in that you could literally stroll for hours. Rarely, they have samples of random items throughout the store. It's better to go mid week if you're trying to avoid long lines and large crowds. Weekends are for the gangster shoppers who don't mind being on mile long lines. The produce is mostly fresh and filled to the brim. Veggies and fruits are neatly stacked. They have a decent cheese area. Plenty of frozen and fresh goods and the prices sometimes go up and down but usually still much cheaper to buy in bulk. I have done my shopping with BJs and without it and let me say it's always better with it. The workers here work very hard and customer service is good. It can be chaotic at times depending on the day but it's always worth it. Great selections, great prices.”

“Optical Services by Chris.We have gone to Costco, Lens Crafters, and a small shop within the Staten Island mall. Costco and Lens Crafters would not touch my wife's Fendi frames she owned. The small shop did, and my wife received them; they did not work correctly, and they stated that her prescription needed to be corrected, not the lens. We then went to BJ's and met Chris, and within a few seconds, he told us he could fulfill her prescription on her Fendi Frame. We waited while he finished up with another customer. During this time, I was looking at frames but wasn't there to purchase any due to just ordering my frames at Lens Crafters. Then I saw a deal to buy one frame, the second free, and found two that could work for me.While Chris helped my wife, I listened, realized Chris's knowledge and experience, and felt confrontable speaking to him about my two-frame going forward. At the end of the encounter, my wife had her frames ready to be processed, and I also had two pairs of frames processed. One frame was something I would have as a second pair, like the ones from Lens Crafters, and the other was a pair that Chris recommended for work only due to the amount of computer work I do, and progressives are the best type of glasses. I paid less than Lens Crafters for one frame with eyeMed insurance for the two I ordered at BJs. Granted, the frames are not Oakley, but the lens was much better on a few specs, such as a broader progressive angle and better-polarized transitions.The experience was so good we brought our two sons and purchased three more frames with Chris' help. We have all received our Glasses, and for every pair, Chris made sure comfort and proper expectations were done, and we are a happy family.”

“We go to our regular eye doctor every year and just provide the prescription to Costco optical. We've been doing this for years. However, we tried going to Target earlier this year just to try --- Never again! Their glasses are cheaply made even the branded ones, so every time the glasses break, we have to pay $25. We'll stay with Costco optical. Michael & his colleague were very knowledgeable and helpful from our last visit with my son. He's so happy with his glasses where we got a $50 off for two. “First of all, this Costco location doesn't sell beer, wine or liquor. That's due to outdated, protectionist, anti-consumer New Jersey State law. (While it's understandable that the owners of small liquor stores would worry about their businesses, a look at California shows that independent alcohol retailers still thrive regardless of competition.)Otherwise, this Costco offers all the benefits of any other location, a great variety of tasting samples and occasionally unexpected surprise discounts, at least if you haven't looked at their most recent circular. Of course, some values are better than others, so it still pays to do your homework around such issues as cost-per-unit calculations. (Yes, I am a nerd.)The staff has been pleasant when approached politely with an issue, and I've always had my concerns addressed in a timely manner. (Remember, they're people, too!) My one minor gripe is that the pizza department hasn't answered the phone when I've tried to call in an order, but I also recognize that they're extra busy and likely understaffed. Still, my kids love the pizza, and it's such a good price that the wait ends up being a small inconvenience. (See, small, independent pizzerias are still thriving in New Jersey despite the competition! And there are many other local pizzerias I count as my favorites and still patronize!)”

“I am having the best experience here at the Costco Tire Center in Staten Island. I made an early morning appointment because they take walk in flat tire business and, as everyone knows wherever you go, wait times get longer as the day gets older. So, I got here early, checked in with Anthony D. who was incredibly personable & professional. They gave me a big red plastic # to put on my car, which I parked in a regular spot in the parking lot. They told me it would be roughly 1.5-2 hours. I left my key & then went leisurely shopping inside Costco. I received a call about some tire sensors that were so old they really needed replacing. Happy to have that done. I was able to bring my shopping cart inside while I waited for them to finish up. Well within the estimated time. Thank you!”

Parking spots for Online order pickups are always full with regular parked cars. My advice, go within their earlier hours and you’ll be good.”
