I am so glad I decided to try this salon, especially having Vicky as my stylist! Booking online was very easy and accommodating. I originally booked at the Union salon, but unfortunately, my assigned hair stylist had to cancel, which was totally understandable. Vicky at the Elizabeth office took me last minute, and when I showed up for my appointment, she was nothing but amazing. The initial "hi" had a great aura and vibe.
She began with a consultation, evaluating my expectations and then shared her thoughts on the health of my hair. She did not set any unrealistic expectations and was clear and direct with her goals. I really felt comfortable with the thoroughness of her work. She is truly a perfectionist, and her art shows through the final results!
This was my first time getting my hair colored and highlighted, and I confidently say I am glad Vicky did it due to her extensive knowledge and experience. At the end, she left me tips and recommended products that would best suit my hair and help me reach my hair goals. I cannot wait to return, knowing my hair is in safe hands. The staff is friendly and offered beverages, which I thought was sweet and very hospitable of them.

After spending about 5-6 months researching salons that specialize in all types of curly hair, I grew tired and turned to ChatGPT for help. It recommended three top salons, and this one really caught my eye. When I called, Isabela (apologies if I misspelled your name) spent nearly 25 minutes listening to my concerns with the utmost patience. Although I initially wanted an appointment in Union, there were none available, so I opted for their Elizabeth location—and I’m so glad I did!
Everyone at the salon was incredibly kind and attentive, especially Rebekah. She was not only a sweetheart but also gentle, caring, and allowed me to assist with my son's haircut, which was my choice. Her professionalism shone through as she focused solely on providing the best service without any gossip or complaints. My son adored her, and he absolutely loves his new haircut. We left the salon with big smiles on our faces, thoroughly satisfied with the experience.
The salon itself was clean and well-organized. I even had a delightful chat with Vicky and enjoyed a great cup of coffee. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for expert care for curly hair!

I could say I had a great experience at the hair salon, especially with Vicky who did my first precision haircut. She was very patient with me as I was nervous but she explained everything very well and made sure I understood what was going on and what was about to happen. Also she provided instructions on how to take care of my hair. She's very professional and caring and she makes sure I felt comfortable during the whole process. I just could I was so happy with my new hair... Vicky see you in three months!!!

Where do I even begin. I had the pleasure of getting my first ever precision curl cut with Joe Miguel the king of curls and he doesn’t have that name for no reason. When I arrived my hair was super long dry and damaged. I get with my hair looking and feeling revived and refreshed. I am absolutely in love with my curls. I also loved how Joe explained to me why my hair was so damaged and then went on to educate me about my hair along with what I needed to do to take care and maintain it. Beyond excited to go back and continue to watch my curls transform.
Stylist: Joe is the absolute best. His care and dedication to what he does truly shines through. The experience was worth the drive.

I searched around and found JoeMiguel’s Salon on IG. I booked with Rebekah at his Elizabeth location. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with smiles. Rebekah took me to her chair and we had a detailed conversation about my hair and expectations. We cut a substantial amount of hair off today to get it to a healthy length (about 8/9 inches) I was overwhelmed but Rebekah reassured me and allowed me to go through all the emotions. She also was amazing with explaining how to take care of curls and the science behind it all. She really was AMAZING!!! I really was worried when I first went because I had a previous experience from another salon that ruined my hair. But once I sat in Rebekah’s chair and started talking to her all those worries immediately went away!!!!!
My hair turned out amazing and I’m in love with my cut!! 10/10 would recommend JoeMiguel’s salon especially Rebekah!!!!!!

I just want to start by saying that I NEVER write reviews, but I just had to for this. My experience at this salon with Rebekah was absolutely amazing! She was so attentive, so personable, so kind, and very engaging. I told her what I wanted for my hair and showed her a few inspiration pics and she knew exactly how to deliver. She explained everything to me, recommend products and styling techniques, and answered all my questions. I was IN LOVE with the results! She gave me exactly what I wanted. If and when I decide to go back, I am definitely coming here and booking with Rebekah again. I absolutely loved my experience with her and how she cut and styled my hair. Although the pricing of the precision cut did have me debating at first, after the results I got, I can definitely say it is worth it!

Vicky is an amazing stylist! I came in with very damaged / relaxed hair and I wanted to start my curly journey… today, I’m leaving with a beautiful cut, volume and curl pattern I haven’t seen in over a year :,) I am so so happy to be starting my curl journey and so grateful I have Vicky as my stylist for life! thank you so much!!!

Booked with Vicky C for my first ever precision curly cut and WOW! I came in with long curly hair, damaged ends with no structure to leaving with fabulously shaped soft curls and amazed by the form Vicky created. She did an absolutely wonderful job, she was patient, detailed, knowledgeable and informative. She went through care tips and a plan for my hair. She was lovely to chat with and we clicked right away.
I can’t wait to see ya again in 3 months bringing my mother and sister with me! Thank you soooo much -Isa ?

Trust the process! Joe is worth every penny if you’re serious about your curl journey. My curls were lifeless before Joe. Now my curls are full of life. A curl cut is needed for healthy growth and yes, curls do grow!!!

I loved the service provided by Vicky! She was amazing and knew what I really wanted and needed. The hair cut was perfect and my hair looks healthy, bouncy and with shape. She was asking every detail about of what I wanted and was honest on what would be better for my hair. Gave my tips and advice on how to manage my hair and products that will improve the appearance.
