Horrible store. The law is clear, if you look under 30, you need ID. This clown carded me and then gave me a hard time because I did not have an ID ready. There are many liquor stores in Union County, most of which are cheaper than this store. Just lost a customer!

Horrible owner. I asked for help when I was here and the owner just looked at me and did nothing. When I asked again for a recommendation for my manager. I was told that “He doesn’t have time for me and that I should not be here if I didn’t know what to buy”. I then walk around the store to search for a good wine but I was told to hurry up and that “I don’t have all day”. I felt very uncomfortable here and even though the owner didn’t want to help me he kept watching me. I left after 20 mins. I will not come back here ever again.

I recently had the misfortune of visiting Payless Liquor and I must say that my experience was nothing short of appalling. It became clear to me that this place has little regard for the well-being and dignity of its employees, which ultimately worsened my perception of the store as a whole.From the moment I walked through the doors, a sense of discontent and demoralization seemed to hang heavily in the air. The staff members appeared visibly exhausted and disengaged, lacking the enthusiasm and warmth one would expect in a customer-oriented environment. Their lackluster demeanor spoke volumes about the toxic work culture that permeates throughout the store. Bad place!!!!

This store has been paying their employees late and some haven't been paid in weeks. The hours are bad unless you have seniority or are management. I know a friend who used to work here and he wasn't paid. It was disheartening to see hardworking individuals being subjected to such degrading treatment and the management don't pay the amount promised to their employees.

It was as an extremely bad visit to the store .It was impossible to ignore the evidence of employee exploitation. Staff members were consistently understaffed, resulting in long queues and frustrated customers. It was apparent that these workers were stretched beyond their limits, forced to endure excessive workloads and extended shifts without proper compensation or breaks. The lack of consideration for their well-being was not only morally reprehensible but also impacted the quality of service provided.

Extremely disrespectful owner sells cheap liquor is disrespectful to his staff and overwork his employees do not support such a business. I knew a friend who worked at the store and the owner refused to give him his paycheck. This is unfair and extremely disrespectful. We cannot support a business like this.
