DO NOT SHOP HERE. This review is specifically to this boost mobile store located at 35 Broad street. This location is by far the most unprofessional, unethical, phone store I have ever been been to. I brought my son’s iPad in to have the glass replaced. The individual at the counter tells me it will be 45 mins to an hour wait. I paid him 117 dollars and told him my wife would pick it up. Fast forward to 2 1/2 hours later of waiting for it, the device comes back broken. They tell her the delay was the home button which wouldn’t align up properly. This was not even the reason we brought the iPad in, this was the technicians who replaced the glass fault. My wife said no problem, and was waiting about an hour more to get it fixed now for that problem. In the interim she receives a parking ticket and get the iPad back working as it should. The moment she gets home - in about 30 minutes the home button doesn’t work again and the iPad won’t turn on or off. I contacted the store and spoke to the same counter guy I dropped the iPad off with. He tells me no refunds, you can bring it back and he will take the glass off and give me the broken glass in its place. I am telling you anyone who comes here will regret this level of incompetence and service. This was 3 1/2 hours of wasted time and money. I will be asking the cc company to reverse the charges on this transaction as they broke my sons iPad and refused to fix it. They will not issue a refund and told me to bring it in to give me back the old glass. The photo depicts how the home button was lined up after fixing the glass. It will not turn on. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I am now updating this review. I took the iPad to another location to have it fixed since these individuals refused to fix it, the home button was broken rendering the iPad useless. The new store fixed my iPad in 30 minutes by replacing the home button this place destroyed. Do not shop here or have them fix your phone or tablet. This is pure incompetence

Biggest scammers!!!! Stay away from this store!!! I went to transfer over to boost 11/7/22. My number was transferred over without being notified the total amount before doing so. (Transfer fee, phone, activation, ect) The rep decided to transfer my number anyway. Then gave me a list of fees on why it was so much. Mind you the phone was “free” but there was now a balance for that too. I decided not to get the service but now I’m being told it’s done and in order to get a pin to transfer I need to pay the bogus amount. 11/8/22 I called boost customer service (spoke to a manager) not only did the rep create a pin he also created a bogus email account so I couldn’t get access to this account to transfer over to a better cellular provider. Stay away from this place. Best believe I also notified the BBB!!

I went to this Boost Mobile store to replace the front screen of my LG cell phone. After the store tech replaced it, he damaged the back cover of the phone, even though he repaired it, the phone started to overheat and the back cover swelled up pretty badly. This phone was in excellent working condition when I dropped it off to them. I went back to the store and all he did was quickly glue the cover back and were very arrogant and disrespectful towards me. This was a very bad experience with this mobile store. I wasted my money repairing it and could no longer use it due to hazardous overheating. I do not recommend this place!

PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING BOOST: I had the WORST experience buying a phone at this store. My original carrier was Xfinity mobile but with my phone being old and Boost having a phone deal, I decided to switch. That’s where I went wrong. After I bought the phone, I get home and mind you the store is in Elizabeth and I live in Irvington. I get a call from the store associate telling me to come back because the payment didn’t go through. I wanted to cry because I had been working overnight processing customer returns, so I decided to wait in the parking lot until the store opens at 10a because I didn’t want to go home and come back. There was also a heat advisory that day which made it hard to fast as well. I forgot to mention that upon telling the associate where l live he says “oh you live in the ghetto”, he makes remarks insinuating my phone bill isn’t paid. On my way back he calls again saying there’s no need to come in because he verified my information. I go back and wait over 2 hours for the payment to go through and it never does. So I request a refund and ask him about my number and his response is “it’ll go back, it takes about 2 or 3 days to go through.” He gives a response that makes no sense to be done with the situation. Xfinity mobile just told him they released my number so what made him think that me returning the phone from Boost would simply make my number go back to Xfinity. The store has absolutely no integrity or quality customer service. I was told that they’re in the process of changing companies. If that’s the case at least inform customers of the possible delay before they make a purchase, that way they can decide whether they want to wait and pick up their phone the next day. After that nightmare I went back to my carrier and the experience was like night and day, Boost told Xfinity I would get my number back after 3 days. Unfortunately I still have no service.UPDATE: So I go back in hopes of getting my number released and their solution is that I buy a phone from them despite everything I’ve been through. They’re resorting to lying and tricking people into buying phones. This time the individual there was unprofessional and rude. God forbid anyone finds themselves in this situation don’t waste your time. All you need is the account number and the transfer pin. After that if the number isn’t transferred, it’s a lesson learned.

The customer service I received at this store was excellent Moe in particular was knowledgeable and was able to fix my problem with my phone in a minute I wish all Boost Mobile stores had employees like them

This store scams customer's. I had brought a phone from them on 01/06/2022 and it now 04/02/2022 and the phone was over heating, couldn't make phones and then it shutdown and won't turn back on. When the phone started doing this I took it to another Boost store they tried to fix it and they got it to come back on and they said that the phone was defective and I should take it back to the store where I brought it from. When I bought this phone on Jan 6 they said one price and come to find out the phone was more expense then I thought. I went to the store one day about the price of and they were very disrespectful and they talk to you any kind of way they want to. Then I went back when my phone shutdown I told them problem and they were very arrogant and wouldn't help me. They kept saying call my insurance company. I called my insurance company and fail a calm and said I would have to pay $175.00. I don't think it is right I have to pay more money for this phone when I didn't damage the phone. I don't recommend this store.
