Today I went to get my dog groomed, everything went okay. Kristen was explaining how she couldn't get my dogs cut the same as the picture. Which is okay I understand but she seem very upset, better than PetSmart in my opinion. (Let my dog look badly)

I used to shop at Walmart for my pet needs because it was convenient, as I'd grab my pet items as I would food shop for my family. Basically one stop shopping. One day I stopped in Petco because I was noticing my dogs were having dry scalp and I wanted to see if maybe they had any advice since there isn't anyone at Walmart knowledgeable on anything. After I walked in, I've never left! They were so helpful. If someone doesn't have an answer for something you ask, they do not walk away without finding someone who does know. I don't know the training process for working there but it seems to me that everyone knows so much useful information. Every so often I see someone new, and they are not quite as knowledgeable which to to be expected, but they always apologize and get someone who is knowledgeable on the subject. And yes, my pets go to their vet regularly so I could always call their vet. But it's really nice when I can walk into my local petco with questions and they are so helpful! I go in there so often, they know who I am and I know who they are. It's really like a pet family!!! Place always looks clean and you can find pretty much everything you need. Definitely download their app. They price match on their website and they have a great vital care program that also saves money. I have 3 dogs, 2 pet rats, and a cat currently in my home. They meet all their day to day needs. Very rare something is out of stock. I have learned that the quality of my pets food is actually very important. I used to worry about price more then the quality. Everything in petco is a high quality and once you figure out which food works best for your pet (please take gel from the employees to figure that out if you are unsure) there will be no more itchy dry skin,issues with bathroom, digestion, etc. I didn't realize before, all those unnecessary fillers were not helping my dogs and the food was not geared towards my pets specific needs. I wouldn't give it any stores if I could. I go there at 7:30 says it's open till eight and it's closed. It's not like it's right around the corner either!

Ive been taking my two dogs to get groomed here for the last few months and Robert is absolutely wonderful. He takes so much care with my senior dog and goes out of his way to make sure he's as comfortable as possible. Both of my dogs come home looking fresh and smelling great! In general, all of my experiences at this location have been positive.

Pissed off is an understatement. I purchased a sweater for my dog less than a week ago and specifically asked the woman Christina at the register if the item could be returned if it didn't fit my dog since I didn't have him with me. She assured me it could and to bring it back if I had any issues. I go back in today to get a different size as the sweater was too small and they wouldn't let me return it and pointed to a sign taped on the glass in front of the register. I understand there are policies set in place with the pandemic but I specifically asked for this reason. I should have walked out without spending anymore of my money here and will take my business to pets plus in Mays Landing in the future where they actually appreciate their customers. It's not about the money, it's the principle!!!!

Friendly knowledgeable staff. A wide variety of very interesting fish and other sea life. Brought my grandson a nice little fish tank and two little fresh water fish. I also seen a blue lobster which I thought was very interesting (I wonder how he would taste with some butter n garlic).

Don't like the fact that their prices are much lower online and if you don't say anything about it they won't price match... their way of ripping us off aka their business strategy...I spent $120 in the store only to realize all of the prices had been marked up from what I saw online. I went back in and the manager said if they had price matched without me asking they "would never make money as a business" I got back $46...left a bad taste in my mouth I'll stick with Petsmart and Amazon
