I’m so pissed off I brought a 20 gallon tank from them I started noticing the water level in the tank will drop. My husband said it’s nothing to worry about until this morning 3am I step out my bed onto a soaked carpet. Guess what it was the tank linking water around the edges on the bottom where the black is. Now I had to relocate my Oscar’s I know they are stressed out in this little tank I had to place them in. Hopefully the store will give me another tank because I will be there in the morning with my receipt nd their messed up tank smh

Every time I go in here some of the animals and always the guinea pigs either barely have any food or hay or they have none. 3 guinea pigs in one cage one food bowl with nothing in it and another hay bowl with barely anything in it they're supposed to have" unlimited "supply of food and hay for their digestive tract. If you're going to sell animals At least learn how to treat them.

After spending 35 mins in this store , the associates going back and forth with each other (3) of them ; not selling us a gold fish because we didn’t have “good bacteria in a tank yet” because they didnt want the fish to die because of shock but helped the other customers get the same fish we wanted for bait 🤔..

Rude employees who wear ear buds in both ears while working the live pets area making it impossible to communicate. We left and went to PetSmart.

Tried purchasing a ferret today (09/02/24) and was told we couldn’t adopt a ferret because they’re not allowed to take them out of the cage because of Covid????? We’ve bought 4 different ferrets in the last 8 months from 4 different Petcos and have never heard something to ridiculous. I told the man at the counter we were interested in purchasing the white ferret and a woman came to the counter and told us they aren’t allowed to take the ferrets out of the cage. How am I supposed to purchase it if the employees can’t take it out of the cage??? Am I supposed to purchase all 6 ferrets and the cage to take home with me?? 😂😂

Had a certain brand of pet food on their website available for same day pick up. Traveled all the way to the store and were told they didn't have it or carry it in store. So why was it available for store pick up from your store might I ask. Staff was not very helpful in the situation either. Never again.

I took my dog charm to get groomed by Petco. I was looking for a new groomer this time. She was a little matted and let my groomer know and she said she was very matted and would try to best to cut her thin okay. I went to pick her up and looking over the recipt charged $71 for the bath and cut, $12 for nail buffing, + $5.99 material fee and $14 for Dematting fee, and on top of that taxed me when I went to the cashier. So $102 plus tax comes to $109 and plus gave my groomer a $25 tip. When I went to pick up my dog I didnmt recogoizse her. She was clearly shaved.. I don’t know why they charge the Matting fee if she was clearly shaved down?? And tax on a grooming service? I don’t even pay tax on my hair cut.

I've bought small animals at this location multiple times and every time they have been a huge pain about trying to use the info you're required to provide to buy live animals to sign you up for their loyalty program. Last time they literally tapped the Accept button on the keypad in front of me and told me to "just ignore it" and it was only because I had been through this before that I recognized what they were doing and asked them to go back and cancel it. Sure enough, a couple days later I am now receiving the loyalty program emails and they've built a profile in spite of everything. Don't give these people your money, and especially don't give them any personal information because you cannot trust them with it.

Suddenly I can no longer take my dog to get groomed at this spot thanks to Diane Y after having no issues for over five sessions with different stylists. But after seeing the most recent review someone left about how she groomed their dog, it was a blessing in disguise that she couldn’t do mine. I would wholeheartedly recommend Robert for anyone who would like to get their pet groomed. His schedule is always booked and busy (for a reason!) so it may take a long time before you’re able to book with him, but he always did an amazing job everytime I trusted him with my pet! :)

Just took my dog to get a haircut and I was surprised how fast they called me to tell me that the dog was ready for pick up. I literally sent my dog to be groomed since my mom and sister are visiting so wanted the dog to be clean and cute. They literally shaver her completely which the body was ok but not the face, doesn’t look like a yorkie , more like a chihuahua. Needless to say, last time I take my dog to this place and the lady that did it…. her name is Dayanna since I was told to get an appointment with Robert but he was booked for weeks.
