“This isn't my usual Aldi but it's super close to my job and I have to say the staff here is so friendly and helpful, every time I'm here. There was a guy with glasses that was just so nice and he spotted something that helped me save a dollar on what I was considering a "splurge" today. It really made my day how he really just went out of his way to be kind. And everyone's always "bye! Have a nice day!" And welcoming and awesome. ❤️”

“I like this store, always shop there. they have different brands for the same items that you can buy in the supermarket, but it does not reduce the quality, however, it it's cheaper for some items. I removed one star for the fact that at least in my area the store restock become force and less quantity become a available, not sure why is that happening, perhaps it may depend of the day of the week, bit it is noricible from the time when those stores just appeared in the neighborhood.Still my favored place to shop.”

“I seen this grocery store and had to stop ti get fresh Papaya .There are not many grocery stores that have fresh papayas so I came here strictly for this fruit I ended up getting the coconut drinks that areso creamy and delicious also coconut candies made with fresh coconut flakes . I bought a mango and the fruit was si fresh and delicious! I will come back here when I come to Perth Amboy . The young Dominican girl at the register helped me pick out a better ripen papaya fruit . It was so delicious.This store is areal hispanic store with great customer service .Love the fact that the cashier was so helpful .She even suggested a Great Domincan restaurant down the street which was very good. “This is a small supermarket yet a great place to find the usual products at reasonable prices. Meats (butcher in-house), fruit, health and bathroom products, deli and other groceries. However, it's strength relies in the vast existence of Latin America products from Central and South American countries. Any day you may run into Guatemalans, Mexicans, Peruvians, Bolivians or Ecuadorians looking for ingredients to make their local dishes.”
“In the sleepy little town of South River, who knew that you could find a treasure trove of authentic Portuguese restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. Cavaco Supermarket is known in town as the go-to Portuguese deli, grocery, and bakery. The shelves are even stocked with products imported from Portugal. On the front counter, you'll find a variety of fresh baked breads, codfish fritters and turnovers, pastries, as well as of course espresso. In addition, they are a churrasqueria and offer delicious BBQ chicken, served in a giant tray over rice and fries. Their pastries, such as their bola de berlim and pastel de nata I'm not too much of a fan of compared to other spots in town, but their chicken and codfish fritter was delicious and their fries are even fresh cut. Take a look at their various imported goods and merchandise and you'll certainly be surprised!”
“I have the duty to share this amazing Polish store discovered last weekend… I would have never expected to find Italian yummy snacks in this place! Biedronka looks like a small shop, but it’s pretty spacious. If you miss European items, such as: snacks, tea, with a small selection of cheeses… Also, you will find European detergents. Everything it’s at great prices. Please, check this place out. I truly enjoyed and I San pretty confident you will do, too.”

And while I haven't seen Eunice herself in years, her son has done an amazing job of keeping the place going.
