Went over to Sonny's after hearing from multiple people about his shop and was seriously impressed! I met Sonny himself and he was incredibly nice and friendly and helped me pick out some great meats for a backyard barbecue. I got some chicken legs, salmon, and a nice steak and they were all great quality and tasted delicious after grilling. The broccoli I got was also very crisp and fresh. Definitely the place to go for all your cookout needs and I'll be sure to come back!

So it was my first time visiting this place. I have been trying to find a meat market here in jersey for some time. So when I found Sonny’s on google I was excited. I went into the store and was surprised that I was the only person in the store. For a meat market it is exceptionally clean I will say that. However, he is extremely over priced and he says it’s because the meat is so fresh. WOMP WOMP WOMP. Just know I won’t be visiting again. The funny thing is another person was lookin for a meat market and I told her about it. I called her back and told her “don’t even bother “

Had my first visit to Sonny’s Meat Market today and was THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED! The establishment is SPOTLESS and extremely sanitary. Sonny helped me out and explained differences in meats. The customer service was excellent as well and service was given with a smile. Will definitely recommend to others.

The lamb shank was frozen solid, so definitely not the freshest of meat. Also I only bought a small portion (2 lbs) to test out the quality here, but of the 5-6 cut up pieces I got, at least 3 were totally inedible (just pure bone, or pure fat, zero meat). I was not shown the pieces or given the choice to pick, he just shoved them in a bag and weighed them. Only one actual piece of shank meat. He gave me the garbage portion he would not be able to sell otherwise. He deliberately did this, had these been in a grocery store no one would buy them. I definitely feel ripped off and will not be coming here again.
