ShopRite of Edison is a decent choice for groceries with a good selection and generally fair prices. The store can feel a bit average and lacks standout perks, with some noting cramped aisles and an odd layout that makes shopping inconvenient. It gets crowded during weekly sales. The produce is usually fresh. Experiences with staff and service vary. Many reviews mention that most staff, cashiers, and managers are friendly, helpful, patient, and comprise a great team. There are positive reports of excellent home delivery service where staff are super nice, pack orders carefully, and communicate well about substitutions. However, other experiences note that some customer service managers need to improve how they speak to customers, and there can be issues with unspoken policies, leading to descriptions of bad service. One reviewer mentioned disappointment that prepped meals like sushi are no longer discounted prior to expiration. Overall, it works fine for basic needs and can provide a very good, caring experience, but it is not particularly impressive as a standout destination.
Ir was a good visit, as always clean and not crowded, shelfs this time we're very fully stock as per last time some shelfs were empty but it's always good to stop for any grocery shopping

Go for the produce, the rest is nothing special. Like everywhere else, the prices are unsustainable.

Fine, but I wish they would keep their freezers at a decent temperature.
