Poor service and cigar products. Purchased 3 Tabak cigars from the cigar counter. Took them home and put them in my humidor. The next day, I took 1 out and noticed a crack at the base. 2nd one also had a crack at the base. 3rd was fine. This tells me that the humidity level is too low at their location. I went back that day notifying them I was sold 2 cracked cigars, and wanted to change them out for the same exact cigars, but uncracked one. They would not exchange them. Spoke to a manager, he would not exchange them. If I was sold a cracked cigar, shouldn't it be simple to swap out for healthy ones? Nope. Wouldn't do it. I get it if it was a month later. Or even if i bought a cigar, and wanted a different one. But this was the same exact one. So, at a cost of $15, you will lose a customer. Ok. You lost me and every neighbor I speak to.
If you look at my reviews, they're almost all good. I even try to find the good in average interactions. If you receive a bad one, you truly TRIED to get a bad one.

If I could give a 0 they deserve is it at the deli nasty attitude not only that but their mouth look pretty yuck talking over the meats ?.On top of that ask for bread and the guy who works there at night a complete jerk.

Out of all the shop rites that I have been to, this one is the worst. S. Plainfield, Livingston, Brielle are amazing. This one is a dump. Even the parking lot is horrific.The staff is great but the facility is awful. I am not sure why this particular one is so bad.

Never been to Shop Rite before but I'm surprised how much variety of products it holds. All the flowers looked fresh. Everything was stocked up nicely and orderly. The gentleman who rang up my groceries was really friendly.

if I could give zero stars I would! I will never again step foot in this store!!! the staff is horrendous. I would go here 2-5 times a week but no more! after observing the staff and then being harassed yesterday I'll drive further away to avoid this place. First, they have 2 regular registers open most days with the worst cashiers I've ever seen. They are slow and incompetent. The self checkout will have two people who talk to each other, ignore what's going on and have attitudes heaven forbid you need help. Then there's the manager I think (same voice you hear over the loudspeaker for ads, can't miss it) who walks around talking loudly to employees but doesnt look at the customers. Hes as arrogant as the day is long. Before I mention what happened yesterday, avoid the deli counter! There's one nice older lady who has a work ethic, the rest are slow like a sloth (painful to watch), can never find anything and punch the codes in wrong. Yesterday I was harassed at self checkout. There was no one on line, 3 self check outs open. I began scanning my items, bags set up to fill and a male worker comes up to me and tells me I need to go to a register because I have more than 20 items. I had just over 20 but I've done more than that quickly before. I'm quite proficient with self checkout now due to their incompetent cashiers. Anyway, I politely say no thank you that I'm already started and I'll remember that for the future. he then hovers over my shoulder, did not leave. wouldn't leave. I was ready to blow. He kept making comments about how they redid the software and now everything is messed up so it's only 20 items now. I told him that they need to open more registers then and hire competent cashiers to which he says "oh they're awful, I just bring a book to read while I wait". When the machine would beep as it does for me to put the item in the bag (usually clears itself out quickly) he would bump me out of the way to punch in his codes and say "see?". I've never had my personal space so violated. on top of that I'm disabled, recovering fromsurgery and am under the weather fighting a cold. Yet there he was not leaving me alone. do not go near this store. it's a waste of time. Go to Woodbridge, they have better produce anyway and much nicer and more competent staff. have a good day.

Worst shoprite ever. Nothing is ever in stock and the meat department looks and smells disgusting. I am also certain they pump the chicken with water to add weight/price. I only visit when I'm in a pinch.

The supermarket is great and also has a decent hot food counter as well as Asian food counter and sushi. The store is quite large and are currently making new updates. The staff is always friendly and helpful and there is ample parking. Easy to reach right off of Rt 1 and Old Post rd.

I really would like to particularly thank a pharmacist there named Jessica. She has been absolutely amazing. Not only is she kind, helpful and compassionate she works diligently and makes sure her customers the very best.It’s almost end of Nov and this entire year I’ve had nothing but downhill battles. Since I’ve been going there it’s always been a delight and wonderful experience. Thank you Jessica and ShopRite for always providing me with the best service and experience.

A good thing they added the self-checkout kiosks. During busy days or holiday rushes, checking out used to take much longer than it does lately.

This shoprite doesn't have it together. 9 out of 10 times when they leave the wrong price tag out, a grocery store would honor the price. I bought a case of water on sale for $16.99. It rings up $20.49 so I asked them to check. First the person checking it don't know where it is and cause a long line to form. And then he came back and told me and the cashier that the price tag was wrong and no longer on sale. I say for $3 difference just give it to the customer as it is customary when grocery store screw up on pricing. They didn't and the line was getting longer so said forget it and just pay for it. This shop rite is the only shop wrong in the area .. very disappointed as I am a long time shopper here.

This ShopRite is ridiculous!! They never have enough of ANYTHING in stock! The ShopRite From Home is a complete joke...I refuse to believe that they would pick the produce snd meat that I end up with for themselves or anyone else in their family. If I don't explicitly state that I don't want food that is bruised or overripe or downright gone bad...guess what I'm getting? Do I seriously need to tell anyone to not give me moldy fruit? If I could give less than 1 star I would! I understand that most employees are young but that should not be an excuse for laziness and poor service. Do better. Train better.

My family ordered shop from home on 11/16 we picked up the food when we got home they didn't give us all the frozen food, so we called and they said they would deliver it to our home on 11/17 between 6-7pm they still haven't came so my son calls and they tell him nobody from Door Dash wants to deliver it worse store I have ever shopped at.
