Bought a 2018clubman there a month ago. The people there were nice and helpful and patient. Special appreciation to Ashley, she answered everything for me before and after I bought the car. So far, everything has gone well with the car, they have been honest about the details of the car. Even though there was a little misunderstanding related to the car delivery service because I lived in another state. But everything else was perfect. (not a fake review! Highly recommend this store if you want to buy a Mini Cooper because I have seen a lot of tricks with small private dealers.

I recently purchased a car from MINI of Edison, and the experience has been frustrating and disappointing. After buying the car, I was given temporary plates and registration that were set to expire in one month. Despite repeated assurances from the dealership that my permanent plates and registration would arrive before the temporary ones expired, they did not follow through.
With one week left before the expiration, I started calling the dealership to express my concern. I was told not to worry and that they would overnight the package to ensure it arrived on time. Instead, on August 7, they chose to send the package via a cheap FedEx shipment, which, as of August 16, I still haven’t received. My temporary registration and plates expired on August 11, leaving me without a car for the past five days.
Neither FedEx nor MINI of Edison seems to take responsibility for this situation, and I’m left with no compensation or clear answers on when I will finally receive my plates. It’s unacceptable to be left stranded without a car due to such poor planning and lack of accountability. I expected better service from a dealership of this reputation and urge others to be cautious if they offer some after purchase service.

Enber was super helpful, patient and made the deal happen. Whole staff was wonderful. They even picked me up from Enterprise, because I had a rental to drop off. Think I’m officially a MINI girl! Thank you all! ??❤️

Beware! I would not trust this dealer to service your Mini. it was either gross incompetence or deliberate, take your pick. I’ve always serviced my car through the dealership, but I recently moved so this was my first interaction with this dealership. I was expecting a 50k miles service appointment, what I got was 10x ‘recommended’ service up charges. I declined the $3000 in additional services thinking I would get a second opinion. When I drove off the lot (after hours), I quickly realized there was a big problem with my brakes — they barely worked. Fine when I dropped it off, barely working when I picked it up.
I found out later (from another shop) that the vacuum line to my brakes was disconnected, rendering my brakes nearly non functional. When I called the dealership, they were hostile and told me that I had “refused service,” on the brakes so what should I expect if the brakes weren’t working. They also insisted they never touched the brakes. That was followed by a second call from a ‘manager’ to tell me that my third party assessment didn’t sound plausible, but they would “look into it”
I will never use this dealership again! Highly suspect!! The kicker to the story is that my local shop, said no need to replace the brakes ( which work fine ) and to come back in another 10k miles or if the service light comes on. Also, they didn’t charge me to reconnect the vacuum line.

Ashley and her team were great at guiding me through the process of getting my first car (and my first MINI!). They are very quick and were happy to explain anything plus field all of my questions. I would recommend them if you're looking to get a MINI.

MINI of Edison is the greatest car buying experience in the world! My wife and I purchased our first MINI on 6/29/2024. Our salesperson (Ashley) was friendly, helpful and professional. Thanks Ashley! We came in with an established budget, specific MINI we wanted and our goals we met. Henry the valet, provided us with door-to-door and door-to-train trips while we finished finalizing the the paperwork. Thanks Henry! We highly recommend MINI of Edison!

I had an exceptional experience with the service department at Mini of Edison. The team was incredibly professional and went above and beyond to communicate effectively with me about the status of my car. Special shoutout to Service Advisor Rachel and Service Manager Thoa for their outstanding support and accommodation during my particular predicament. This Edison Shop is really customer oriented. I called them with a flat on Run flat tires, panicking that I didn't want to drive long distances with the bad tire. The woman in service was phenominal. Attentive, knowledgable and understood I needed immidiate service. She was a God Send, took care of me right away, mde sure they had the right tire for my car and got me going.

I called ahead to make sure the vehicle I was interested in was still available; when I arrived, Ashley had pulled it up front ready for me to see. Ashley was so friendly and listened to my situation and answered all of my questions. Service was relaxed, open and seamless. I even had a rental car and Ashley arranged to have it returned to the local branch for me. I appreciated the calm and the honesty and highly recommend Mini of Edison for their service and welcoming atmosphere. I had a great experience and am very happy with the vehicle I purchased.

I purchased my first ever car from MINI of Edison. My family and I had a very pleasant and smooth experience with the purchase of the car. Ashley, was very very kind and knowledgeable and always ready to help whenever I had a question. She was there to guide me and my dad through the whole process. :)

Very dishonest dealer. If they don't have a listed car ready the day you call, just walk away.
Their typical lines:
"It's getting checked again. The person who picked up the phone didn't know."
"We found something wrong and need to fix it."
"It's in detail right now." (still looks filthy and had to go to "detail" again)
Like another review said, all "false promises and lies."

Bought BMW X5 from them about 20 days ago , so the sales man Mr. Hernandez was very helpful and through out the process he was above and beyond. Even after taking car home felt there was issue with breaks called them went back service advisor Miss Rachel was also very helpful she took care of the issue right away with out any hesitation. Highly recommended place of buying car used or new I can tell they do care about customers and that’s how every dealership should be. Thank you for both them helping out in every way possible to make this purchase smooth.
