I'm a long time customer of GPS. I started to use this branch because I have a project around that area.
I pay about $25-$26 for exchanging Nitrogen tank, size 40.
Last Saturday, store charged me about $50 a tank.
I think this was the last time I would shop there.

huge store, good selection. horrible service. ordered 5 faucets, showers, etc for ~6k. they had missing parts that they refuse to take back. took ~3 months for an elbow to arrive! once it had arrived, GPS wanted to charge me again! for a part that I had already paid for and was 3 months late. a bunch of thugs.... never again.

UPS lost my package, General Plumbing Supply refused to refund the lost package. Extremely disappointing, I let my contractor and the Kohler Store know about this experience.

Do not purchase from here... You cannot return anything for any reason they make it so hard you just wanna rip your head off... The phone calls are unreturned for many days... If you get a phone call and you miss it... Forget it you called back and the recording says three days... Which of course this psycho continues... I finally got someone on the phone who said we sent you a call slip to return your things... They absolutely positively did not send me anything to return anything... And the meantime I'm stuck with a little under $1000 with goods... With no possibly to to it no nobody the phone excethe

Poor customer service. The delivery personnel is extremely unprofessional. The drop your new purchased item on the curb. I guess for the garbage people.The item was defective and it took months for help.I returned one of two items purchased and it took several months and emails to get my money back.I would never want to buy from them again.

Worset place ever. Service bad. Materials expensive. No respect for contractors, they display they cater to contractors but they serve homeowners first. Sad going thier was a mistake

Scott, Lori, Marybeth and Holly were amazing and patient. Took time to design a beautiful and functional kitchen for us. They explained a variety of options available including cabinetry, sinks, faucets, countertops, etc. Fun to work with-highly recommend!

General Plumbing Supply is our best supplier, best deadline and have everything I need in stock.Kudos to Kathryn (Edison) because she is awesome! I cannot describe in just one review how she is. She is ALWAYS willing to help us, even when I bother her with my broken english! I told her once: she must launch costumer service classes around NJ!Is evident her passion for her job and her costumers. This totally makes the difference. I hope these compliments reach her and her manager and then she gets recognition, because it's very important, since when it's to say bad things, we all do, but when it's to praise, we shut up.OPEN YOUR EYES, GPS! IF I COULD I WOULD STEAL HER AND HIRE IN MY COMPANY!

I visited GPS Edison on Saturday, June 4th. We are remodeling our kitchen and I was hoping to purchase from a knowledgeable supplier that would guide me through the confusing decision-making process. I walked around the showroom for more than 10 minutes without a whisper of attention from any associates. There was another customer at the time who had one associate's full attention, yet I remained unacknowledged by two that were seated behind the counter/desk area. When I was finally approached, I stated that I was shopping for a kitchen faucet and a shower head. Out of the many on display, the associate only showed me two, and seemed unmotivated to provide me with the most basic customer service. I then moved the conversation toward the two faucets I was considering. He was slack in his demeanor and was not willing to offer any features that would distinguish the two faucets apart. Frustrated, I asked him how much the faucets would cost. When the cost of one was revealed to be more than double the cost of the other, he was not able to offer any meaningful explanation why. At that point, I felt disrespected and unvalued as a potential customer. Disgusted with this treatment, I left.I have no idea why the other customer would receive so much attention and why I was treated so unwelcomingly. I always prefer to shop local and support brick-and-mortar businesses. This interaction sent me straight to Amazon where I was able to read reviews and learn what I was denied by this business.

I am redoing two bathrooms in my home and my contractor recommended I go to General Plumbing Supply. First, let me say the showroom is really nice, not what I was expecting from the name, and I can’t imagine that they don’t have everything you can possibly need. I was fortunate enough to work with David Spritzer. He was just so nice and truly helpful. He was patient and assisted me every step of the way. I explained what I wanted and he worked with me to ensure that I was leaving with everything I needed. He reviewed and explained my order with me. He took his time and didn’t rush and I absolutely appreciated that as I went in not sure of some things. Dave set up an account for me so now I can call and he’ll know what I need. So a big shout out to David and General Plumbing Supply. I would totally recommend this business.

We give Scott Pashaian and the staff at GPS in Edison the highest review possible. Scott's knowledge is just incredible. It is such a pleasure to work with him as he is a true professional who guides you with a steady hand and sound advice. First we remodeled our Master Bath and look forward to renovating our country kitchen. GPS is much so more than plumbing fixtures! Check them out!

Thanks to Marybeth and Brittany last Saturday. I was shocked to have Marybeth recognize recognize me and that although she was busy with a customer at the time, she had previously written up an order for me that Brittany walked me through and got me out of the store with. I couldn't be more pleased with the service, efficiency and quality of GPS.We have used Marybeth in the past for major remodels that all worked out great. I had to text my wife that Marybeth took great care of us (me) again and that she is a consummate pro. Marybeth if you see this review, the shower head and hardware you picked out is amazing. Bravo!

I purchased from the Union store, but could not find a yelp page for Union. Recently affected by Hurricane IDA, GPS came through in time of need with a water heater when approached easily and respectfully. Few days went by and found that I bought the wrong water heater and had to request for returning the water heater. When calling them, I was met with "This is not a Home Depot, we won't take it back, call the Edison store maybe they will take it back." After numerous conversations back and forth about returning an unopened, originally packaged water heater, I was finally able to get an agreement to return it with a 10% restocking fee. There was a lot of concern over returning a water heater that was never opened and more poor customer service then I expected from them. Ended up paying $200 for something I never got to use. According to "Restocking fees are not charged in most cases. Exceptions may include general returns for special order or discontinued items, and any orders that receive customer negotiated discounts. Items shipped via LTL must be pre-approved prior to return and the customer will be responsible for all return freight." Apparently I fell into the small percentage of folks who did not qualify for the no restocking fee because why? Careful doing business here, they can be nasty and prey on the victims of a hurricane.

As a consumer I had to reach out to GPS in Edison today because the original plumbing contractor did not do his job properly. This was time consuming and beyond what a homeowner should have to go through. My first encounter at GPS was Katryn who was professional and polite. She got everything I needed set up for new plumbers to go ahead with the change out of water heaters.. I must say I wasn't expecting this as customer service these days is poor or non existent. She/GPS turned this nightmare of a water heater re-install into a perfectly coordinated experience. Thank you Kathryn/GPS
