Kovid is a wonderful and patient guy. His product also really good. His lights are what everyone loved about our house. Every chandelier and fixture is from his store. In the Edison area, he’s the best light showroom.

This company is a scam, DO NOT BUY. They operate under several different company names all associated with the same phone number and address. 'DECOR PRICE' 'DESIGNER LIGHTING AND FANS' & 'LIGHTING SELECTION'
I purchased a fan that arrived damaged. I sent photos of the damage and was told my replacement parts would be shipping out soon. After 3 plus weeks of daily calls and emails with no resolution, I finally googled and found LOADS of stories just like mine.
As of today, I'm told they accidentally shipped the replacement blades to the wrong customer and I must wait for that customer to receive and return them before they can be sent to me. We all know that Fedex can reroute packages so this further contributes to the LIES.
If I return the damaged product, I am told that I am responsible for shipping costs.
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Terrible Experience, Poor Customer Service
We had an awful experience with this company. The customer service was shockingly poor, and they made it nearly impossible to process returns. It was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Terrible customer service, Mass confusion within the inside teams. Their pricing might be a little better but I would suggest going somewhere else because if you ever need any assistance they are of zero help. They will do whatever they can to take your money but when you need help they will stiff you. Their customer service is also incredibly rude, combative, and I had one agent actually raise their voice to me. It's absolutely unacceptable, there are too many other reputable places to do business

I ordered five fixtures in March 2024. Three arrived without issue. The other two I was told would be on backorder until June 4th. I contacted the company to say that I would like to cancel, as I had no information about where the lights were, nor did I have time for my project to wait any longer. They insist on now telling me they are on backorder until July, and every time I ask for a cancellation and refund, that is all I get. This is simply unacceptable.

Stay away! This company is awful. Dealt with Max via email/phone and he was beyond rude and unwilling to help with anything. I was informed that two lights I ordered were backordered and would ship in 3 weeks (listed as in stock when placing the order). I was told I could cancel the order, so I did. Unfortunately, the manufacturer still shipped the lights and I have to obtain/pay for shipping labels to send them back.
wow, calling me a liar is uncalled for and a complete lack of professionalism. Yes, I requested the cancelation on 2/28 on the basis that the item wouldn't be shipping until early March:
Thank you for shopping with us. We wish to inform you that item Generation Lighting 8313902EN3-12 is under production and estimated to ship by early March.

Salesperson, who is a man, is a scam artist. Rude and gas lighted me even though they sold me the wrong item. They would not accept responsibility for sconce, even though they'd promised me that the item was exactly the same except for the color. Even though the item was discontinued several years earlier. Not interested in doing business again. Do not purchase from here.

I cancelled an order in a timely manor. Never picked up the merchandise. After disputing the charge with my credit card company, the vendor falsely accused me of picking up the order. If I could rate them “0”, no star, I would. I believe in Karma.

My mother bought 3 fans (I was there too) and we were beyond satisfied with the experience that was had. The owner is very friendly and really just a good person. She had some issues with one of the fans and the owner, without hesitation, took it back and replaced it with a new one. My mother also had an issue with the replacement (this is on the company who made the fan and absolutely not on this owner) and again he took it back without hesitation and replaced it with a different model. Every aspect of our experience was amazing. We highly recommend this business.

I was never here, but after reading all the negative reviews I guess I'm going to Capital lighting. It's ashame as I need many fixtures for a new build, and with these reviews I've decided not to shop here.

I was extremely impressed with the care and information provided by the owner without any pressure to buy anything. He helped us select amazing fixtures for our home including 2 chandliers, wall sconces and ceiling fans. He even was honest when he didn't have an item we wanted and offered suggestions from other vendors just to make sure we got what we wanted. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for amazing lights and fixtures for their home.
