This is the BUSIEST Costco I have ever been to. DO NOT recommend going here anytime on the weekends because it is just a HUGE headache waiting to happen. No one can move, everyone is in the aisles like sardines. The checkout line goes all the way to the back of the store.

Costco often has great products. However, this new policy around checking for membership cards slows down the check out process. Costco has always been a mad house. But it's worse now with longer lines and the constant need to prove that you are a member with YOUR card even if part of a household. I get it but a better system is needed.

It's great for wholesale groceries purchase. Very fast service. It's too much crowded so not safe to shop inside in pick hours time. Their gas price is always best in market. Lots of parking ? spots available. I highly recommend to visit between Monday to Thursday because Friday, Saturday and Sunday always crazy busy. This location also serve car tyer and batteries too.

This costco is very crowded. While they offer more products such as liquor and beer, they are over packed with things. They have some of the isles blocked off by the registers, so if there is a line, which there always is; there's no way to get through unless you turn around-the-clock and then you're getting in everyone else way behind you. I love when they get holiday stuff in. The staff this week was super friendly and excited to see my happy children causing chaos in the store..

My recent Costco Edison purchase of USDA Choice beef chunk short rib bone-in slices on 11/11 was disappointing. Unpacking it at home just half an hour later revealed spoilage by the sell-by date, evident from an unmistakable odor persisting for several days. Notably, a discrepancy in the pack dates emerged – a sticker beneath the sell-by one indicated 11/9 as the pack date, conflicting with the 11/11 date on top. This situation raises concerns about the accuracy of pack dates and the sale of deteriorated meat. Upon reporting this to the store, the customer representative suggested a refund, missing the point of addressing and preventing such misconduct. To my dismay, the representative hung up while I was expressing my concern. Very disappointing.

I was parked outside the Edison store and a man who works there approached my car and hit the car roughly because he wanted me to move. I have a 5 year old boy with autism and a 2 month old baby in my car. I told the man “don't hit the car again, talk to me and ask me to move” and he was in a rude attitude and saying that he hadn't done anything wrong. Then another woman who worked there and a manager (or so it seemed) of the two of them came out to talk to me, the man automatically changed his attitude and the woman who was with him began to defend him and say that what I was saying was not true. Look if you are working with people and you CANNOT TALK to people nicely and you see that a client is complaining about a situation and you DENY everything that happened. As if saying “go home” don't work with people / with the public / in a supermarket anymore. You just apologize and that's it because you're not at home, you're working for a brand. You never know the car you are hitting and being rude what kind of children or people with special needs may have inside because you are wearing a supermarket brand t-shirt not on the corner of your house. EVERY WEEK we went to Costco in Edison. We will not go again because we felt attacked, we complained about a situation and the attitude was “go home”. We have been Costco customers for 4 years. WE WILL NOT GO AGAIN

Just prepare to face a crowd whenever you're heading to this place. I recommend going on a weekday - parking is less hectic and the lines aren't so long. I love to buy in bulk for my family since the items we buy here last us for months.
