Jason at the Costco Tire Center was extremely helpful in teaching me about the different tires, including which ones were on discount and which he would recommend. This initial process went smoothly until the tires arrived.
I’m docking one star from my review due to what happened next. After scheduling my appointment for 2:30 PM, I made sure to arrive a bit early to drop off my car. I highly recommend going with a friend or family member and just leaving your car instead of waiting around. My tire change wasn’t finished until 5:30 PM, and it didn’t even go into the garage until around 4:30 PM. Shouldn’t my appointment have been set for 4:30 PM instead of 2:30 PM? Based on other reviews, it seems this is a common issue. If Costco could adjust their appointments to allow for more buffer time, I believe this place would definitely deserve five stars!
Returning to the tire change, Jason was once again extremely helpful when I picked up my car. He pointed out that two end caps were broken (thanks for explaining what those are!) and noted other issues, such as scratches on my car. He also informed me to come back after 25 miles for a retorque and encouraged me to stop by if I encounter any issues. Thanks again for the great customer service, Jason!

Was quoted two hours for a tire rotation and waited over 3.5 hours without a call that the car was ready awhile ago.

Very bad customer service in this tire center. Installation of the wheels purchased with the tires were not done. No accountability at all for the disservice.
We made an appointment in the Costco Tire Center in Edison for tire and wheel installation We then ordered tires and wheels also in Costco for all 4 wheels of our car. Note that, we specifically said in the add on service: wheel installation. Wheels are only delivered to your home, so we made sure we had it on our appointment date which was yesterday. We brought the car and the wheels on the appointed day and when we were called by Elvis, we specifically said that there is wheel installation also, where he said that it is already in the system.
When it was time to pick up the car, the tire was changed but the wheels were not. We mentioned to Elvis that the wheels that were inside the car were not installed. At this point he looked at the computer, and he saw and mentioned that both tires and wheels were bought in the same order number. Our patience was running low and asked if we could just get a refund. He then called someone to ask for the refund process without even offering to install the wheels. He would rather lose the sale than give the customer his due service. In addition to this, when the person on the other line asked the reason for the refund, he answered that we don’t want it anymore. Mind you, it was because of their team’s inefficiency that we came to this decision.

Sharing some important information for who wants to come this Edison tire center . Do not come here please! Please! It’s really wasted your time there. My appointment was 11:30 today, I was here a little bit before 11:30 and guess what? I am still here. Came back to the tire center after 2:30 pm because i never get call from them. They don’t even put car in yet. After take with their manager, he told me they just put my car in. And I have to wait 1 hour or a hour and half to finish it. Really? Yes, or you can reschedule it. Are you kidding me, I am really waste my time for 3 hours waiting. I don’t want to come second time, so decide to wait. 3:45 pm and they tell me that I still have to wait 30 to 45 minutes to finish it. Just replace tires, I don’t understand why it takes so long. If I don’t push them more than 3 times already, I guess my car may still waiting outside forever. First, they should call their customer if they are have short hand, or there is a long line waiting. Their website site should not post that much available time for their customers if they can’t service it.

Got 4 new tires and while I was driving the low tire pressure alert came on . Once I got home I saw they didn’t put no air on my 4 tires at 15 psi .

Came for tire Rotation. Appointment at 7:00 PM , already 9:00 PM still waiting for the car to be picked up.
My 2 hours are way more valuable than the 15% these guys are saving me. Same is the case with costco memberships … you are paying to be in Line for every customer service , product purchase.

Bought 4 brand new tires, 2 months later i get a flat and one of the guys tells me they can’t fix it because the nail was on the edge line and they couldn’t offer any warranty on a tire that was bought 2 months ago when i spent over a thousand dollars for all 4 tires. Ridiculous

I used to swear by Costco TIre Service but no more. After ordering tires on-line, making multiple phone calls to set up appointment, finally to be told that it will take 1.5-2 hrs which ended up being 3.5 hrs. They also scratched my rim with the power wrench.

You can make appointments ahead of time then shop while your car is being serviced. Convenient & reliable.

Rude, slow service. “Kevin” was rude, caustic, and dismissive. He seemed annoyed that I was asking why it had taken over four hours to patch a nail hole that he said would take 2-3 hours (which is ridiculous to begin with).Taking all my business elsewhere than Costco.

If I could give zero stars I would. I am a new member to Costco. I heard such great things about their tire center so I decided to bring my car in for new tires. I was very disappointed in the service and will never come back. I had an appointment at 5:15. When I made the appointment they told me it would take an hour. It took over 3 and half hours. It is almost 9 pm and I finally got my car. My car was not taken in until about 7:30. This is horrible service and something should be done. I urge you to not come here for any servicing.
