DO NOT RENT HERE! SCAM ALERT!!!!!! Please trust the reviews and save yourself the time, money and aggravation and rent from somewhere else, like UHAUL that is two blocks away from this disgusting Budget location.Multiple Problems:1. They messed up our reservation. We had two reservations for one day a week apart. When we showed up for the first reservation, they gave us the car for the reservation of the following week and charged us two $75 no show fees for the car we had reserved for THAT DAY. We didn't realize until the next week when we were told we had already picked up that reservation.2. They ALSO charged us for two days instead of one when we returned the car before closing on the same day claiming we brought it back the next morning. WHAT A SCAM!3. The car was filled with garbage. Fast food leftovers, napkins, and plastic bags filled the cab.4. They leered at my teenage daughter.5. Two different customer service agents hung up on me after a total of 2 hours of trying resolve the mistakes (purposeful) that were made at this Budget location.Do yourself a favor, go to UHAUL. They were professional, caring and upgraded us to a larger truck for free. No hassles, no leering. Refreshing. Still waiting for my refunds to appear in my bank account. Update pending if/when refund is received.

Disgusted I even have to leave one star to write this review! The owner is truly one of the most I'll-mannered, discourteous men I've even encountered. His staff follow his lead in rudeness. Please be advised WORST RENTAL AGENCY out there!!! They lure you in with an online reservation, only to get there and have nothing available. While waiting, I observed his unpleasant behavior with 3 other customers as well! He couldn't care less. Atrocious!!! It pays to read reviews, the negative reviews here for this establishment are plentiful. Best to find another location.

This place deserves no stars. Start with the rental they gave me initially, I was driving away when I noticed the hood was unlatched. I had to pull over and close it properly. I also noticed the sluggish transmission so I returned it and requested a replacement. Naturally I was pissed and let it be known. The gentleman who identified as the owner got offended although I was the one at risk. If I didn't need the rental for business meetings I would have sought another company, in hindsight I will have to do just that in the future. To add insult to Injury the dude said he was taking 10% off the bill which he did not do. I think the owner should find some competent help, he seemed overwhelmed. Judge for yourself

If I could give this a negative one I would. Went there this morning and they did not have our vehicle reserved. As we pulled in we saw police officers go in with a dispute from the customer that also was having problems. The staff has no clue what is going on. What’s the point of making a reservation if they don’t even hold it for you.

PLEASE STAY AWAY from this Budget rental location! The previous reviews are true. Too bad my situation forced me to rent at this branch due to a time crunch and the online reservation said my cargo van was only available at this branch. When I arrived at 10:00AM to pick up my cargo van, to my horror it was not available due to "maintenance/oil change." The vehicle should have been ready the night before or at least ready early that morning. No other cargo vans were available at any other locations either for the same day. The owner/operator of the location was rude, condescending and no apologies were given. He even went as far to argue with me and tell me"if you don't like it, then call customer service to complain." He then exited the building after I said I am going to report him to headquarters and made him write his name on a business card. He disappeared for quite a while and then he drove off in his SUV. The employee helped me on the phone with customer service by getting me into a larger box truck (which I could not drive in the GSP!) and more money per mile! I was not given the internet special nor was I compensated in any way. The interior of the truck was filthy with broken glass shards, spilled soda sticky stains, and the oil change sticker read it was overdue on an oil change by 30,000 miles. I felt gross in the filthy cabin of the truck and worried about the overdue/dirty oil! The truck already was pushing over 160,000 miles at the time of rental. My entire morning was wasted arguing with the owner operator of branch and on the phone with customer service. The moving company was to arrive at my house to help move items in the morning, but I was late due to this Budget's location incompetence! What a nightmare situation and I'm still in shock with the owner's behavior and lack of responsibility and no apologies on his part.

Do yourself a favour, and rent from some place else! I tried to rent a car from here over the weekend. Less than 2 hours before the rental pick-up, when I was already on the NJ Transit train to get here, the manager calls me up to tell me that I shouldn't waste my time trying to get there as they won't have one available when I reach! At this point, I've already left home, and have an entire weekend of things I needed to do, and am stuck in the middle of New Jersey without the car! So, like every other review on this page, take the manager's recommendation and don't waste your time booking with Budget here!

Don't do it!! This location is horrible!! This is the 2nd time I have rented a vehicle through them and the 2nd time they did not have a vehicle for me when I arrived at the location. Customer service forget it!! And then had the nerve to charge me a higher rate for the vehicle they did have. The car that I was able to get was filthy and the nob to shift the mirrors is broken I would tell anyone to rent from Enterprise hands down.

REnted a car from here, I wish I read the review before hand but it was my husband who made arragements. The car was parked in weeds atleast 5 feet tall, dirty, the office was dirty, service slow & the car had ticks. Talk about skeved out. DO yourself a favor stay away from this place.

Too bad I didn't read these reviews before reserving. I reserved a 16' moving truck online in June. I estimated I would have it for 20 hours. The website says 24 hours for xx price. I returned it the next day, 22.5 hours later. First, the staff couldn't find my reservation. Not in the computer, not in the paper pile next to the computer. They tried for half an hour and then said they'd have to call me/email me with a receipt, because they couldn't check me in because they don't have a record of the truck being checked out. When I finally got a copy of the receipt (a month and 5 phone calls later), there was a $25.33 charge for late return. I called Budget office and they said I had to call an 800 number. I called Budget Customer Service and the woman said she refunded the money directly to my debit card. Never happened. Rent from someone else! It's worth the extra.

Think making a reservation means something? Not here! Don't bother. Spend your money somewhere else with integrity and decent customer service. Employees do not even attempt to show that they care a little.

I had left something in a car I rented and called to see if they could just mail it back (it was not a big item - could fit in a manila envelope). They would not. I mentioned I was a frequent FastBreak customer and they said they weren't required. I get that but I would think to keep me loyal, they might take that extra effort. I found out they were a franchisee and not under direct authority of the parent. Based on the other posts here, I'm surprised the parent still allows them to franchise their brand (it definitely made me rethink whether to continue to use Budget).
