Good store . We like the range of clothes here . A little pricey but some of the products are good .. we generallly tend to buy mens clothing here . Not much of discounts when we went . Service and billing could be better and faster . Overall a good store … conveniently located inside Menlo Park mall. Parking is a bit of an issue on weekends and evening times . Lots of eateries next to this shop.

It used to be a great location. Now they change their COVID-19 protocols on a day-to-day basis and use them to cover unrelated things. I tried to return two pairs of jeans that did not fit, exact same size fit and color each. Because one had the tags and the other did not, they only allowed me to return one due to “COVID-19”. How one has anything to do with the other is totally beyond me, but to not even offer me store credit so I could just purchase a different pair is stupid and unreasonable on their part, much like their fitting room policies. Like I said, the COVID policies change day-to-day at this place, including whether they let you use the fitting rooms. If you make the mistake of visiting them on a day where it’s closed, they basically tell you that it’s your own problem; you have to try them on at home and God help you if they don’t fit because you probably won’t get far if you try to return them. You know it’s a terrible experience when you’re ready to shop at Kohl’s instead.

If I could rate it 0 stars I would, but the so-called manager who looks like she is in high school by the way, would not accept my return even though I had the receipt and the tags. She claims I wore it so much but I only tried it ONCE cuz the fitting rooms were closed. NEVER coming back!

This store is by far the worst store. American eagle should be ashamed and maybe get the high school managers out of there. I will not be back, and I have contacted the appropriate parties to file complaints. I didn’t even get your name, but you will be getting fired when I’m done. You were extremely rude and disrespectful. Not only did one employee tell me I could get store credit, but when the 16 year old “manager” came over, she laughed in my face, said she wasn’t going to do the return because I didn’t have the tag for the item. Who keeps tags? Nobody. I had my receipt. I spend over $5,000 at American Eagle per year and have the American Eagle credit card statements to prove it. Again I will not be back, and you should be ashamed. Maybe train your employees to have more manners, or get them out of there. This is also the only store in the mall where the employees aren’t wearing masks.

Visited this location on Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, and I was shocked about the customer service I received here... and I don't mean that in a good way. The "manager" working was so rude and refused to help an employee with my transaction... so disappointing. A simple cash return turned into a big fuss. Avoid this location and their unprofessional managers... sympathy to those working there.

The store is disorganized and when I asked an associate if there was an Aerie she told me there wasn’t an Aerie in this mall. Come to find out there is one on the upper level and it’s an open location unlike other stores that closed down. I like Aerie clothes better so I left thinking I couldn’t get what I was looking for. That’s horrible customer service; I love American Eagle but because of that incident plus the unnecessarily long line with 4 associates on the floor and a disorganized store, I’m rating 3 stars.
