Just paid $73 for the worst gel mani & regular pedi in my life. Didn’t completely soak off the gel I had on previously, blotchy color application, luke warm reception and no massage. No one greeted thank you or good bye. This place is tidy but outdated and needs major sanitation upgrades.

Herida Xiomara gave me an excellent spa pedicure during which she patiently removed the desert-dry skin off my hard and cracked heels and the deeply-embedded ingrown toe nails from each side of my big toes. I had the Spa 1 pedicure which includes callus and dead skin removal, a moisturising and exfoliating scrub, warm crystal gel bead moisturising soak, a cucumber mask, a foot and calf massage with essential oils and hot stones plus ingrown toe nail removal as well as the cleaning, trimming and shaping toe nails and cuticles. I also had a manicure but l cannot recall the name of the lady who trimmed and cleaned as well as filed my fingernails and who trimmed my cuticles. The services at this nail salon are on the pricey side at $72 for the Spa 1 pedicure. However, considering how fresh, clean and relaxed l felt after receiving the manicure and, particularly, the pedicure, l would have to say you really get your money's worth from the services provided at this salon! I highly recommend it!

I went for a pedicure. I have gone before this was one week prior to surgery on a bunion so foot surgery. I am elevating my foot and or anabiotic praying that the infection I have in my great toe called a paronychia. will go away. This was induced by the person doing the pedicure or cutting my skin. I felt it nip and then I worried about infection. I will never go back to her. I don’t know about the salon, but she obviously doesn’t know about infection precautions such as don’t cut the skinService: Pedicure

I got 2 toe infections after getting a pedicure (my first and only trip here) at this nail salon. I went back to let them know and one of the techs actually laughed. Really terrible overall.

Got a gel mani/pedi and gel ma I for my mom for her birthday and my sister. Total came to $140. I had to ask twice because I was so shocked. The technician in charge tried to explain the price breakdown. 40 for gel mani, 40 for gel mani+40 for pedi, 20 for gel added to pedi and 10 for a foot scrub. I think she wa stroking out numbers because getting gel pedi shouldn't cost more to add the gel. I didn't tip because I felt over charged, which was annoying.

Nails Emporium is my favorite salon in this area (Edgewater & surrounding towns). They do an amazing job every single time, their prices are fair, and the establishment is clean and comfortable. I came here two weeks ago with my good friend. We had a great time getting our nails done. I came back today and it is nice. I was able to walk right in (again) and sit down. The color options they have are very nice.Someone wrote a review saying the prices were over priced but for a gel manicure in hoboken I almost paid $90. Here they charge $40 for gel. At the end of the day you’re just getting your nails done. This spot is perfect for a regular gel manicure and pedicure.My nails are short so the photo doesn’t do justice because she had no nail to work with … together we had a good laugh about her asking if I wanted to keep the same “length” ?.I just moved to Edgewater and found my nail spot.Service: Manicure

Highly recommend, 5+ stars! Nails Emporium is always immaculate, their prices are very reasonable, and it’s super spacious so you never feel cramped. The staff are kind, efficient, and always accommodating. They have a wide variety of offerings and amazing nail polish colors to choose from. I moved to the area a few years ago, and finding a new go-to nail salon was a high priority. I have been going to the Hair and Nail Emporium for over 23 years. The salon is very clean and has a refreshingly friendly and comfortable vibe; relaxed, focused and accommodating. I used to get gel Manicures here. NEVER AGAIN! They made my nails brittle and weak. The way they remove the gel nail polish damaged my nails so badly that I haven’t been able to grow them out. Easy to say I will not be returning to this business. I don’t care how convenient and close it is to my home. I will go else where for better service.
