Mitsuwa Marketplace - New Jersey offers a wide variety of fresh, safe, and reliable Japanese grocery products, unique appliances, and a selection of cosmetics. The large food court features authentic Japanese cuisine, including sushi, sashimi, bento, ramen noodles, and donburi, as well as a liquor store selling Japanese beer, sake, whiskey, and wine. The marketplace also houses a bookstore full of anime-related goods and kawaii-themed products, a Japanese bakery, a confectionery store, a café with matcha sweets and beverages, and a high-quality chocolate store. Customers can enjoy exciting weekend events at the marketplace. While the grocery items and salty snacks are praised as authentic, the food court has received mixed reviews, with some finding it lacking in taste and cleanliness. The store caters to the local community, offering a wide range of Japanese and Korean goods, and is a popular destination for its ube soft serve.
Good shipping environment… My daughter loves shopping there for Japanese snacks; just a little pricey 🤭

The cleanliness of the Japanese market is exactly like Japan. The market prices are a bit expensive, and the Royce chocolates I bought in the store are about 2.3 times more expensive than those I bought in Japan.

I always get my Japanese grocery items here. Especially the salty snacks are authentic. For Korean items I would go to hmart. I would not recommend the food court. It just does not taste good and the seating areas are not clean.
