Mathew was fantastic. My frames crack from hard use while traveling on the east coast and I just dropped into the local Lens Crafters without an opt and he quickly switch out my eyeglass lenses into a new set of frames! Thanks Matthew!

I had my first appointment with this location in September. During that appointment, there were a series of required exams including Optomap that needed to be done. This is a new way to examine the retina and can see 200 degrees field of view of the retina. The standard of care is a dilated eye exam and sees 240 degrees. This location requires that you pay extra for the sub-optimal care. No problem I paid it.During my visit, my clinician gave me a lower contacts prescription than what I'd worn for years and says that my current one is "too high" and does not match her exam. No problem, perhaps my eyesight had improved? I came back and took the trial lens with the lower prescription, tried it and realized how dangerous this was as I could not drive on unfamiliar roads on the highway. I couldn't read the signs until I was too close to the exit.I came back to have a followup and was informed that because it had been more than 30 days since my last exam, that the store policy is that I repeat the eye exam, plus the Optomap again. LOL what? Someone's prescription can change within 30 days? Why not have everyone do an eye exam every 30 days then for new prescription? I was confused by this because the odds of a young 30 year old without diabetes or hypertension developing retinal disease in 30 days is also low. If this was medically necessary, insurance will pay for it and the national clinical agencies will require retinal exams every 30 days. This was a silly policy that I was not informed about prior to paying it the initial visit nor have I ever heard another office require this. I chose to not continue with the appointment because the money gauging for inappropriate medical reasons was unlikely to stop there. They could have just given me the correct prescription from my first visit and I wouldn't have needed to have so many visits and missed days from work only to have a prescription that is useless because its dangerous. I am frustrated as I've taken now 3 days off of work for this issue that has remained unsolved.Sigh, time to start looking for another location.

I called today to make an appointment for annual eye exam. They asked about my insurance, took my information and told me if you are not in network we will let you know. I came to the store, I gave them my insurance again, they checked it and then they did the eye exam. After the exam, they charged me for $70 and they told me they are not in network with my insurance. But my insurance covers free annual eye exams. When I asked the staff they had such a bad attitude. I witnessed someone else had the same problem and she was shocked too. It is unacceptable and I pursue this from my bank to dispute the charge. You just lost one of your customers.

My appointment with Dr. Brooke was phenomenal. She takes her time to thoroughly examine your eyes and listens to any questions or concerns you might have. Very pleasant staff and explained everything so well. The staff at the LensCrafters was also very helpful, they assisted with helping me choose my new frame and very friendly. Highly recommend!
