I recently entrusted Eco friendly cleaners, Edgewater with my Canada Goose winter jacket, which I had only used for three months. Given the high value of this jacket, I expected professional and careful handling. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and costly.
Upon receiving my jacket back, I immediately noticed that the fabric color had faded significantly. The vibrant, original color was now dull and patchy in several areas. Additionally, the fabric condition itself had deteriorated; it felt rough and worn out, a stark contrast to its previous soft and durable texture.
This damage is unacceptable, especially considering the short period I had used the jacket and the premium price of professional dry cleaning services. I brought this issue to their attention, but the response was less than satisfactory. They blame me for the damages, front desk women even shouted on me. They said that that its' not a damage, but normal situation. Instead of offering a remedy or compensation, I was met with excuses, lack of accountability and manners. When I requested the manager the men who pretended or truly didn't speak english language appeared and started to speak with women but not with me and after 5 min without a saying any word he disappeared. They returned me 37 dollars for dry cleaning service but only after I told her that I will dispute transaction on my credit card. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Hello, as we explained when you came in, if it has only been three months since you purchased Canada Goose winter jacket, it's not our issue but rather an issue with the Canada Goose winter jacket itself. We offered to contact Bloomingdale's, where you directly purchased the winter jacekt, to assist with the resolution. However, you declined and continued to demand money, but since it's not our fault, we cannot refund you. The only thing we can do is refund the service fee of $37.95. If you bring the receipt again, we will contact the place of purchase directly to assist with the resolution.

I am writing in response to your recent claim that the damage to my jacket is due to a manufacturing issue of Canada Goose rather than the dry cleaning process your establishment performed. I want to make it very clear that when I brought my jacket in, it was in perfect condition with no fabric damage or discoloration. All the damages have appeared only after your service.
You also kindly showed the poster on your wall stating that you are not responsible for cloth damage and color change. While I understand that such disclaimers are common, they do not exempt your business from accountability, especially when the damages are clearly a result of the dry cleaning process.
I am highly disappointed by your response and lack of responsibility in addressing this issue. It is unacceptable to absolve yourselves from liability when the evidence points directly to your service being the cause of the damage. As a customer, I trusted your expertise and professionalism, and you have failed to deliver the quality of service promised.

They destroyed my wife's garment, were unwilling to accept any responsibility and refused to refund the cost of it.Very unpleasant experience.

I recently moved to the area and thought this would be a convenient place to take my dry cleaning given the proximity to Whole Foods. The first time I dropped items off, I went to retrieve them and they told me one of my white shirts was not ready yet (mind you I picked this up 2 weeks after drop off). I thought it was odd but nonetheless gave them a "pass" and I did eventually get my white shirt back. Second time I dropped off 2 items - sweater and another white shirt. Again I went back after 2 weeks (well over when they said it would be done) and I retrieved my sweater - but no shirt. They said it would be ready the next day.... 5 days later I came in to get (and had more to drop off). They said they could not find my shirt and they would give me a call. Of course I didn't LEAVE my next load of dry cleaning with them for fear of losing it all! They eventually called -- 5 days later and told me they couldn't find my white shirt - which by the way is a vintage designer piece! DO NOT TAKE YOUR ITEMS HERE THEY WILL BE LOST FOREVER!

They have done many alterations for me in the past, I always leave a happy customer and they have reasonable pricing. The woman is friendly, helpful and attentive. I will continue to come here for all my dry cleaning and alterations.Services: Alterations

I was very disappointed at this time. Eco Cleaners was messed my shirt up. When I brought my shirt at the beginning, I told them this is very expensive and please be careful. Even so, their skill was not good and not professional. Now my shirt faded and still have stain. I got full paid because counter woman said that even we couldn't success about this stain, I have to pay. I never seen this kind of service.NOT RECOMMEND!

The service here is great, very nice person at the counter, but they tend to break shirt buttons quite often and for some strange reason they return shirts to me with stains I requested to be removed. They tell me it cannot be removed is salad oil. I reply, but you're the cleaners, clean it. I go home, I soak the stain in Dawn dish soap, I rinse with cold water, I dry it and the stain is gone. Magic? Will not return because none the work is done on premises.

I came in with a few blouses and dresses,it was about a 5 day turn around- not terrible given the climate of covid! I received a call from them explaining that there was an issue/ incident with one of the dresses and they would explain once I got there! The dress is "dry clean only" faux leather on the sleeves. I've had the dress cleaned in the past and never was an issue until now. I was told that its the brand of the dress fault b/c they followed "dry clean only directions" and she advised that I needed to take up any issues with the brand of the dress b/c it's not their fault-- yikes and strange. The other items turned out just okay still had a few stains on pieces but most importantly were intact all things given. Prices were also fair unfortunately I will not return too risky as I've later seen reviews abt rips and burns on leather

Great quality and service. I trust the owner with all my items. They even pick up and drop off. They cleaned all my winter jackets very nicely, and my work pants and shirts come out very well. Highly recommended!

Based on a recommendation, I dropped off my badly stained wedding dress to be cleaned at this location! The stains were awful (including a red wine stain all of the way down the front). They sent it off to Wedding Gown Preservation and the stains are completely gone! My dress looks like new all over again. Their customer service was also amazing, as they kept me updated on my dress and when it would arrive. I would 100% recommend their services! I am beyond happy with the result.
