I went into this store yesterday evening to pick up some things. Now I do not recommend going here unless you want to be profiled. The store doesn’t have employees on the floor to help, they are there to profile urban people but not their own kind.When I was cashing out I watched two young teens steal right in front of my face. The employees were way too busy watching me. Instead of watching their own kind that didn’t pay for multi-items and walk right out the store with no issue. When I was proceeding to the door after I PURCHASED ALL MY ITEMS I was still being watched. Focused on the wrong person. I will not go back to this store and I definitely will take this matter further.

Merchandise selection is good. Plenty of recognizable mall brand names at discounts that are more generous than even the promotions these mall stores are providing at their own shops. It's definitely not for high end shopping of course, but for everyday needs like basic, casual clothing for the whole family, household items, toys, handbags, the deals are good. Best of all, the line isn't 50+ people deep. I checked out on a Saturday evening within 10 minutes. Remarkable.

Very awful employee there. yes that old Indian female employee I'm talking to you. The audacity that you have to comment on my sisters weight is very disgusting and it's also the fact you kept repeated "no that is not your size". Keep your opinion to your damn self because no one goes to a store to be judged, they go to buy. She doesn't "need" to wear 3XL. I don't care if u meant it in a nice way because with your attitude and demeanor said otherwise. Understand that is not the way to do your job

The opening of this place in Edgewater brought a sense of revitalization to the neighborhood. It was clean, prestigious and boasted a spacious fitting room and available restroom. However, in recent times, it has become a crowded and filthy place. The fitting room and restroom are now closed off with a huge chain, with a sign indicating that they are not allowed to be used. It seems as though the sense of ownership has shifted, and it no longer feels like a friendly and comfortable place. This is highly disapproved of.

I Went to the store at 10:33pm And the Door was locked. The Store was Schedule to close at 11:00 pm alseo the locker room are always closed. What is going on over there. I got to diferent stores locatios every week and never seen something like that before.

Having fitting rooms purposefully closed for over half a year (based on today’s experience and previous reviews) in a store focusing primarily on clothing, and chasing customers who are trying stuff on in a retail space, implying that those are about to steal, puts this store on a black list for me forever. “Thank you” for the first experience of that kind, and good luck in reselling “Forever 21”.

loveeeee this place. the greeters are always super friendly and the cashiers are always fast in getting the line down. it's definitely the cleaner, friendlier version of the dumpster fire that is tj maxx directly across from it. if you're looking for affordable clothes and gifts, definitely check this place out!

Love walking in to these stores and being surprised by what I might find. Their inventory is constantly changing so there's usually different items daily. Some days you find lots of goodies and some days are just way more bank account friendly.Tip: if you do find something you ? ????, GET IT. Don't wait on it cause it'll likely be gone when you cone back around for it.

I give this store 2 stars, for this reason.... My girl and I went there this past Saturday. As we were finishing up, I noticed that a loss prevention person was following us around. Out of ALL the people in the store , this ( in lieu of the word I want to use) individual was staring and following us. I reported her to the manager, and firmly expressed my displeasure. I will most likely NEVER shop there again, nor will I EVER recommend that anyone within earshot ever shops there..TJ MAX will now get my business.

This rating is about 4 months late and will be changed in the event the person I’m about to mention is (hopefully) no longer working there. The male store manager who reeks of arrogance and bad cologne has the nastiest, most unfortunate attitude I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with, and I’m saying this as someone who works in retail. His inability to be honest and/or helpful is laughable and the person who made the mistake of giving him this position he’s undeserving of should be embarrassed for the poor choice they made. All the cashiers are always lovely though, so please do this location the favor and promote one of them instead.

Some good discounts & large selection of clothing, shoes, underwear, toys & household items. Difficult navigating very narrow aisles w a cart. That's why I gave 4 stars. Plus there's an employee guarding the door so you don't take cart to your car. Bring your own bags or buy one for a dime. Checkout moves quickly.
