I took my granddaughters here for my daughter to get their hair done. These women are phenomenal!! One of my girls has really thick hair that had not been combed in a while. I couldn't believe how soft and beautiful her hair turned out. This salon was very busy but they took care of everyone so quickly. Even though I live in Maryland, I plan to go back to get my hair done by them.

Even though my hair was done nicely, and I am greatly appreciative of the salon’s work. I did not appreciate the treatment over there this time. My hair was done by the owner, Ramona, and when I was there I was quoted a price between $50 to $55 dollars between no conditioner or deep conditioning. I agreed to the price of $55 for deep conditioning. This was for a wash, blowdry, straighten and curl which is my norm. In the middle of my hair washing, Ramona wanted to increase the price on me within the middle of my appointment, which I did not appreciate and I told her that we had agreed to a set price in the beginning of the appointment and as a customer it would be unfair to me having a price hike in the middle of getting my hair done. Luckily, she didn’t press any further.
During the process, she seemed frustrated and was really rough with my hair. I have been to this salon before and have had the other hair stylists work on my hair and they were never as rough as her. My hair was pulled roughly so that it ended up hurting,I kept getting jammed by her nails multiple times in the face, and got burned a few times while doing my hair. I understand that this may happen on occasion but this is the first time that this happened so frequently and this was my first time with Ramona doing my hair. The other hair stylists working there were not rough at all and have always been so gentle during the hair services that I receive. I am pretty sure that they were speaking ill of customers in Spanish which I did not appreciate at all.
Also, another thing that I did not appreciate is that I was set to the side mid-way of my appointment so that she could first off another customer who had come after me and came to her appointment late! I was a bit annoyed at that as the process was about a good 40 minute wait to work on this customer’s hair. She charged this customer only $40 dollars and whispered this to the customer for the same hair services that I was receiving! When she was finished with the customer, she started it back on me and kept on complaining to me how long it was taking to do my hair. I have been to this hair salon, and it always has taken about 3.5 hours for them to finish and style my hair and even this time it was the same. It would have been much shorter if I didn’t have to wait the extra 40 minutes for her to style someone else’s hair.
By the time that I was finished, Ramona told me to my face that the next time I come in here that it wouldn’t be $55 but $70 right inside her shop with other customers present. Did you not forget that I also waited midway during my appointment, I have my frustrations too? Overall I did not appreciate this experience with her and I believe it shall be the first and last time having her style my hair. For the record, I myself work in a career in customer service, I am respectful towards all the people I encounter in the nature of my work and at no point was I ever rude to the hair stylist and owner, Ramona, nor did I show points of annoyance with the wait and the roughness while styling my hair.
Word of advice, Ramona, please treat all your customers fairly, equally and most importantly respectfully! I feel like you can definitely leave a thing or two by the service that your other staff provides and please follow suit! Normally, I would leave a tip, but due to this poor customer service, I just couldn’t tip since I was not provided good customer service by you. However, overall, I thank you for doing my hair. For this, I have to provide a 1-star review.

My first experience at this salon wasn’t bad. But the second time I was not happy with the shampooing my hair the lady was very rough I felt her nails deep in my scalp I was so uncomfortable and I get it I have thick hair she then continue to use a brush blow dryer and be so rough. I was very unhappy with the service I won’t be coming back. My hair was cute but no tip.
After I told her how rough she was being she continued to say I have a lot of hair and people work differently blah blah like I’m all about getting good customer service but that wasn’t it.
I told her I been so many hair salons and I never was treated like this .

It was my first time going today , i called at about 720 am and got an appointment booked for 10am ?. The guy on the phone was soooo nice , they all have great attitudes ! Liz did my hair i got a silk press & trim she did sooooo good . My total was $50 that includes wash blow dry , straighten & trim :) Amazing prices and service . Definitely will be back !

I want to start out by saying my hair looks beautiful and was treated with care and my scalp felt rejuvenated. The owner was such a nice and pleasant person. Also I want to add, when I called for appt they told me I can come in now! Love that! When I got there she started on my hair right away! I will be coming back for sure!

If I could zero stars I would. I called before the holidays and they were booked and so I scheduled an appointment for today. IShow for the appointment and they are closed. My daughter took her braids out for this appointment. No one called to confirm, so I attempted to call to confirm the day before but no one answered and the phone went straight to VM and guess what the VM was full. The barbershop a couple of doors down said they were remodeling and wont be openned until Monday. One of the best examples of unprofessionalism I have ever encountered. I swear the more you deal with these stylist and service professionals the more it makes you want to go and get your own credentials. Absolutely Ridiculous!

I want to start out by saying my hair looks beautiful and was treated with care and my scalp felt rejuvenated. The owner was such a nice and pleasant person. Very nice stylists. I got a smile and hello when I walked in. My stylist was nice and listened and gave exactly what I asked for and she rinsed my hair properly. I will be back even though I live in Philly.

I don’t understand what kind of Dominican salon acts like they can’t blow out hair to be straight. I am black and I have natural hair I am also a hairstylist and I came here get a wash deep condition and blowout to avoid doing it myself. She started blow drying my hair with a comb attachment instead of using a round brush like a dominican blowout requires. instead of just doing it how it’s supposed to be done and understanding where I’m coming from they blamed it on my hair being natural so in other words they blamed it on me being black. once I told them you know what forget it I’ll just pay for my wash and I’ll go because at this point I can just do it myself , they tried going back and forth with me. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. LEARN HOW TO WORK WITH BLACK PEOPLES HAIR.
