So kind, funny, Helpful, like they couldn't do enough for their great regular customers and new ones! These days people are so much more standoffish. “First time in here. Craft beer selection is awesome and plenty of it is cold. At first I walk in and the guy behind the counter says can I help you find anything, I said no I got it. I’m thinking that all places I go to near me close at 9pm and the cashier is trying to get me out of there because it’s 855 pm. Turns out they close at 10 pm and the gentleman behind the counter was the owner and I complimented him on selection and he gave me a quick tour of the place. Super nice guy. Joe has an amazing selection and he truly cares and takes pride. The store is well lighted and very clean. Prices are better then all the places I go to near me. This place will get my business and is worth it for me to drive out of my way to give my money to a prideful owner that talks to his guests.

“All staffs are so kind, I am not a frequent customer but whenever I go to Jersey to visit my mother ,I stop this store to purchase Korean soju, one day that soju was out of stock, manager gave me his name card to call ahead.
It is so worth it to come from Alexandria Virginia.”
“Fun little spot. Decent selection of wine and beer. Location can't be beat, just between 130 and 295. Driveway is horrendous though, you need a Humvee or to slowly weave your way through the potholes.”

“I go to Knast Liquor at least 4-5 times a week. They are always fully stocked with whatever we want. The owners are always ready to help with finding things, and they're always so happy to see me. It's like walking into a friend's house. Their prices are terrific, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Do yourself a favor and check out Knast Liquor on Maple Ave across from the CVS. You won't be disappointed.

“It is a fun place to meet with friends for sipping and snacking on cheese and crackers. They also sell gifty items pertaining to wine, and will also make up special order gift baskets. The wine they sell is from Buckingham Valley orchards, which is always superb. I also like it because the bottles have screw tops, not those annoying corks.”

The staff was beyond helpful as I had no clue what to select or how to get it delivered.Mike hand picked all of the beer out, boxed them, added two beer glasses, a Fathers Day card, and delivered it for us! I know this was a huge exception. I'm blown away at the service, kindness, great taste in beer and going the extra mile with buying a greeting card. “Every time I go there, the staff greets me, offers me a slushy sample (not my thing, but I know some people love them).
I can talk to the guys on the floor about beer. They have positive billboards on I-95, which is a nice change of pace from the ugliness of the freeway. The people behind the counter are always nice. If I buy a lot of beer for a party, they offer to help me carry it to the car.
They have vendors sometimes with free samples.
They also do UPS drop offs if you have the package taped up and labeled.
I bought a Beer Baron T-shirt from them last year. I like them that much.”
