Dear Sephora of American Dream,I hope this finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a recent incident that my sister and I experienced while shopping at your stores. It deeply saddened and disappointed us, and we believe it is essential to address this issue to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.On Saturday December 2nd , my sister and I visited your store with the intention of purchasing Christmas gifts for our family. As dedicated customers, we have always valued the wide range of products and the friendly customer service provided by Sephora. However, on this particular occasion, we encountered an uncomfortable situation that left us feeling profiled, discriminated against and essentially harassed.While browsing through the store and selecting items for our loved ones, we couldn't help but notice that we were being closely monitored by a staff member. Whom of which repeatedly and loudly called "security I need security" over their communication device, that all the staff members wear. Their constant presence made us feel uneasy and singled out. Despite our genuine intentions of simply shopping for gifts, we felt as though we were being treated suspiciously solely based on our appearance. (Me being visibly Latina and my sister being dark skinned)This profiling experience was disheartening, as both my sister and I have been loyal customers of Sephora for many years. We firmly believe that nobody should be subjected to such treatment, regardless of their background or appearance. We understand the importance of maintaining a safe shopping environment, but it is equally important to ensure that any customers are not unfairly targeted or made to feel uncomfortable.We kindly request that you thoroughly investigate this incident and take appropriate action to prevent such situations from recurring in the future. Additionally, we would appreciate receiving a formal apology for the distress caused during our visit. We genuinely value Sephora as a brand, and we hope that by addressing this issue, we can contribute to improving the overall shopping experience for everyone.We have always regarded Sephora as a company that values diversity and promotes inclusivity. Therefore, we trust that you will take our concerns seriously and handle the matter promptly. We believe in the potential for positive change and hope that this unfortunate incident can be turned into an opportunity for growth and improvement.Thank you for taking the time to read our concerns and for your attention to this matter. Ebony is absolutely the best ! She took her time to work with me and create a simple yet effective regimen for my very dry skin and did not talk me into buying any specific brand ! Just stated the facts a let me decide ! Sephora needs more beauty specialists like her ! The store manager was also very professional and kind ! All in all I had a great experience at this location ! Thank you everyone , I will definitely be back !

Store is going more and more downhill....maybe if my wife wasn't profiled...then lied to about having specific product it would be a little better. Hard to believe such a big company still has the same problems it always has. It's supposed to be a beauty store..how do employees get away with profiling women based on appearance? Isn't it supposed to be beauty for all? Then to have one employee literally call another team member a liar and ""I don't know why you were told that""? Not looking good

On 2/20/2023 I visited the Sephora here and it was my first time at this location. I couldn’t find a specific product so I asked one of the associates to help me find it. The associate told me they never sell this product at Sephora, ever. I was very confused since I bought this product from Sephora just last year. Before I was even done processing the information, he quickly asked if I needed anything else and walked away. I went onto my Sephora account to confirm that I did purchase this product in 2022, so I asked if they were sure about what they had told me- that they never sell this product at Sephora. When they realized that what they had told me was not valid/true, that’s when they “called” someone to ask if they carry it and said sorry we don’t have it at THIS store. I would have appreciated if this associate just stopped to understand what I was looking for when I asked the first time, instead of quickly dismissing me with inaccurate information.

On todays date November 12, 2022 I took my Daughter shopping for her birthday at the American Dream Mall. Right before heading home, I decided to go to Sephora's to by my Fiance a little gift. I was looking for Chanel's Chance Perfume for her. Maria who works in the Fragrances Dept.Came up to me and was extremely helpful finding the fragrance and she made the whole shopping experience that much better! Big kuddos to Maria for her Customer Service skills!! I highly recommended that you seek her out.
