The customer service is nonexistent. The clerk showed no interest in helping me and had attitude from the beginning. I was questioning whether or not, if I should continue to shop. However, there was a particular black jacket that suited me pretty well and I had tried it on already before getting to him. It was a good fit, good look and I was ready to purchase and be on my way. I had some questions about the price that rang up at the register, because it was a clearance item and the sign outside the door said; "take an additional 50% off clearance". So, of course I was trying to figure out why it was coming up with the ticket price and not the additional percentage off I read at the door coming in. Instead of the clerk explaining to me that it was already marked down, he got an attitude and with his tone and poor customer service, I was ready to walk. I decided not to even worry about it and take one for the team and go ahead and get the jacket anyways. Here is where my interaction with the clerk got even worse. As I was leaving the store I decided to bring it to his attention that maybe they want to word the signage a bit differently or even show the original price and then the markdown price on the merchandise so people can see that. He stayed true to his negative poor customer service, got uptight and dismissive and in a unnecessary tone; told me to contact corporate about it because they're the ones who set the rules on what the write on the sale board, and then he stormed off (while I was still talking to him). That didn't sit well with me. That attitude and lack of respect towards me got my blood boiling. I took the jacket back to the counter and told him, you can return this jacket. I don't want it. Your attitude is unacceptable and right out rude. I told him I t doesn't cost him anything to be polite to people especially your customers. I suspected the clerk, along with the lady clerk that was helping another customer at the register at the time; was being discriminative towards me. Anytime I feel that, I'm not spending my money with you. Not ever again with that store or the company in whole. By the way, the Clerks name was Anthony. I pray he comes to terms with the position he took on at the store and never treat another customer like the way he treated me.

They never answer the phone. The answering machine says due to Covid everyone works from home, and no one can take your call at this time. They ask you to look it up online, which I did and there is no information online for an order that was placed 10 days ago. They have the worst Customer Service, just horrible.Covid?? What year is it. Come on.

I was there to return a bag. The attitude was in the air. It was as if they didn't want to help me. The one guy didnt even want to acknowledge that i was in the store. Worse place I've been in. Eddie Bauer stores normally have great customer service. Will never go there again

I went there on a job interview a very long time ago and I felt like the lady was laughing at me because I asked for 14 -15 dollars wage, some older black woman who interviewed me. They also never called me back or e-mailed me to tell me if or if I didn’t get the job

Frustratingly Unhelpful costumer service experience! We attempted to return faulty, damaged(zipper, torn ripstop) luggage purchased under the lifetime warranty(changed 2 years ago, grandfathered in). We spoke with our local Eddie Bauer outlet manager and multiple customer service reps via phone before make a long trip to the brand store at American Dream Mall. Upon arrival to the store with our luggage, we explained to Barbara(sales rep/pretend manager) that we needed to exchange/return our two bags due to faulty zipper, random holes, and torn ripstop. Her immediate response was adversarial stating "if you've had the bag longer than a year I can't help you"(paraphrase), "what exactly is wrong with the bag?", "they look older than a year", etc. As we were the only customers in the store at the time I requested to speak with a manager. Barbara responded that she was the manager and then her tone changed. She entered my AR rewards to find the purchase history and it wasn't there. Then she stated that she has been with EB for two years and they stopped their lifetime warranty 6 years ago(contrary to customer service/other store). I then asked her to call customer service for mutual assistance. They gave her SKU# for both bags and explained thats what's needed for the refund process. Barbara then stated she needed to call her corporate contact for further assistance and she should be able to process it with her help. She told us to return in 1 hour and it should be completed. Fast forward 1hour, her tone changed again. She was again empowered to be obstructive. She explained SKU numbers don't allow her to do anything, she was instructed the best she can do is 49.99 for one bag(over $300) and even doing that was a "personal favor" given that the "actual" manager had arrived and gave her permission. We refused and left frustrated. (total time at this store 3+ hours).Determined, I went to another store 45 min away and had the complete opposite experience. At Garden state Plaza EB, both sales associate and manager went above and beyond, no questions asked to try and help us. We really appreciated their understanding. Due to the time, customer service line was closed and they were not able to get SKU# themselves but would be more than willing to finishing the transaction if we could get the necessary info from customer service the next day. Total support( 1 hour total). Customer Service today, was even more helpful. They provided us with purchase store/dates, SKU#, return mailing info, and advised on how to help the store if we chose to go that route. They explained with SKU# and purchase date proving we bought with lifetime warranty that we are entitled to a full refund(30min total).

Service and selection are generally very good. What I've been unable to get in-store was easily ordered online. Eddie Bauer quality and style, regardless of where the merchandise is manufactured, is consistently very good. Their clothing and accessory lines only get better over time. I get the some of my casual and outdoor clothing from EB and have been a regular customer for over 20 years. One of my favorite places to shop for high-quality dress shirts

Just visited the newly opened Eddie Bauer store on October 2nd. We found many great items and an even better find in the clearance section located in the back right of the store. Here we found a greatly marked down shirt at 75% off.We also recommend signing up for their adventure card. Is free and it can give future savings depending on the amount you spend. These are based quarterly and I believe they do expire though.
