We went in to get a bear with my kid for his first birthday. The bear quality is pretty decent. The reason I'm giving only 3-stars is because of the lack of spark from the staff. I remember going to a BAB (different location) when I was younger. That place felt magical. Staff was full of excitement and interacted so joyfully with the kids and kidults. In this location, the bear stuffer couldn't even crack a smile. Her main perogative was to try upselling the hearts. I'm assuming this is a corporate initiative. The "heart dance" spiel she did felt soo scripted and lackluster. The whole place felt soo transactional. I'm hoping this place continues to stay in business but all i ask is for the staff to bring back the charisma. With consumers feeling beat up with this new economy that consists of rising costs and job insecurities, we need that magic now more than ever!

First time at build a bear.Beware of hidden fees. The person stuffing the bear asked my daughter to smell scents, did not not say they cost more. The same with a heart, that I figured cost more so I asked about that one. When I went to check out they tried charging me for the scent it I said I wasn't told there's an extra fee for it. They stuffed another bear for me and have me another one without the scent (aka weird). Interesting customer service, but their workers need to be up front with pricing, I did not see signage with these added fees.

Fun place for kids. More than just building bears. Great party idea and activity. Great space and accessories for the bears or other stuffed animals.

My daughters birthday is august 28th. We came to build a bear to get her a birthday bear was denied a bear today September 1st because apparently she can only receive a bear from august 1st through the 31st. It was a 1 day difference and this is a toddler. The so called manager named jasmine is honestly a piece of basura for denying a 3 year old a birthday bear. The only reason why I even sought help was because I didn’t see the bear in stock. Build a bear you suck! And so does jasmine.

This build-a-bear location is exactly the same as other locations, however the one major difference is that they have a lot of the retired/hard to find bears available for purchase at this location. I came and found not only old Pokemon bears, but also hard to find ones from sanrio such as Kuromi or Pompompurin. I didn't stuff them myself, but this is something i'd keep an eye out for if you want to find these bears.

After speaking with BAB customer service I was told they weren’t sure if they were gonna release a reg size bearclops. It’s the only stuffy I saw and wanted. Went to this location just to walk the mall and popped in. I saw a full size bearclops and grabbed the display as I looked for the skin. The woman whom helped me just put them out fresh out the bag. She knew cleanliness was a concern of mine so she was even kind enough to offer me a heart out of the bag instead of the bin. She was super kind friendly understanding non judgmental and smiled the whole time. The store was very clean and organized, mild compliant would be I wish they cleaned the computers in between each customer. Other than that the woman who helped me was amazing I got exactly what I wanted she was so sweet. If I got her name I would mention it.

Had a good variety of bears to choose from. Went last week with my boyfriend and there were 3 people on the sales floor and the store was packed. We picked out a bear and were waiting by the stuffing machine and no one helped us. at least 4 people cut in front of us when clearly we were in line waiting for 10min. And then they told us the line is on the other side. Ridiculous. should put a sign were to make the line to stuff your bear. Worse of all the lady saw that we were waiting for a while and still let 4 people thru before us. At least be more organized.

Bear builder at the stuffer station said I was rude for asking to put more stuffing into my sanrio plush. The plush head seemed a little deflated and I just wanted a bit more. They pointed out that the heads are prestuffed, but I restated that even prestuffed, i still felt that it needed a bit more because it was flat. They said "you don't need to be so rude about it." And seemed frustrated the rest of the experience. It was absolutely frustrating and humilating and COMPLETELY ruined the experience. As a former bab employee, this is disgusting. Extremely disheartening. Never again. Terrible service.

Working with Aileen today as a group of adults she made us truly feel like kids again and made our day! The staff’s enthusiasms and friendliness was infectious, making the whole process incredibly enjoyable for everyone!

Only one staff in the entire store was somewhat kid friendly. The rest of the staff was bitter and seem to have no interest in working at a kids store. So disappointed my son’s first build a bear experience was so boring and not kid engaged.

Went to do the "birthday bear" experience.. you pay the cost of your child's birthday and clothing is extra.. which i expected. However without informing us of the price of a scent (doesnt even work) or the sound bit the employee offered them to us. When we got to the register the cost was $22.50 instead of $10 and i was in literal shock. I honestly dont mind the price or paying for extras but I would like to be TOLD about them ahead of time. The employees at the register made no attempt to rectify or explain anything, barely offered an apology. Didnt offer to take the charges off since I was unaware of them in the first place. If you go there be sure to ASK before they start stuffing your bear.

I really liked it, it is a good gift for children and they have a great variety, there are Pokémon, video games, and even shoes.
