I had a great experience shopping at Home decor- East Orange! I would definitely recommend Sam and Ahmed! Thank you- today is my lucky day I received a new tv 50 inch when I purchased during Black Friday. Go check them out!!!! And I wish all salesmen would be like Sam and Ahmed.

Horrible experience samir lied about the purchase we ordered a bedroom set a living room set when the delivery came we did not see a dresser which usually comes with bedroom sets when we spoke with samir he advised us this will be part of our delivery and it never came i called to see why is it not here he said it was not part of purchase and said that we have to pay an additional $500 for the dresser he gave us a small nightstand saying thats the dresser apart of the delivery now i am attempting to return these items and he tells me thats ok 50% of purchase will still be taken out because we dont work for free! Now i am getting the BA Involved and to fix this situation dont shop here !

Go buy furniture in another store. They sell to you broken furniture. He sold broken furniture to me and he's not taking responsibility, claiming that he sold furniture as floor sample. I called East Orange Police who advised that that a civil complaint matter. I urge you, to buy furniture from honest, truthful and reliable store. He gave me fraudulent appointments. Go to another store and purchase furniture from there. God bless you for understanding this review. Zero rating

On 1-2-23 a mattress set was delivered to my home. The box spring was not the same quality as the one that was shown on the display floor. Upon removing the warehouse plastic, my husband and I discovered the underlining material to the box spring was not attached. In addition there was no registered tag of inspection, (required by NJ law) attached to either the box spring or the mattress. The mattress gives off a strong chemical odor but we have no way of identifying the substances used since no tags were attached telling us the materials used in manufacturing, who the manufacturer is or where the mattress comes from. In “good faith” my husband respectfully asked for a refund and hand delivered a letter explaining why we were requesting our money back. He was informed by Nick, “they do not return money”. So, I am writing this review to alert all consumers in East Orange and the surrounding cities of the business tactics of Home Decor. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau along with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs in Trenton. It is my opinion they are predators in the community, who are preying on consumers who come to them in “good faith” to do business.————————————————-Update: 1/14/23After receiving their propertyback, the store refunded my husband his money. As stated, I did contact the BBB and I also filed a complaint with the East Orange Fire Dept… out of concern for the chemical smell on the mattress. (I was not sure if it was flammable).Not sure who to thank for my husband getting a refund. I never did get the owner’s name. The telephone number on the Home Decor invoice is registered toMr. Yousef Hamad andMr. Anoud Hamad. I am glad they listened to reason and corrected the situation.My husband appreciated receiving the refund. I gave the store a 3 stars rating in hopes it would MOTIVATE “Home Decor”to be “honest” in their business transactions in the future.

Service was excellent. Soon as we walked in Sammie showed us exactly what he had that would fit what we told him we were looking for. Quick and to the point. Not pushy when it came to sales. Made us feel very comfortable. Will definitely be returning when I need something else. Thank you.

Nice salesperson, Junior, very patient (with my stubborn 96yr old grandma) and knowledgeable once he has an idea of what you want. Nice furniture but I found it a bit overpriced, even with a alleged 30% discount. Purchased a sofa sleeper, recliner, and kitchen table. Wasn’t pleased with the table because I was given the floor model. Later visited another store and saw kitchen tables with 4 chairs for the price I paid with only two seats. Delivery was quick, 24hrs next day before noon. Had an issue with the recliner color and was resolved asap by the sales rep Junior. Delivery for the mix up was also quick, 24hrs next day before noon. Had to pay again for delivery since the store refused to take liability for the delivery of the wrong color recliner. Overall, satisfied however still know I overspent after visiting another furniture store with nicer things for less. Will not shop here again or recommend. ***Disclaimer: unless they have a ridiculous sale, lol****

I visited the Home Decor Furniture in East Orange, NJ and had a wonderful experience. Junior who was my salesman was very sweet and made sure that I broughtva sofa that was in my budget. He was very personable and I will certainly be doing business with him again. I would recommend anyone that is looking for furniture to visit Home Decor Furniture in East Orange.
