159 Mt Pleasant Ave, East Hanover“Was at Divine Store today to get a new Device and did a sim swap of my Carrier which was acting up.Clergy Emmanuel helped me resolve all my concerns as I walked out of the Store fulfilled. Thanks to Divine Store Team, you guys are awesome ?”
“An incredible selection of … everything! Quality vintage items. Don’t need to buy new when you can find very cool stuff here. The person behind the counter (owner?) is so nice and helpful too. Give this place a good look. Many rooms to browse. Love it!”
“Worth visiting again and again!
The book barn is exactly that an old barn filled with lots of used books at great prices.
Finding what you want: The shop is well organized a labeled. There is a lot to choose from, yet I wouldn’t come shopping with a specific book in mind and hope to find it. As with all thrift store shopping it’s better to have general idea of the types of things you want and see what you find. Maybe you will find that specific book look you are looking for and that will feel like a huge win!
Everything is pretty well organized and I’ve found the volunteers very helpful. When you first walk in you will see books on cooking, classics, crafts, music, and gardening, etc. (the volunteers are always making improvements so this may change). From there the middle aisle is organized by author and then the 3rd aisle has books on travel, sports, self help, and religion, etc. There is a room for children’s books, fantasy books and teaching (great for teaching your kids at home).
Explore! There is more! The shop has been expanding making room for more books, as well as games, puzzles, CDs, DVDs and Christmas decor. These back rooms may not be heated so come mentally prepared and be glad that the main part of the shop now is! No more flipping through books with your gloves on and trying to stay warm!
Donating: It’s easy to donate bring your books while they are open. The donation spot has its own door. I usually pop my head in a make sure they are ready before unloading multiple boxes of books. If you are coming from a distance with books to donate call ahead. There has been few occasions when the store is closed or not accepting books and you might not know this until you arrive so call before making the trek. While the volunteers take all books donated not all the books get shelved, some books are thrown away. You can walk around and see the type of books they take. So before you unload your crate of childhood books from the 60s that no one has heard of save yourself the hassle. (I’ve never volunteered there I’m just making assumptions from visiting over the last 15 years.)
Bargain Barn: The Bargain Barn and the Book Barn or two different things with their own hours. If you come and they are both open you can enter the Bargain Barn by going past the cashier at the book barn. But you do pay at each place individually. The Bargain Barn has clothes, jewelry, and housewares. Last I checked they do not take donations on Saturdays.
When to visit: It’s worth visiting when both the Book Barn and Bargain Barn are open if you enjoy thrifting. It’s definitely busier on Saturdays and the aisles are tight so it’s hard to pass by people. Go on a week day if you can or come early.
So go check it out the prices are great and the proceeds go to charities! What’s not to love?”

“Who needs therapy when you have a consignment shop?! This place has the best vibe, music to groove while shopping & finds that'll make your day. It's so clean and organized, I always find something fabulous here - probably because of their awesome owner who greets everyone with such warmth!”
“Need to update yelp hours! I walked to the door on a Tuesday just for it to be closed. I was excited to antique shop :( Update: I appreciate the owner for addressing this so quickly! I came on my day off for the first time about a 15 min drive but I would love to come back for the full experience. I already wanted to buy something by looking at the items through the window.”

Very friendly and offer a wine night and some good sales. I love the ambiance, and it is well-lit and priced. Why buy new and why not bring in the things that you dont need. Love this place.”
“Such a beautiful store! I feel like the prices are normal for vintage clothes. There’s also a large section of vintage designer. Wide variety of sizes and styles from every era. There’s also a $10 rack and a free bin in the front of the store, which is a nice touch. I like that there’s something for everyone here and it’s a very inviting experience. I love that Vintage Alley posts new inventory on Instagram to help people stay in the loop. I will definitely be back soon!”

333 Springfield Ave, Summit“Over the past 2-3 years I have had great experience bringing beautiful crystal, china, etc. on consignment to Home Again, and was always welcome. 99% would sell well. If something was below the shop standard they simply mentioned it and I kept it for donation. I have enjoyed going to also get out of my Covid zone last year! My time with Kathy has always been a very positive experience. Recently I had 5 boxes but was not sure it was up to their standard, I emailed Kathy all the item pictures, she thanked me but they were not to standard as I had guessed, I did not have to drive there. I dropped the content to the VNA sale in FarHills for Morristown Medical Center. Kathy told me she was looking forward when I would go again. Always a pleasant positive experience with anyone at the counter!”

Today I went in to pick up some hair for me and my daughter's braids, hair gel, beads for decorating my hair. There is so much to see and each isle is stocked. Lastly, the customer service and product knowledge is wonderful and the employees make shopping a pleasure. They are very helpful and polite. I can say that I can never go in and not take the time out to browse. They also always makes you feel like an appreciated customer. This is definitely a business that I will continue to support And I will continue to refer my family and friends to.”

I was online shopping for a specific dress to wear for an upcoming wedding I am attending and found the perfect dress for such a great price! I immediately ordered it, but then was concerned about the possible 8 day shipping window. When I reached out to DoubleTake, they were so amazing and offered to 3-day ship the dress to me with no extra charge. I was shocked at the perfect condition and still having tags on it. The dress fits perfectly and I cannot wait to wear it this weekend. Thank you so much to the staff for making my week!”
