I’ve only been here twice since I’ve moved to East Brunswick but each time the service has been fantastic, the staff is very accommodating with my requests and everything comes out delicious, they are also very friendly. One of the better Wawa’s I’ve been to!

? I had a most terrible experience @store no.#914 on 426 Ryders Ln. E.,Brunswick, NJ on 12/29/2023 @ 9:44pm.A manager named Dakota was extremely belligerent and rude. I had a previous run-in with him before because of his terrible customer service attitude. I feel most sad that he’s actually a manager because his behavior is unbecoming as one. I have been going to this particular Wawa for a long time since it is close for me. Almost every time I have entered that store one of the managers named Dakota has been there. So Dakota manages to look up at me condescendingly and converse with another cashier on his headset about me. Dakota makes it so obvious because the cashier that he was speaking to through his headset looks at me as if Dakota has said something. That night I went over to the cashier to ask if in fact Dakota said something about me and the cashier confirmed that he was talking about me in a misinformed way. After I paid for my drink, and proceeded to wait by the deli counter until it was done, I expressed my ill opinion of how unprofessional Dakota was to another counter person and that I would be putting a call into corporate to relay his unprofessionalism every time I enter the store. Dakota overheard that and asked if I was talking to him or which I told him that this wasn’t his concern but that I was going to report him. Dakota after feeling some sort of way, probably his ego hurt said and I would have to leave the store or else he would call the police. He then refused to give me my drink, even though I paid for it, and told the cashier to refund my money of which they did.I didn’t understand why he would ask me to leave except that he wasn’t expecting someone to report him. I made sure he knew that I was definitely going to let corporate and his superiors know about him and his continued treatment of me. It’s truly not often that I go out of my way to write someone off and get someone noticed in a bad light, but this behavior! Dakota’s behavior was uncalled for. My night was ruined due to Dakota’s antics but I went to another Wawa further away to forfil my order. I feel, though it’s my duty to bring this to light. I am a consumer and a frequent consumer at Wawa and I don’t think it’s fair or correct, especially for a manager to act as Dakota did. His demeanor speaks volumes of how much needed training he still desperately needs to work on immediate coaching on how to address the public. A manager is supposed to lead by example, and Dakota is a terrible example of how people should not treat each other and a terrible example of a manager. There’s another manager there by the name of Kim as well and she has a terrible disposition as well. I did end up calling corporate, and even the general manager said to me that she’s not very liked, but she’s been there a long time and she runs hot and cold. I thought that answer from a general manager was completely odd, considering that she was talking about her own employee but that also is very telling. There are quite a few people that have got into arguments with Dakota and Kim and I’m clearly not the only one who feels this way and sadly not the last. They say the customer is always right and that’s not always true in every case, but in this case it is. As far as calling corporate, they said that they would reprimand him but there was no follow up and no apology on Dakota’s side but I do believe in Karma. I’m all for going the extra mile for great service but you also have to not be afraid to stand up as well when things are wrong. Like they say if you see something, then you must say something!

The gentleman at the register with the long beard who is a little on the hefty side (sorry I’m not sure your name) is such a pleasure. Every time I go in there, he greets me with a smile and is always very kind and accommodating. He has THE best customer service skills. His personality is gravitational and every time I see him he helps brighten my day. He is very quick with the register and is very accommodating.Always makes eye contact, and our encounters are always very genuine, you can tell he really truly cares about his job. He always has a smile on his face and always is very friendly to everybody that walks in. He is speedy quick and does not wait one second of your time. You can tell he truly cares about the people he encounters. I’m happy he likes his job! Because it makes people around him happy too! To the man I dealt with if you were reading this I hope you have a wonderful day and I am praying for you. ?

Went there a few days ago to get an online order of 2 sandwiches. When I asked the person in the sandwich area if my number was available, she just tossed them to me. I was quite taken back. It was totally rude.Never had that kind of service before. If you go there, the sandwich person is a thin African-American girl with her hair tied up in a bun.

Never can make anything correctly. Doesn’t have half the items that come with the sandwich, panini or club but you pay pull price of it.

I ordered a kids meal and a classic sandwich. The kids meal options are pretty limited, but my kid wanted a simple Turkey shorti with cheddar cheese, tomato, and a little Mayo. Instead we got a turkey shorti with lettuce, no Mayo, cucumbers and provolone. My kid was about to cry over it but luckily we were home and could swap out ingredients. When we picked up the food the guy was on autopilot making food, and probably not paying attention whatsoever to the print out. He also didn't tell us the order was ready and it was sitting behind the glass.I used to love this place when I lived in the south, would be greeted warmly, my food was always correct, and I would gladly sit outside and eat. NJ Wawas are a joke compared to that - super rude older lady cashier, mistakes on orders, they don't always call your number and you are waiting when it's done and find the order sitting behind the glass meanwhile the food service staff is joking around hanging out. DO BETTER WAWA!

Pathetic, lazy, Sad Sack night crew standing around doing nothing with about 60% of the menu shut down. If you want something to eat here at night it better be something that doesn't require a whole lot of effort because actually working and earning a paycheck is not on anybody's mind here. They even acted put upon when you ask a question. Wawa should be humiliated by the performance of this store but it's nothing new.

Nice sign on the window stating they are closing at 10pm and at 9:47pm the guy came out as people were walking in and pushed them out of the way and locked the door. Pretty tough when people are bad human beings!
