My name is Jay live in Oldridge NJ , I went to see Peter "the salesman" at this Mazda dealer. Peter is a great guy very honest I had a great experience with him trying to get me into a new lease spent some time with him trying to get a deal done and it was well worth it ! Peter got me into the 3 row suv I wanted and because of the new manager John he was able to pull it off! I can't thank John enough for being patient with me as well and getting me the car I really wanted. Thank you very much John & Peter you guys are awesome! I will highly recommend anyone to get their next new vehicle at this dealer they will try their very best to accommodate your needs for your next new car !

I would definitely think twice about buying a Mazda. Having a terrible experience with a 2021 CX-9. Bought it new with nothing but problems that can't be solved. Car continually breaks down, but when it goes to the service center, no codes show up and they send me packing. A couple of weeks after my warranty expired, oh look it's a $3k wiring harness, pay up! They have a drive until you die policy. CrazyThe warranty is useless. Terrible brand! The car that breaks down and cannot be fixed because they don't see any codes! Once the warranty is expired, codes for everyone. Mazda's motto should be drive till you die! Update: just a couple of days ago my car once again shut off. Error messages on the phone had to pull over once again! I swear I am on some twisted tv show. Drive to you die that's the Mazda way!

Peter and George are effing amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Peter is such a good guy to talk to and is so sweet. I have been car searching for a year now, and I've hated basically every salesmen I've dealt with except Peter. I trust him, I really do, and he's really honest. I really want to keep my business with him.Got to meet George as well, great dude and explained to me as a young woman what I should look for and stay away from if I ended up having to buy from another dealer.I thought I knew it all, and was looking at a car thinking they'd come down on the price $4k (like who do I think I am). They explained what price point I should be looking at at ANY dealer, to be out the door with the price I want. They're truly wholesome people and I trust them for sure!!!

I leased a CX9 from Open Road. Great car! Unfortunately, I have experienced two poor service experiences. First, shortly after delivery, the Fob proved defective. They claimed it was not covered by the warranty and charged me to replace it. However "Mazda USA Official Site," told me a defective fob was in fact covered by the new vehicle warranty. Although it left me with a bad feeling toward Open Road I put the matter aside because I had far more productive things to do with my time. The second poor experience occurred between Sep 6 and Sep11. I brought the car in because the instrument panel oil light was on and the car was losing oil. They diagnosed the problem as a valve seal leak. I very clearly stated that It was critical I have the car back by the weekend. One of their service staff, Tarik, told me it would require "a couple of days" to repair and assured me it would be complete by the weekend. By mid-day Friday not having heard from them I called to find out the status. I was told they needed to order parts and it wouldn't be complete til Monday. Of course, I was grossly disappointed and expressed my annoyance that no one called to give me a "heads up". How hard is it to make a call to advise a customer that you cant keep your commitment? They then promised to have it done by Saturday's close of business.Consequently, I was forced to re-arrange a series of complex plans at great inconvenience and cost. When I picked up the car I, in a very gentlemanly manner, expressed to Tarik my anger and disappointment. His response was arrogance, defensiveness, and a curt dismissal with "Have a nice day".My lease will soon be up. I find it ironic that lately I've been inundated with telephone calls, letters, and emails from Open Road sales trying to get me to turn the car in early for "great deals" . All I can say to Mr Tarik and Open Road management is your bad attitude will cost you a a sale as I will never buy a car from you and I will take my car to another Mazda dealer for any service need rather than subject myself to indifference and rudeness

Had an excellent experience purchase a car with Peter A. He helped me find the right car and at the right price! Oscar in the Finance Department helped me with getting the right interest rate and monthly payment that was affordable. Also, been taking my Mazda's, over the years, for Service for over a decade and they are great!

Typical slimy car salesmen work here. The place is small with no parking. They overcharge you on dealer prep and try to force you to pay for window etching you never asked for. Do not buy a car here !! Warning !!!

I hold a million dollars in cars and I can say this dealer is Wildly unprofessional, do NOT go here. Was assured the car I was looking for was there, drive 45mins to see it, wasn't there. Then schedule an appointment and was to told to come in. Was being SOLD BEFORE I GET THERE. Wasted my time twice, and was pretty much told too bad. I made every attempt to see this vehicle and was kicked to the side. They don't care about you and don't deserve your business, was prepared to buy multiple cars. I'll take my business to a dealer that actually cares about there customers, not the typical disgusting dealer antics, just hunting the sale. Go to Freehold Mazda, they'll take care of you way better!

Somehow the state of Illinois sent my new plates to the dealership in NJ instead of my home in Chicago. Luckily, Open Road Mazda has put them in the mail to me, with a tracking number. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Want to take a stab at why the plates were sent to the dealership instead of the owner?I'm going to wager that it was because the forms were filled out by what seems like a blackout-drunk version of someone using their non-dominant hand.Peace out, Open Road. Never again will I buy anything, anywhere, from within an antiquated and predatory system like a car dealership.

I had such a good experience buying a cx5 from Mark Rodrigo three years ago, that I kept his business card handy. When it came time for my daughter to buy her first car, I suggested talking to mark at open road. It was another great experience. We went there just to "look," but were presented with such a good deal that she made the quick decision to buy a certified pre-owned Mazda 3. She picked it up today and loves it. Dealer prep was phenomenal. She said "it even smells good!" Way to go, Mark! I guess you have another repeat customer. Thanks,Bill H
