Nick was the guy that helped us, he was great and understanding. His manager was also very helpful with picking up the mattress so we could take it home asap. Great guys, we were very happy.

beware- scammers for management!
purchased a mattress and adjustable base for $1965.60 and it was delivered sept 3rd. it was then returned on sept 7th and Nicholas (nick) told me due to my situation he would not charge me a restocking fee but a haul away fee of $99.99.
Travis- the store manager originally told me a fee of around $300-400 to have it returned.
received a refund of 1700.00 flat when I should have received obviously $1865 after the 99 haul away. spoke back with Nicholas and was told that the “set up” was not refundable as i had them set it up and that i am calling because i am JUST missing $40. he then said he would look into this to see what can be done as my refund receipt shows a price of 1740 but I received 1700.
spoke with customer care and was informed that the set up is indeed refundable once the item is returned and that i was lied to. Someone higher up had to reach out to me and ALSO confirmed my refund was not the correct amount. Travis and Nicholas are stealing customers money so stay away from this store. Horrible service and horrible management running this location.
Also Nicholas never called back about the $40 that i was owed.

You can buy a mattress anywhere. But Travis Farlong at the East Brunswick location of Mattress Firm on a Monday morning *sold* me a mattress. His kindness and courtesy were matched only by his clearly apparent years of experience and knowledge in the variety of brands, firmness qualities, different technologies and physiological differences (hip pressure, etc) between all the different mattresses. He was glad to help me look at all the models, and allowed me to prove to myself that the lower quality mattresses may be appropriate for some, but not all. In the end I ended up buying a mid-tier soft mattress, plus a pillow that I just had to have when I found it there, with some great discounts. Overall I highly recommend this store for their hiring practice and choosing the right man for the job. Thanks, Travis! It makes all the difference.
