I love going to home improvement stores. I like checking out the latest home gadgets and technology. 5 solid stars! We have been coming to this location here in East Brunswick for the last two decades. Always stellar customer service at the cashier and return department. Super helpful sales associates always ready to assist and answer any questions we have. They will never walk by you in the aisles without asking if you've found what you're looking for. We've had our old Kenmore Elite washer and dryer for 19 years now. The last two weeks our washer has been acting up. Each time I do a load, I pray that it doesn't explode. Today we had no choice but to get a new pair. After much research, I was set on a pair of LG's. As the sales associate was ringing us up, out of the corner of my eyes another LG model caught my attention. It was taller, more sleek...a piece of eye candy coated in Black Steel. I went over to look at it more closely. I decided to get this one instead. I was very happy with the price, special discount and delivery date. Whew!! As I am typing this review up, my old washer made it through another load. Can't wait to get my new washer and dryer this coming Thursday.

I bought Christmas Icicle Lights on 12/24/2023 to use they for New Years decorations. Some light bulbs were missing. 10 lights were not working. When I try to return them customer service manager told me that they dont accept returns on holidays items, even if they are broken. They also dont replace broken holiday items. They told me it's just the way Lowes operates. They can take your money selling you broken holiday items but they dont take responsibility for it. Very unprofessional .

I was looking for Scott's Green Max to help green up my lawn and Lows was the only place I found it. They have a pretty good size Lawn & Garden Department. Thanks Lows. ?

Lowe's has come a long way. Once a sad looking store, now it's easier to navigate, brighter and cleaner. This one in particular is nice with helpful staff.

Called five times to see if they had an item. Was transferred five times to electrical and was disconnected five times. Went to store and I went to lighting aisle. An associate walking up the aisle on his phone and drinking a coke. I asked him for help and showed him a photo of a tube bulb that I was looking for. He said I don’t know much about batteries. I told him this was a 96Inch bulb. He said oh, I don’t know anything about bulbs either. He said he would get someone to help me. I waited fifteen minutes- no one came. A female associate wandered by and asked if I needed help. I told her what I needed. She said she didn’t know and suggested that I speak with someone from appliances. Appliances??? As I was leaving I saw the manager and told him everything I had been through. He apologized. I told him he shouldn’t be proud as his store had failed in every situation. I told him this must be what happens to everyone and not just me. Just an awful experience from an awful store.

Subject: Refrigerator Purchase Complaint Dear Lowe's Customer Service, I am writing to express deep dissatisfaction with my recent refrigerator purchase on September 14, 2023. The unit leaked upon installation, causing damage to my wood floors. Despite technician visits, the issues persisted, and Lowe's offered a meager $250 discount. A promised replacement faced delays, leading to distress and financial losses. Edwin, an employee, facilitated a new delivery for October 9, 2023, but the interim 4.4 cu fridge proved inadequate, risking further food spoilage. The culmination of events--damaged flooring, financial losses, and a missing refrigerator--has severely diminished my trust in Lowe's. I request compensation for repairing the floors, and related expenses. I urge Lowe's to rectify this situation promptly and effectively. Contact me at the provided details to discuss further.

Subject: Complaint regarding refrigerator purchase and subsequent issuesDear Lowe's Customer Service,I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with a recent refrigerator purchase at Lowe's. On September 14, 2023, I purchased a fridge from your store. Upon its installation on September 15, 2023, the refrigerator began leaking. I was not present at the time of hookup, and the unit was too heavy for my wife to move to shut off the water valve. This resulted in damage to our wood floors as they became warped by the time I could intervene.Although the fridge operated, the water and ice features were non-functional. After contacting Lowe's, a technician was dispatched but indicated an inability to rectify the issue due to a punctured tube, likely damaged during the initial setup. Subsequent consultation with a Samsung technician yielded similar results.Reaching out to Lowe's dispatch, I was informed of the necessity to return the malfunctioning fridge prior to receiving a replacement. This arrangement posed significant inconvenience given the presence of two young children in our home and my work commitments. A mere $250 discount was offered as a consolation for the substantial inconvenience and damage. The dispatch representative promised a pickup on October 7, 2023, and delivery of the replacement on October 8, 2023. However, on October 8, 2023, I was informed there was no record of a scheduled delivery. Multiple calls and requests to speak to a manager went unheeded.Thankfully, Edwin, an appliance sales representative at your store, intervened on my behalf, though he noted the limitations of his involvement once dispatch took control. He managed to schedule a delivery for October 9, 2023. Regrettably, in the interim, the temporary 4.4 cu fridge cooler I had purchased is insufficient, and I am now faced with the potential loss of additional food items. The culmination of these events has been distressing: damaged flooring, financial losses exceeding the $250 compensation, spoiled food, and a missing refrigerator. I am deeply disappointed with Lowe's handling of this matter, particularly with the apparent oversight during installation, which seems to be the root of these issues. As a resolution, I urge Lowe's to address the damages incurred, including the cost of repairing the warped floors, the spoiled food, and other related expenses. The experience has severely diminished my trust in Lowe's, and I feel compelled to share my experience to caution other consumers.I expect a prompt and effective response to rectify the situation. Please contact me at the above address or via phone/email to discuss this matter further.

Encountered a rude store associate today in the blind/ shades section. It appears that she lacked any sort of empathy or any kind of basic manners (Forget about customer service). I was looking for shades/blinds when the blinds, the way they were placed in the rack, dropped on the rack floor accidentally. Obviously not my fault for how they are placed. Since I have a health issue I was not able to bend and so I was pushing(Not kicking as claimed by the associate)the blinds back in the rack so people would not trip over. However she started scolding me that I was kicking the items. Any explanation she would not listen to and ignored my explanation about my health issue. I will never visit any Lowes again in the future.

I gave them one star but I should have given them 0. I bought a refrigerator. When the delivery people came, and they tried to disconnect my fridge which was in working condition, they decided that they weren't going to install the new one. The delivery person wanted to leave the new one in the middle of the kitchen, and he suggested that I hire a plumber for the installation, that they were only supposed to "deliver" appliances. Meanwhile, he was going to take my working fridge. I said don't take my fridge and return the new one. He refused and went ahead to take my refrigerator and bring in the new one. I became upset because he paid to attention to my wishes. He had me disconnect the water valve. I couldn't reach it but my son was able to turn the water off. They went ahead and connected the new fridge. Finally I said, and the guy mentioned that he only did it because of "my age"? I was upset at the micro-aggression, that's ageism, I thought. Well, they left eventually and took my working refrigerator, About an hour later we noticed that the laundry room, which is directly below the kitchen was flooding! The connection was leaking. It got worse as time elapsed, and eventually, we could hear the water gushing out from behind the fridge. We had to shut the main valve again. We rented a water vacc, from Home Depot. We had no water and we needed to turn the valve on for personal hygiene purposes and the rest of the time, we had no water. We went back to the East Brunswick Lowe's branch several , finally, we got to speak to a manager (Aaron) who took no ownership of the matter. He only did "damage control." while blaming the transportation company, a third party contractor. I must have spoken on the phone to several hundred people, yes it sounds like an exaggeration, it probably is, but that's what it felt like. It was maddening to have to repeat the story to different agents. There was a responsive woman, who asked me to send her receipts of my extra expenses. She also asked me to hire a plumber, that she had received permission from her lead to reimburse me the cost. $275. The vac rental, $130. The refrigerator was connected and the water gushing was corrected but my laundry room is destroyed, the floor is a mess, the clothes that were on the floor in a basket were ruined and water got into my gas drier which is not heating now. The driver who had connected the fridge in the first place showed up to reconnect the refrigerator which had already been reinstalled by the plumber and took pictures of the refrigerator. I told him that the temp setting controls were not working, but he was only talking on the phone so he paid no attention. Outcome? a person from the distribution department called. I asked to have them return the fridge and send me a new one. Of course, she put it in such a way that I would return the fridge, but I had no guarantee of when the new one would come in. Of course, I didn't want to be without a fridge, and add to my expenses with my food rotting. She said would you take a discount for the temperature glitch. I finally, had to give in and accepted but that was only on the exchange for a new fridge. But what about my other damages and expenses? I thought I would continue to negotiate with the only responsive agent...well, coincidently, she doesn't communicate with me anymore. Who is going to pay me for the monetary damages? the microaggressions? Pain and suffering? No one seems to be responding...don't shop at Lowe's! Avoid the headaches!

The paint they sell at East Brunswick Lowe’s is bad. I bought paint many times here but lately it is been a waste of time and money. The paint cans have solid dried bumps in the bottom of the cans and don’t mix well and the paint never dries or takes too long.

This store’s policies are so far removed from any Lowe’s I’ve ever been to. Horrible customer service and management is a joke. The last three times I’ve been to this store there have been nothing but issues. I went with a receipt from another Lowe’s because I had bought a product from another store and realized I needed another one but my store didn’t have anymore in stock. East Brunswick had it but it was $40 more, they said they don’t match pricing from other stores, meanwhile the other two Lowe’s I went to said they absolutely do. I went again today to return two products, one I had a receipt and the other I didn’t. They refunded me for the one I had the receipt for but the other product they would not refund because they said they no longer do refunds without a receipt or scanning the original CC. I explained that I had paid cash for it and they basically said that’s too bad. I just went to another Lowe’s and returned it without a problem. This Lowe’s shouldn’t even be called Lowe’s because they make up their own rules.
