I love going to home improvement stores. I like checking out the latest home gadgets and technology. 5 solid stars! We have been coming to this location here in East Brunswick for the last two decades. Always stellar customer service at the cashier and return department. Super helpful sales associates always ready to assist and answer any questions we have. They will never walk by you in the aisles without asking if you've found what you're looking for. We've had our old Kenmore Elite washer and dryer for 19 years now. The last two weeks our washer has been acting up. Each time I do a load, I pray that it doesn't explode. Today we had no choice but to get a new pair. After much research, I was set on a pair of LG's. As the sales associate was ringing us up, out of the corner of my eyes another LG model caught my attention. It was taller, more sleek...a piece of eye candy coated in Black Steel. I went over to look at it more closely. I decided to get this one instead. I was very happy with the price, special discount and delivery date. Whew!! As I am typing this review up, my old washer made it through another load. Can't wait to get my new washer and dryer this coming Thursday.

I bought Christmas Icicle Lights on 12/24/2023 to use they for New Years decorations. Some light bulbs were missing. 10 lights were not working. When I try to return them customer service manager told me that they dont accept returns on holidays items, even if they are broken. They also dont replace broken holiday items. They told me it's just the way Lowes operates. They can take your money selling you broken holiday items but they dont take responsibility for it. Very unprofessional .

Subject: Refrigerator Purchase Complaint Dear Lowe's Customer Service, I am writing to express deep dissatisfaction with my recent refrigerator purchase on September 14, 2023. The unit leaked upon installation, causing damage to my wood floors. Despite technician visits, the issues persisted, and Lowe's offered a meager $250 discount. A promised replacement faced delays, leading to distress and financial losses. Edwin, an employee, facilitated a new delivery for October 9, 2023, but the interim 4.4 cu fridge proved inadequate, risking further food spoilage. The culmination of events--damaged flooring, financial losses, and a missing refrigerator--has severely diminished my trust in Lowe's. So just moved to Jersey and wanted to remodel my small kitchen in my condo. I figured let me try Lowe's since I've been going there for other stuff. I get my Veterans discount on many of the products & there is a sale going on! The WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! If I could give not only the "Kitchen Designer" and East Brunswick Lowe's a minus a 100 stars I would! She is nasty, rude, snippy , and doesn't listen to what I want in my house, for MY KITCHEN, using my hard earned money! I complained to there corporate office and thought maybe I could get at least it resolved. So I went today to speak with the manager Alan, shouldn't even wasted my time. He told me he got the email from the convo and his demeanor he didn't give a crap. So I got my $50 for the measurements they took of my kitchen and left. Well between the different experiences I had with contractors here in Jersey which been bad and maybe I just got saved myself more headaches! There so many Kitchen and bathroom places all along RT 18. Well I guess I was welcomed to Jersey!

I tried to buy a hot water heater at Loew's in EB today. The woman who works in kitchen design said she would "try to help me," and when I showed her the specs, went off to find a plumber. Then she came back and complained about me to the plumber IN FRONT OF ME. Obviously, I left without making a purchase.

a yr and a half ago, my husband and I found the fence we truly wanted and decided to go through Lowe's. The fence was over 20k to fence in .25 acre of property. Well...now the gate won't open properly. The hinges that were ordered were the wrong ones and we arent the ones who ordered it! We are now getting the run around because the supplier says it's Lowe's issue and Lowe's is saying it's the supplier issue. The contractor came out and said he's not going to tell Lowe's Clinton (the sales rep who ordered the fence) he messed up since he gets a lot of business through Clinton. Please save yourself a lot of frustration and do not get your fence through Lowe's!!

I purchased and had lowes install vinyl plank flooring Aug 9, 2022. HORRIBLE SLOPPY JOB!!!! You can read my review on lowes East Brunswick website and also on j and s flooring (lowes installer). So many problems - one major one is they made a step in my bathroom that never had one!!! All I get is the runaround and some issues esp the step is still not fixed. It's been 5 months PLEASE DO NOT USE LOWES INSTALLERS

no more will I shop at this location, a contractor who goes everyday to Lowes over a veteran discount which I normally get in other location, but this cashier gave me a hard time. The review really is how management allowed a customer walk out and not give a crap if you buy it there or not. Well I did get the same saw, not at Lowes but your competitor and got the price. Lowes Home Depot has gone to the toilet with customer service.

On 9/17/21 my sister and I went to Lowe's to purchase a garage door with install. The salesmen who assisted us seemed to be knowledgeable, we informed him we wanted a 72 inch steel garage door I picked out one of the doors on display. He asked what was existing and did we wanted it hauled away, which we did. We asked him what the lead time was on the door and he said approximately 6 months. I said that seems awfully long he said wherever you go that is what it will be. Then he asks me if I want the door to be insulated and he had already selected the insulation and informs us that it's not the most expensive it's in the middle? When wrapping up the sale I ask him when someone would be out to measure, he said the door doesn't have to be measured when was the garage built (1954) and it's a 2 car garage I told him I took a rough measurement of 72 wide. He said okay that someone would come out to look at what is existing and I didn't need to be home for that. I was home 2 guys come out and look to make sure there was overhead clearance and they asked about moving the door lock from the center of the door to the right side of the door. I get a call from Lowe's the end of November telling me the door will be installed December 17, 2021 (I said wow that was fast, not 6 months, I was happy BUT only for a short time). I get a call on December 13, 2021 from a guy who is scheduling a measure for the garage door. WHAT? I called Lowe's explained everything that happened they had no answers. I stated we had 12 months special financing and nothing is ordered and I've already paid 3 months for nothing. I tell them I want to cancel they say no. I speak with the dept. manager who says she is calling the manufacturer? My sister calls corporate and starts a case and demands a refund since nothing is ordered. Corporate will send a complaint to the EB Lowe's management team and I should hear back within 24 hours. My sister gets a return call that from the dept. manager that there was a $20 difference in the installer's charge which held up the order and no one called the consumer (me) to inform them of this. Also I have a wooden garage door the salesmen says Lowe's charges one amount but the installer will call in on the install day and they can work something out on install day? So how much money should I have hanging round to pay them their ransom? I did speak with Jessie the department manager and she was in the process of gathering all the information, she said the door was ordered and it is scheduled to be installed on the December 17th she doesn't know why the measurer called and I don't know what the heck is going on and apparently she is trying to figure it out. She was honest about not knowing some of what was going on. I really don't need this stress. I will give them the 24 hours to straighten this out after that no more Loew's.

My husband and I went to Lowe's to look at carpet for a bedroom and,eventually, stairs and a hall too. . We found what we wanted. We were told the room would be measured the next week and installed within 2 weeks after that. Well, the first week passed ; no one showed up. No one called . We called. We left messages. No call backs. The next week came and went as did the week after that. More calls by us, asking when they'd come to measure. It wasn't until the 4th week that someone came to measure. We were told that the carpet would probably be installed within a week. To make a long story short, no one came or called ; no one answered our calls. In the meantime, over these 4-5 weeks the mattress and tables sit jammed in our family room. The large tv table sits in our kitchen and our dining room table holds our 60 inch tv along with all the blankets, bed frame, clothes etc. We have to stay in our sons old bedroom. Our clothes, medicines etc., are spread from one room to another. We are going into week 3 or 4 since the room and stairs were measured We still could not get a call back. We anticipated that any day now we'd be back in our room . But no. Finally! A call today! Guess when they're going to install our carpets. The DAY BEFORE Thanksgiving!! The day when I cook for 16 people. I'm in tears. I'm considering asking my family to have thanksgiving on that Friday. Has anyone ever heard of any carpet company this inconsiderate ? If they had answered our calls ; given us explanations ? Maybe. But it's been 2 months since we were told we'd have our carpet in within, maybe 3 weeks. What can I do other than write a review to,hopefully, save some other person or couple from winding up like us. Go to a private company for carpet. If you have to go to a Lowe's or a Home Depot get them to sign something. It's unfair. It's rude. It's terrible customer service. Granted our country is in a bad situation with finding help today. But it doesn't take anything to simply call a customer back, warning them if there are problems.

We ordered vinyl fence and paid for delivery,it scheduled for 45 days then when they delivered the post it was damaged and waited another 2 days for the panel,so I decided to call the store what's the status for panel they say it's discontinued... Such a worst store to order very disappointed...stay away from this branch

The employee Adil in flooring was more concerned with having a conversation with a friend than helping customers. We asked him to help us and he ignored us. It wasn't until his friend walked away that he helped. Then he barely wanted to help. I can't help but think it was about race. We left not wanting to come back since that's how employees treat customers.
