This rental office does not allow you to park your car in their lot during the time of rental which is a big logistics pain. Customer service was mediocre.

Should have listened to reviews and not even wasted my time trying with this place. Ordered from orbitz in advance which had no problem taking my payment. When I get there they said they cant take my card. Never had an issue anywhere else using chime. No notice anywhere saying they dont take this card. Worked fine online.No help and no care for their customers willing to spend money. Would have charged everything up front anyway so they just want their extra fees piled on.Probably would have gotten an overpriced garbage car anyway. Dont waste your time

I reserved a car several days in advance to replace a company vehicle going in for some body work. Bear in mind that this is a vehicle I use to transport customers around in. The check in process was fine with one person at the desk with 2 others just hanging out, 1 constantly on her phone behind the desk and the other floating in and out. I was the only customer there. I was told they needed some time to clean up the car for me which was fine as I was early. When I was taken out to the car and handed the keys I was totally unimpressed. The car was wet but still filthy. It looked as if all they did was hose it off. The roof was absolutely disgustingly dirty. As I walked around the 2023 Black Altima, every panel was scratched. It looks as if somebody walked around the car and keyed the entire thing. The front was the worst with scratches all over the upper bumper cover. Doors, quarter panels, trunk, all scratched up. Again this is a car I need to transport high profile customers in. When i addressed this with the rep he just kept saying “this is the only car we have right now”. Bear in mind that I reserved this car days in advance. This is the last time I’ll be renting from this Hertz.

Car windows were rather filthy. Oil check was coming on. The back windshield wiper was way over due for replacement.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the recent experience I had at one of your rental locations. As a loyal customer and a Presidential Gold member of Hertz for the past eight months, I had high expectations for the level of service I would receive. Unfortunately, my encounter at this particular branch fell far short of those expectations. I had made a reservation for a rental car with a total cost of $701, which included an undisclosed discount applied by a customer service agent. However, upon arriving at the pickup location, I was unexpectedly asked to provide proof of the discount. It is important to note that I was not responsible for providing this proof, as it was a decision made by the customer service representative. To my surprise, the discount applied was only 6%, resulting in a price increase of more than 6% from the original amount. When I questioned this discrepancy, the individuals named "Selena" and another male staff member were extremely rude and disrespectful, engaging in racially insensitive behavior. Their conduct was completely unacceptable, and it is disheartening to witness such behavior from representatives of an organization like Hertz.In an attempt to resolve the issue, I spent a significant amount of time on a call with your customer service team for a duration of two hours and five minutes. The representative I spoke with diligently tried to rectify the situation by offering an alternative discount. However, they encountered challenges with providing the discount due to the actions of the aforementioned individuals. It is disconcerting to witness such internal inconsistencies within Hertz, as the representative seemed to face issues with discounts and other matters when dealing with various staff members. This lack of cohesion and professionalism is unacceptable.In light of this distressing experience, I decided to change my pickup location and proceeded to leave without renting a vehicle. I believe it is crucial for the management team at this specific location to be made aware of the treatment I received and to take appropriate actions to ensure that such behavior is not repeated. Moreover, it is imperative that steps are taken to address the internal challenges that hinder your customer service representatives from providing a consistent and satisfactory experience.While I have always regarded Hertz as an organization that promotes impartiality and rejects racism, the actions of the individuals at this location have shattered that perception. I intend to share my negative encounter on various social media platforms, accompanied by the recordings of their inappropriate behavior, while also tagging Hertz to address these staff-related issues. It is my hope that by doing so, Hertz can rectify the situation and demonstrate its commitment to excellence in customer service.I kindly request your immediate attention to this matter, and I look forward to hearing back from you with the actions taken to address my concerns. I sincerely hope that steps are taken to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future and that Hertz will restore my faith in the brand's values and principles

We rented a cargo van and were given a box truck, which was too high to access a parking structure. The manager, Harry, was fantastic! He personally worked with us to resolve the situation to our satisfaction.I have been a President's Circle member for more than 10 years and this may be the best customer service experience I've ever received from Hertz.Thanks, Harry!

Although Hertz Car Rental is always a best option for me when traveling outside New Jersey. This was the first time that I had to rent a car locally. They don’t give you a option to pick you up and drop before & after your rental ends. This location is part of a body repairing shop, the staff is helpful but arrogant. No consideration of customers who are not doing business with the body shop customers.

This place was great to start when I picked up the car well ok since they were the only place available with a car. When I received the car the car was dirty. I had the car for over a month. I dropped of the car cleaner then they gave it to me. I receive invoice for outside cleaning 400 yes I didn’t clean the outside I cleaned the inside just like an apt I wouldn’t clean the outside of the building when leaving the apt ??? I called in they tell me some non sense I call hertz customer service they said they are just ridiculous we will fix this error for you right away. If it wasn’t for Abby I don’t think this place would be in business all the other employees are rude just awful thieves trying to scam people adding non sense things to people bills. Will definitely not be back!!!
