Be careful when choosing a mover, whether it’s near or far.
A move should be courteous and professional, and trustworthy, ABSOLUTELY.
However this was not exactly the case when we moved.
The movers came on time.
They packed up our items.
They moved them first to storage for several weeks before our new house was ready to move into.
They delivered our items on time to our new house and unpacked our items.
Now here comes the reason I’m leaving such a poor review:
WHEN I OFFERED THE MOVERS WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A VERY GENEROUS CASH TIP, THE HEAD MOVER TOLD ME “IT WASN’T ENOUGH” !!!’
So, when a senior couple such as ourselves, is faced with several mean looking strong men like the movers seemed to be, we relented and found more money to give them.
Now this service should be over, right ?
But, sadly, it wasn’t .
Because the movers drove away and also left us with all of the moving cartons and packing materials piled up in our garage which a kind neighbor helped us to make several trips to the Monroe Township Recycling Center to dispose of.
Needless to say, we were afraid to call the company to complain, however, we had to call the company to tell them that we were missing parts of our bed frame , which they said they would look for and TRY to replace. THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN.
This review has taken me almost ten years to post because I have been married to the same wonderful woman for over 56 years now who always lets things go and move on .
But I cannot.
So watch out when you use a mover.
And don’t be so trusting.

Used them to move from New Jersey to Florida. Very unhappy with this company - delivery was very late and some large furniture items were delivered broken with absolutely no resolution from Absolute Moving. It appears they switched our load to another, cheaper moving company without notifying us. Would not recommend using this company - stay away.

I received a call back from Mike quickly and set up an appointment for someone to come give me an estimate. They arrived and all seemed good. That was the last I heard from anyone. I left messages for Mike and Oleg and got no response.

100% satisfied with this company. I needed a piano moved, then on the day of moving I asked for a couple more items to be moved. They gave me a price on the spot and did the extra work I needed. Such nice people too. They got me scheduled for a job with only a few days from my call to them. Just be patient for them to call you back, they're worth it!

DO NOT USE ABSOLUTE MOVING!Rude moving men and customer service.Always complaining, "NOT ON THE LIST"Refusing to take boxspring to the BR. Said it wont fit upstairs without even trying.Ripped plaster off walls moving dresser into BR. They sent a man to look at damage and said house was built poorly. THEN, they refused to repair the damage. Dont trust ANGIE's reviews. ALL LIES.

I had the best experience with absolute. The men and oleg were professional. No damages .very careful about obstacles. On time. I had def had other quotes. Would never use anyone else. Mike was in contact consistently with us.accomadated us very quickly after estimate. This company is unbelievably reliable.

Absolute Moving has helped me twice to move a baby grand piano. Both times they wrapped the piano completely and had it out of the old house and into the new house within an hour. As a repeat customer, Mike gave me a discount which was greatly appreciated. I called a few days before we needed to move out and Mike was able to fit us in. He kept me informed as to when they would show up as a job early in the day went longer than expected. The last thing anyone would want to do after a busy day is move a piano up a full flight of stairs, but it was done with what appeared to be very little effort. I would greatly recommend Absolute for your piano moving.

It's unfortunate that I chose them to move us a short distance to our new home. We trusted them to keep our belongings overnight for the move the next day. They did not deliver all of our things. Pictures of family who are no longer with us, never surfaced as we unpacked each box. I would never recommend them. Items that could not be boxed, we never saw again. If there was the option for a 1/4 star that is what they would receive.

Please do use Absolute Moving System amazing price quote, professional gentleman, careful with my belongings. Moved from Brooklyn to NJ they beat any price from any new york moving company who try to rip you off. Thank you so much!!!!

Sadly, I wouldn't use them again, these guys are low on integrity. When moving your entire home the last thing you want to deal with is poor attitudes and carelessness. Be careful when dealing with Mike (the guy who answers the phone). He'll request a deposit before the move and say they won't charge for travel time and when the move is done they'll flip the script.

I hired Absolute for an in-state move from a single family home to another. The initial conversations and estimate process went well however the actual move was met with a few issues, some significant, others not a big deal. The movers arrived on time and got to work quickly. About 75% of the move was going smoothly but it seems the movers were growing frustrated with items that couldn't be boxed. At one point they were throwing down items from my attic which granted they were mostly bagged clothes and items in plastic bins, however it doesn't provide confidence my items are being reasonably transported. I noticed during the final walkthrough that my custom blind in the master bedroom had been significantly damaged. I brought this to the attention of one of the movers but he shrugged his shoulders and walked off. I took images to show the hole punctured through the blind for my records.I purchased lunch for the movers and provided drinks given it was a long/hot day. At the new house, everything was moved in generally where it needed to go aside from a few items. Worth noting, my entertainment console was damaged during the move along with a few other small and minor items. At the end of the move, the lead mover presented a price 20% more than what was agreed upon. I informed him of the price, he made a phone call and thankfully it was confirmed. I provided a tip consistent with the services rendered which was poorly received by the movers. They left swiftly and didn't bother to pick up any of their trash outside the new home.I contacted Absolute for resolution of the two high dollar damaged items and have been given the runaround for over a week. I've provided images of the damaged items and asked for an amicable resolution with the latest message indicating a "specialist" will contact me to make a visit. Getting into the old home won't be possible and pictures of the damaged entertainment center should be more than sufficient. I've given them several opportunities to respond with a reasonable solution and its more continued "kicking the can" type responses.I was hoping to provide them with a glowing review as things happen but its all about how those issues are resolved that make all the difference. I respect the movers have a tough job, especially during the Summer heat, but there are still standards that should be upheld. The standard insurance required by NJ should have covered the damaged items but again, it seems they have no real intention of resolving the situation in a timely manner. These folks were not the cheapest so I expected better for the money spent.

I had this moving company it was horrible... never again. The drivers were unprofessional and nervy. I packed my own boxes and they took credit for it.
