I wasn’t going to write a bad review, but then I called Revival and spoke with Amber.
Yesterday, I went in for a trim with layers and requested a long shag haircut. My hair has been hip length for over 10 years and I explicitly stated in the appointment notes and at the appointment that I wanted to keep the length as is. I was okay with losing 1-2 inches as a trim. We discussed what I wanted in-depth, and I genuinely thought we were on the same page. I knew that getting a lot of layers would mean I would see a lot of hair falling to the ground and I was doing my best to trust the process.
Once the cut was finished, I stood up and was in shock. I told her that she cut off at least 5-6 inches and she insisted she only took half an inch. My hip length hair was now above my elbows. To say that I’m devastated is an understatement. I did my best to be polite, paid, and left. I cried all the way home and for the rest of the day. My hair is in a bun, I can’t even look at it.
I called today sobbing and spoke with Amber on the phone. All she said was that she was sorry I didn’t like my hair cut. There was no empathy for my situation or remorse for completely chopping off my length. There was no apology or responsibility taken for cutting off 6 inches. She was very dry and acted like I was just wasting her time. She told me she would Zelle or Venmo me and then abruptly hung up. It’s going to take me at least a year or two to grow it back. I did receive my money back, however I’d much rather have my long hair. Never again.
I’ve attached 2 before an and 2 afters. My hair was down to my hips, and now it is above my elbows. The before photos are 3-4 years old, so it was longer when I went in yesterday. It is definitely a shag haircut, but I’m missing A LOT of length. Had I known that this much length was going to be removed, I never would have done it.

I can't say enough great things about Revival Hair Studio. I came to them with my hair a MESS, and in one visit they had my hair color corrected beautifully and an amazing cut. Everyone was complimenting me the next day how healthy and shiny and beautiful my hair looked. Kait Bilera is truly a hair color GURU! I don't dare miss my appointments every 6 weeks like clockwork! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

You make appointment like three weeks in advance. Then they call you and tell you appointment was booked incorrectly. Not the friendliest place to go to. They are people that are about here customers. Don’t waste your time.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Beware when leaving your credit card on file for holding appointment. The owner takes advantage and makes undisclosed charges. If you have an emergency day of you better rush to your appointment because you'll be paying for it regardless. Owner has no heart when it comes to human concern even after explaining your situation.

I have been a client of Revival Hair Studio for a few years now. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In particular I have been seeing Amber who I highly recommend. Never have I been so comfortable with a hairdresser. She listens to what I’m looking for in my cut/style, the color I would like my hair to be, the list goes on. I’m always excited to work with her and come up with ideas for my hair. My whole family goes to see Amber as well. She is great with children as well. My 6 year old was very nervous going for a haircut the for the first time. Amber made the experience very fun for her which helped her get through the anxiety. The salon is alway very clean along with a very nice decor.

I’ve been going to Revival for over 2 years now as a recommendation for my now 9yr old daughter. Amber just gets us. Not only does she know what we want and how to apply that but she also knows what’s best for our hair and we trust her completely. She has done numerous cuts, dyes, styles, highlights, gloss, fairy hair, blow outs, the works and she does a fantastic job every time. She has a fantastic personality that makes you feel completely at ease and knowing that at the end you will be more than satisfied with your look. The salon itself is always clean and they are always accommodating with seating, coffee, etc. overall I highly recommend Revival and will continue to come back years to come as long as I get to work with my girl Amber!

Iv been coming here for about a year now because amber always listens to what i want, and she does an amazing job. She keeps it fast an simple and i don't think i ever had a good haircut before i started coming here

I went here last fall to get a Balayage on my hair. Claudia did an excellent job and gave me exactly what I was looking for, subtle coloring. I also love the way she styled my hair. I have been back for hair trimming and have been happy. Salon is clean and people are friendly. Would highly recommend.

i never write reviews and i've been to an extremely vast number of salons in my lifetime so I've seen and experienced a lot. I decided to try this place after searching up salons on yelp near me. the service here is the best i've ever experienced. the other salons i've been to don't even come close to how kind and friendly the staff were. the salon itself was so unique and cozy. i felt so safe and comfortable during my whole visit which i think is really important considering how long our stays at the salon can be. I can tell Lisa truly loves what she does and really cares about her clients. I love how she was able to give me her true opinion while still remaining kind and giving me what i envisioned and even more. They also sell a ton of really good hair products, clothes and jewelry. i can't recommend this place enough and i can't wait to go back!!

I’ve been here a total of 4 times. I like getting a different cut whenever I go and every time they absolutely nail it. So far I’ve had Amber, Claudia, and Jessica cut my hair. I would go to any of them again but I’m confident that anyone who works there is excellent.Service: Haircut

Since I moved to the area I been looking for a place nearby to get my hair done, my first experience at Revival Hair Studio was great, Jessica did an amazing job in listening exactly to how I wanted my haircut, she made some good suggestions and overall I had an amazing experience.
