Ever since going here back around 2019, there is no other jeweler I’d fully trust! Jim and John are friendly, knowledgable, and, from my experience, price everything way better than everywhere else.
I’ve bought a watch and had a pair of custom diamond gauges made here.
I fluctuate in weight throughout the seasons, so I need my watches bands adjusted. Anywhere else I’ve done this charges me a little something for it, but Jim refuses to charge me no matter how many times I’m in there a year asking for it. The Movado I had bought from them is still listed directly through Movado as around $300+ more than what I paid all these years later.
As for the diamond gauges they made me…. I’m not sure if it’s normal policy amongst jewelers, but when I went in to upgrade the diamonds they took back the old ones for the price I had paid for them and credited me the amount towards the new ones. I asked and was told that I’d be able to do the same with the new ones if I ever feel the need to bling them out more.
Great shop, great owners, great prices. I highly recommend checking them out.

John Pierre Jewelers is absolutely the best jeweler around! I've had tons of pieces created by them and they are incredible. John and Jim are so helpful, knowledgable, and patient. They have talked us through repurposing some of my grandmother's jewelry to make multiple pieces, creating my engagement ring, and making a solid gold copy of a necklace to hold my ring. Their prices are very fair and they stand by their work! I have this beautiful collection and will go to them as long as they are around!100% recommend!!

What a gem of a store we have in Dumont. No pun intended. John Pierre Jewelers give service not found in the malls. The prices are better with top quality pieces. But even more impressive is the time and attention the owners give to each and every customer. Whether you are there for a watch battery, cleaning or large purchase, the care and time given is exceptional. Today’s visit was again a pure pleasure.

Time and time again John Pierre Jewelers does outstanding work.Even helping me 9 years ago make a custom wedding band. My husband bought the engagement ring from a different store, but they didn't bat an eye, helped me with what I needed and really listened to what my vision was.AMAZING WORK! I had recently purchased a diamond halo ring from another retailer. I came to John Pierre to get a second opinion and to inquire about sizing . They told me that I had a good ring,& did not even attempt to sell me anything from their store. However, I've looked at their selection, and immediately could see the difference in quality in one of their rings compared to mine. When I asked to try on their ring , Jim, one of the owners, said that he did not want to push me to buy a ring just because I was there . I informed Jim that I came to him for a second opinion based on the phenomenal reviews ! Well, I ended up getting a better quality ring for about the same price point. More importantly, I do not like pushy salespeople, and John Pierre is the opposite. They didn't try to sell me anything. I felt so comfortable with my purchase, and when I told Jim that I wanted to buy the ring , he gave me a clear explanation of the diamond quality and detail. This establishment will now be my "go-to" retailer! They surpass 5 stars in my opinion with their integrity , talent and professionalism. Thank you again ! I love my new ring , and happily returned my previous purchase without feeling pressured !!! Can't wait to visit again !
