so my little sister went there for her prom nails came here and they shitted in her nails! and she refused to redo them or fixed them! plus she was told it was $75 when done! they now saying $95! $95 for these bulky nails! i cant believe this

My fingers are bleeding and in pain :( I came in to get my acrylic nails removed, and my nail tech did a good job until she began giving me my manicure. While cutting my cuticles, she got distracted and cut off more than necessary. She ended up pulling really hard on the cuticle on my thumb and it hurt really badly. I was bleeding and she just put nail polish over it :0 Very sad because everyone here was nice, but I am not happy with the work :( My boyfriend ended up removing the nail polish for me when we got home because we didn’t think it was safe to just keep the polish on my open cuts, especially since it wasn’t properly cleaned at the place. I put antibiotic cream on my fingers, so hopefully I won’t get an infection.

They charged me $10 just for gel removal. She drilled off way more than she needed to making my nails feel very weak.
When I asked how much shaping was, she said it was the same price as a manicure ($17). I didn’t have time to get a manicure so I was planning to buy some press ons for the day.
When I asked again for the price because I couldn’t understand her the first time, she rolled her eyes and gave me attitude as if she was annoyed I was making her repeat herself. Very rude staff. Will not be coming back.

I have been a 20 year, dedicated” customer and - now “friend” - to Joanne …. and the staff of Joanne’s Nails! W/ a spotless salon, updated equipment and staff’s professional trainings, one feels confident and secure! How wonderful to feel that your wants are heard and followed?

Joann did my nails today and they came out amazing. $50 for an acrylic fill and Joann was super nice. Definitely making this my regular nail spot.

Came in today to get a regular pedicure. I had a previous gel pedicure so I knew they were going to charge me more. Well I called in this morning She told me gel was $45 and regular was $21 so i tell her i’ll get regular i come they take the gel off and continue my pedicure. When it’s time to pay on the paper she writes $25 and asks “25 and that’s it?” I guess she was assuming i wasn’t going to tip but i brought cash in because I know they don’t take card tips.. I pay and give her a $9 tip all the cash i had on me.. I get home and the receipt says my card was charged $30 It’s not to say it was expensive But it really is just the PRINCIPLE. why tell me you’re going to charge my card $25 but then secretly charge me $30?? I call and the owner is going to say “well we needed to take the gel off” Okayyy???? then why charge my card $30 and write on the paper for me to see $25? I genuinely don’t care but it’s just the principle man.. Service is good but that just gave me weird , stealing vibes!Service: Nail painting

First visit today even though they have been there 20 years. Tips are cash only! Kay was my manicurist and pedicurist. The woman who work there are experienced and very nice. Definitely go back.

So I just moved to the area! Friendly ladies upon arrival and took me right away. I wanted a fill and pedicure, but that quickly changed. The quality of nail was extremely low. Nails were uneven. I had one broken nail so once she fixed it, it was bulky than the rest. Needless to say, I said I do not want a pedicure done. And I'm glad because one week later, three nails are broken. Any suggested nail salons around the New Milford, NJ area would be appreciated, Yelpers!
