These guys did really sub-standard work and charged me for work they never did. I wound up bringing my Rover to an independent shop 1,000 miles away - showed them the Import specialist invoice and description of the work they said they did - and we all got a huge laugh out of it. Luckily I challenged more than $3,000 of the repairs and Import Specialists did not even counter my claims so the credit card card issuer gave me all that money back. They seem like nice guys and mean well but don't have any real experience - I think they are riding on the coat tails of the previous owner who built up a pretty good reputation.

Marc finds a way to charge outrageous amounts of money, without fixing the real issue! They didn't do the tune up they charged me for, nor did they fix my antifreeze leak...but best believe they charged me for it. Had to take my Range to another mechanic to fix the stuff they screwed up. They overcharge & do shotty work...and wind up losing what may turn out to be loyal customers. These guys are crooks. Stay away!!!

Dishonest. Given the chance they will get you to replace everything on your car, but fix the core problem you brought the car in. Couldn't diagnose a loose oil pressure switch ($50 fix) for an oil leak. He wanted me to pay to dismantle the engine head $$$. Don't bring your rover here, for your own sake.
