PROS: The guy in the store is very nice and his selection is organized while the store itself is clean. Good size parking lot next to his place as well. prices are all competitive which makes this place a good go-to for basic needs CONS: The selection size is not as big as other hardware stores; Ace, true value, and obviously big box stores like Home depot OVERALL: If you're looking for a simple hardware store this is the place to come to. I don't expect them to be as big as the Home Depot, but for basic needs they're good

Dumont Hardware is always my first stop. Bill is knowledgeable, helpful, and usually has what you need in stock, including some stuff you cannot find elsewhere. The prices are reasonable. As an example, I needed large washers to use as shims on a motor shaft. True Value wanted $2.79 each! Bill had them at the correct price, 12 cents each. His advice is not always needed, but I listen anyway and usually learn something I did now know before. Also his advice is priceless when you do need it. Make Dumont Hardware your first stop. You may not need to make a second stop.

Bill is incredibly knowledgeable! From plumbing to electrical, he's given me helpful troubleshooting advice for my DIY projects for years. Very good prices and he'll most likely have whatever you need, if not in the front then definitely the back, its like a magician's hat back there. He had items I've been looking for that couldn't be found in Lowe's, Home Depot, and Benjamin Brothers. I am so grateful for your help, Thank you Bill

Bill the owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The store is not huge but like another poster said, he seems to have everything, and he has always has what I need. His advice is spot on and he wants to make sure you have the right product or item for the job. Try finding any of this is the big box stores - you wont. I don't know what I would have done without this store and Bill. He has saved me so much money over the years, telling me how to do something so I don't have to pay a plumber or handy man. This is the best hardware/home type store around. Thank you Bill!!!

Dumont Hardware has anything and everything you need. The owner Bill, is not only friendly but knowledgeable of everything in his store. Even his friends give you free advice. His friend, Newton, advised me on how to store ice melt so it would last un damaged. I simply love this place.
