I came here on a whim. Marie cut my hair, she gave a fade which she did an amazing job. My cousin who is a barber couldn't believe I got such a great fade from "great clips". She is now my barber and I will not go anywhere else unless it's I absolutely need a cut. Vibe is that of a great clips

Majority of stylists's work there is just below the expectation. There is only one if get her you are lucky. Now I dont see thatStylists there anytime go there. Every last 3 times visited, I had received very poor haircut. Im a customer since the location was open

I've been loyal to this specific great clips for years. However this last visit may have been my last. The lady that cut my hair did a horrible job. My hair is completely lopsided and tbh worse than when I came in. I asked to have my hair thinned out extremely( I need this done every 3 months as my hair is so thick) and she did one swipe around my head. It usually takes 3-4 times. Anyway. The real issue was how nasty she was about my earrings. She kept huffing and puffing about my hair getting snagged on my earring. I told her she can just pull the hair off they don't hurt and she chuckled rudely and kept huffing and puffing. She was a little older and I get it, not your cup of tea but no need to make someone feel bad about it. I couldn't even tell her she did a crappy job on my hair cause of how confrontational she was about my piercings.

I am very satisfy with my hair cut i had been a customer from about 3 years already and now i am very glad that to have stylist like Hector in the Dumont Plaza he is very professional and patience with costumers. thank you

I just asked them for a trim in my layers, she cut my hair way toooo low and didn't even blow dry my hair had to walk back with soaked hair in the cold. I mean I didn't even tip, fairs isn't it ?

My boys love this place! The hairdresser was so patient with my ten year old, as he picked through toy choices and then lollipops. So kind and giving. Practically no wait time when you sign up online and then get into the car. Totally worth it.

Just got a haircut. This is the first and the last time I will go here. 98% of the time she made me keep my head "as forward as you can go". So the whole time, I was staring at my crotch while she cut my hair. I was concerned because she kept snipping a lot over and over on the left side. When I asked, she said everything was fine. Then she kept pulling my hair from each side, I guess trying to see if it is the same length? At one point another customer walked by and said hello multiple times. He wasn't letting it go finally that customer said "Marie, Hi". I guess that's who was cutting my hair because she finally said hello back. I peaked up from staring at my crotch as the hair cutter says out loud "I wasn't sure who he was talking to, I figured he was talking to her". She points to the back of my head to indicate me, and I glance to see the customer saying hi to her was an Asian gentleman. WTH! Does Marie think all Asians know each other? After 15 minutes, she finally said for me to lift my head and I had no words. She look my long back length hair and gave me the "Tricia Takanawa"! I can't even tie my hair in the founding fathers' fashion. Yes, I'm Asian but I don't have an accent and I don't stutter. I was so specific in the length I required. I told her twice, I need to be able to pull my hair back. I showed her on my hair how long the front needed to be and how long the back should be. When she put her hand 3-4 inches above where I showed her, I showed her again 2 more times. But she gave me whatever she was dishing out. I wish I didn't go here.

I would love to give this place a zero, if ever possible. It is a group of unprofessional and rude hairdressers. I showed her (a lady with tattoos all over her body) pictures of the model that I wish. She said Ok. She began from the forehead area which is never the case. While cutting, I asked her to go a little bit more deeper because it was disproportionate overall . She messed up my hair with so many noticeable mistakes. When I did not like it, she called the manager who was totally a rude person. No apology from either, yelling at me to leave the store and not to pay if I do not like. Very rude manners. I never go there even if they give me an offer of life time free hair cut. I will also file a complaint to the Great Clips corporate and NJ consumer affairs....STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
