Think most of these negative reviews might be for the pharmacy, but the CVS store itself is great. They’ve always got great deals, and the staff are amazing - especially Michelle. I was being slightly annoying trying to process a bunch of coupons on the Saturday night before Christmas, but she was very helpful and kept a smile on her face through the process.

their phone "service" is a complete joke they leave you on the line mid conversation for several minutes then hang up and medicine is never ready when they say it is

CVS Drive Thru lanes: "Out of Order" - Have to go inside...that is, if you don't need a COVID test..those lanes connect directly to a person.CVS Customer Service: Cannot blame the employees although I'm sure they get the brunt of customer's dissatisfaction..CVS Phone Service: If you call, you may have to charge your cellphone before anyone answers you -- that is, after you get the lengthy, long, first priority message of how to on COVID -- a money-maker for sureCVS Drug Prices: Walgreen's is less expensive all aroundI got tired of long waits on the phone (NO, I do NOT want CVS App and some things cannot be done Online) and I transferred my Rx to Walgreen's. My spouse saw the difference and then transferred his to Walgreen's. He cannot believe the difference and ease of using Walgreen's, as well as having the ability to actually speak with a live person.

Not sure why I put up with the poor service here but I'm switching everything away from this CVS.Astonishingly slow service, run out of prescriptions and notify you they don't have in stock at the last minute.IF (and that's a big "if") you can get someone to acknowledge you're waiting to be served, you'll most likely catch an attitude. The hours are sparse.Need medication after 8PM? Look elsewhere.Let's just soak in the drive through. There are two lanes. One USED to be marked "only for COVID test" USED to. Not anymore. If you pull in to the formerly marked lane and wait for 10-15minutes, one of the aforementioned customer service all stars will tell you to switch lanes. Because you know...the sign that ISN'T there.Beyond ridiculous. There are 3 Pharmacies within 1 mile, choose any of them BUT CVS Dumont.

CVS store is a great place to shop for meds, gift cards, as well as so much more. The associates at the Dumont store are so helpful!

The WORST pharmacy you could ever pick. They are so disorganized, they have 2 drive thru lanes and you sit there for 30 min just waiting for someone to even answer you through the drive thru. We sat in the drive thru for 27 min until we finally realized that the lane we were in was a COVID testing only lane. They have no signs that state that until you reach the actual window. So basically if you sit behind 20 cars it’s your own fault even though they have zero signs anywhere. Do NOT recommend this place it’s horrible.

Pharmacy is persistently short staffed and pharmacists condescending with little empathy for customers. Pharmacy hours keep getting curtailed, making it less and less convenient for customers. When calling you can be on hold for excessive amounts of time. When I complained about a very long hold time, the person on the other line lectured me, telling me that I would be on hold for that time or longer if they were helping a customer or on the phone with a doctor-which actually means there is only one person available to answer calls. When trying to check out in the front sometimes staff will direct you to self checkout even if you don't want to use it. I have a CVS care pass and have been using this pharmacy for 10 years. It has progressively gotten worse and worse. I will be taking my business and health care needs elsewhere.

My visit to the Dumont CVS store was not planned, nor do I shop at this location normally. (I think it was my first time there) However, when I walked in I was SO IMPRESSED by this location - it is by far the nicest CVS I have ever been in. Each employee was diligently working but said hello and asked if I needed assistance anytime I came near them or was in their line of sight. I was wondering around the store, thoroughly enjoying my shopping experience and amazed that just one week after Christmas, it looked as awesome as it did. I only wish this store was closer to my home because this is what it should feel like to shop in a CVS. KUDOS to the Dumont team and keep up the good work!

Dumont CVS pharmacy is the worst pharmacy of the whole town, all pharmacist specially Imran Siddque they are always behave so rude and I never say any kind of smile on their faces, they are not welcoming at all for there customers, we give them business we are paying for our medicine, but they always behaves like we are getting medicine free as a charity.Yesterday I was sick with high blood pressure and severe headache, my doctor send my prescription to CVS, they never give complete medicine and the guy standing on counter is so rude and toxic I am in pain and he is saying our pharmacy is closing in two minutes you don’t have time to check your medicine take it in two minutes or I’ll not give you medicine after two minutes, he misbehaved and not give full prescription, I think CVS management needs to change their staff from this pharmacy, CVS dumont is losing so much business because of their rude and toxic staff.

This is the most hardest working CVS pharmacy I’ve ever come across. Between the in-person, drive through, COVID vaccines, tests…the staff here are absolutely non stop. Yes, there are occasions when they don’t pick up the phone, but I do not fault them — it’s because they are working their butts off and they are dependable. No matter how busy and exhausted they no doubt must be, I have never had a negative interaction with the pharmacy staff.

One of the best CVS in the area, easy access and friendly staff in the front cashiers and pharmacy department (pharmacy closes daily in the lunchtime for 30 minutes.) I went there for my Covid-19 2nd booster shot and was very surprised by the professional service from the pharmacy staff.I got my docket record updated in the next few days. If you had trouble to find the record, my experience was to try the mixed and matched of the first name combinations (sometimes they put 1/2 of the first name into middle name if you have space in your first name.) I eventually found 2 records with different first name arrangements ??♂️?)I highly recommend this place.

This is one of the larger CVS stores in the area. They have a huge lot, they're clean inside, and all the employees are very nice to you. They also have a drive-thru for your prescriptions and they're located near the center of town in Dumont.

Worst customer service at the pharmacy....had a rude man with glasses behind the pharmacy say some very questionable things that even made my wife startled by his beyond rude, unnecessary & disgusting behavior/comments. Always see the guy there and never had problems with him prior or any staff there. If anything he's usually very polite and who knows if he was having a bad day....still not a justified reason to treat customers.. The town of Dumont itself has shown my family and I so many poor behaved businesses all around with disgusting toxic customer service. This spot really disappointed me as I genuinely used to love having small chats with some of the kind pharmacy staff before and love to shop there for nostalgia reasons with my family. Hoping this spot gets better over time and that the staff behind the pharmacy can treat people much better, as clearly there are many other complaints both in the reviews here and through word of mouth.

The Pharmacy staff is soooo UNPROFESSIONAL and EXTREMELY RUDE to their customers. Everyone in Dumont speaks so poorly on how they treat their customers. Corporate should definitely be aware of the type of service this specific location provides or should I say doesn't provide. On a positive note, All the surrounding CVS locations in New Milford are top of the line and go above and beyond for their customers. Would HIGHLY recommend using New Milford CVS.
