**The Worst Pharmacy in Dover: A Disgrace to Customer Service and Competence**
If I could give zero stars, I would. Walgreens in Dover, NJ, especially their pharmacy department, is a complete disaster. Their level of disrespect, incompetence, and sheer arrogance is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. After 20 years of being a loyal customer, they have finally pushed me to my breaking point, and I will never return.
Let’s start with the customer service—or should I say the lack of it. The staff talks to you as if you're beneath them. They act as though they’re doing you a favor by simply answering the phone or acknowledging your presence. The new pharmacist there, who seems to think her position as the head pharmacist is some grand achievement, has an attitude like she’s too good for the job. Her arrogance is sickening. She clearly doesn’t want to be there and it shows. You can sense it in her every word, every eye roll, and her utter lack of professionalism.
To make matters worse, they make constant mistakes. I’m not talking about an occasional slip-up; I mean every other time I’ve picked up my medication, something was wrong. This is not a small inconvenience—it’s people’s lives and health they’re playing with! They seem completely oblivious to the fact that their carelessness has serious consequences. How do you keep screwing up basic refills? I’m forced to spend my time doing their job, calling my doctor to fix their mistakes. For a pharmacy that should be managing people's health, they can't even manage their own tasks.
And let’s talk about their technology—or the lack thereof. We live in a time of automation, AI, and machine learning, yet they can’t even keep track of when a refill was promised. Their system is ancient, their process inefficient, and it’s absolutely not my job to remind them of the promises they’ve made. But of course, their poor technology isn’t their fault. Or is it? Maybe if they were smarter, they’d advocate for better systems so they wouldn’t have to face angry customers every day.
I’ve spent 20 years dealing with this mess. Twenty years of putting up with rude service, and I’d estimate that my wife and I have easily spent around $10,000 a year here. That’s over $100,000 in my lifetime at this Walgreens, and yet, they treat me like garbage. But soon, they won’t be treating anyone at all because their jobs are on the chopping block. With their incompetence and bad attitudes, they’ll be replaced by machines that won’t mess up your orders or speak to you like you’re some peon. And to be honest, I won’t feel bad for them. Keep that stank attitude while you're collecting unemployment, wondering what went wrong.
Because, let’s be real, just because they wear lab coats doesn’t mean they’re geniuses. They are as dumb as the systems they rely on—systems that are about to outsmart them. And they don’t even realize it. Soon, their jobs will be automated, and I’ll get the last laugh because what I do for a living won’t be replaced anytime soon. Meanwhile, they’ll be at home, trying to figure out how they got here, unable to understand that it’s their own incompetence and arrogance that led to their downfall.
If you value your time, money, or sanity, take your business elsewhere. I’ve already moved to CVS, and I’m not looking back.

If I could give these pharmacy 0 stars I would.
AVOID THIS PHARMACY ALL TOGETHER. RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL AND LAIRS.
This pharmacy straight up and lied to me about filling one of my prescriptions. My regular pharmacy had been having a hard time stocking this particular medication, along with other pharmacies. It had to do with the supplier. I work about 30 miles from my home and this pharmacy near my job had it. Well, they said that there was an issue with my insurance which I thought was odd because I never had issue before and had the same insurance for years and been on this med for years. But I was like okay because they gave me a 7 day supply.
I came to find out that it was the pharmacy themselves were the ones refusing to full it because they wanted to know why I was getting this medication and the doctor didn't say why. I understand they have to ask, but ask to know what kind of surgery I had was too personal for my liking.
But for the pharmacy to just lie that from the beginning is unprofessional and then to get mad at me when I called them out on it and gave them an attitude.

Terrible attention, they have me waiting for my medicine and they don't even answer the phone to receive my doctor's order for my medicine. Here they have two people in the same situation, a terrible lady named Jacky.

This pharmacy never opens on time. Those pictures were taken at 9:25 am. If you need your medicine go somewhere else.

I have come several times and there are employees who give good service and others do not, but there are more times where they have treated me well rather than poorly.

this is the best local chain pharmacy in Morris County. Every single time I interact with one of the staff, whether it's a pharmacy technician or the pharmacist himself. They are so patient and accommodating. It is such a breath of fresh air in the pharmacy world where everything is still automated, and fast paste

In this store there is a rude lady who has no education at all. She sees you entering the store and does not look at you well, you go to pay and she does not say a word to you, she begins to scan the products and throws them at you with bad energy.. She is from India, Latina, does not have a name to know who she is, I hope the management of the place does something…

I have a difficult time rating this place. The service has gotten better, not so many loitering people I’ve seen but was rudely questioned by what I hope was not an employee , who couldn’t speak English and asked me repeatedly where did I pay for my drink, I pointed inside, she even touched it I said NO, mine!! Not yours!! Idk if it was a loitering person an employee I’ve not seen yet, I think she was asking me to buy her or give her my drink? I think that’s freaking ridiculous
I’ve had a lot of bizarre interactions here
